Open-toed shoes with a fur-collar coat, buttoned up so it must be nippy out. What women will suffer to wear the right shoe… and I think Sar doth protest too much about the color Brown.
Maybe she works in a warm office and the shoe goes better with what’s under her coat, but she had to wear the coat to get to work. Any advice for what to do in that situation, short of just bringing two pairs of shoes with you?
You have to bring two pairs of shoes. There’s no choice. Besides, do you really want to ruin your beautiful shoes (or watch the return on your investment go down) by walking them to work every day? That’s for your grunt shoes!

I have had more shoes reheeled living in NYC than I can count, methinks ‘grunt’ shoes might be necessary this winter. Could anything be more flattering than being on this site? I can’t say I like the proportions of the coat to the pant. And in the combination of the fabric and color of the coat makes it feel too heavy, maybe if she would have worn and nice pillowy dress underneath it, I think it may have been pulled off a little bit better.
