Those metallic pink sandals make her look like a little girl playing with her mom’s clothes .She looks lovely.

Looks a little like model Irina Lazareanu.Love the black legs, pink shoes.Makes all-black look refreshing.

Isn’t that the model Daisy Lowe?
October 30, 2006 at 9:01 am
She’s picture perfect, especially with that expression on her face. Love the sandals/tights combination. And the pretzel, too, of course.
October 30, 2006 at 9:21 am
love the pretzel contrasted with the mostly black ensemble!
October 30, 2006 at 9:35 am
If only she could have that pretzel, at that exact size the whole day. Aah, who kneew the perfect accesory could be so hard, yet so easy to find!

En mi opinión, lo mejor de esta temporada son las medias tupidas como las de esta chica. Irresistibles si se combinan con una sandalias en contraste
October 30, 2006 at 10:10 am
I’d much rather see her in something besides all black. But, it does punctuate her shoes.
October 30, 2006 at 10:42 am
Love the coat. LOVE HER SHOES! Luv it, luv it!
October 30, 2006 at 10:50 am
Love that pop of metallic color!
October 30, 2006 at 11:01 am
love the shoes with the black tights. In my line of work (lawyer), I cannot do that kind of thing during the week (unless I want to lose a few clients), but I love the idea.
Just an Observation

I love the shape of her coat and the way she is wearing her hair is gorgeous…so simple and yet understatedly elegant for everyday.
GRAZIE AGIN SAR!

HA! I did the opaque black stockings with metallic sandals look a couple weeks ago, love this look. It feels very 1930′s to me

Indeed, PretzelGirl is well put together. Do hope the high carb meal gave her the energy to rock whatever interview she was on her way to (assumption what with the portfolio and all).
October 30, 2006 at 2:42 pm
love the hose with open toes! so chic
October 30, 2006 at 4:03 pm
The perfect “petite mademoiselle”…
October 30, 2006 at 5:05 pm
cute shoes!!! love them!!!
October 30, 2006 at 8:22 pm
Sart, I beg to differ. There’s one other place in the world where a pretzel would be the perfect accessory – Philly.
October 30, 2006 at 11:54 pm
the heck with the pretzel, I love her legs, she is a doll.
October 31, 2006 at 12:18 am
I love this look, but everytime I try to do something like this, I end up cursing the shoes (and my feet) well before the end of the day. Heels for work (where I sit most of the day) or for night, but all the walking… I can’t do it!
Are all these heel-about-town girls just willing to put up with the pain for fashion, or is there some secret I don’t know about?
October 31, 2006 at 1:26 am
This girl is my new role model. (Just got bangs cut into my hair and I think I could pull this off!)
October 31, 2006 at 2:04 am
oh wow I would never have thought to team metallic pink with black opaque tights especially during the day!!! only a model could pull that off…she looks FAB!
October 31, 2006 at 2:06 am
actually, pretzels – brezen or brezel, is a very german thing. That could be a very German look, if people were that chic here. Love the look, Love the shoes, Love your blog- its my daily news to update me what is going on back home.

There’s one more place in the world where it’d go perfectly well together – Krakow, Poland :-) great shot by the way :-)

I am but a humble Mid-Westerner– I need to know if open-toed sandals with tights is universally accepted or not. If not, what’s the rule on that subject?
October 31, 2006 at 7:44 am
Where is that coat bought??? I LOVE IT!!!!!
October 31, 2006 at 8:23 am
This pretzel looks delicious!!Love her shoes, and love most, the match that she maid, with the cloths all in black and just the shoes in first place, and color.beautiful
October 31, 2006 at 3:18 pm
She really is adorable. I normally would have said “no way” to the tights with open toe shoes (I thought that was a total faux pas) … but this is proof that “breaking” the rules in the right way is the very definition of fashion! Really cool …
November 1, 2006 at 7:41 am
I thought it was Daisy Lowe too… she looks amazing, like she just threw the outfit on in 5 mins… effortless.
November 1, 2006 at 7:45 am
really perfect. you’d never see something like that (the sillouette, shoes, and pretzel!) in london. very very new york and fabulous for it.
November 1, 2006 at 7:18 pm
To me the important thing is that the tights are really opaque. If you could see her toes the look would be all wrong, but she’s pulled it off perfectly.
November 2, 2006 at 1:15 pm
totally loving the pink shoes with the stockings.
November 5, 2006 at 5:23 am
cute cute cute .. its a funny thing about the pretzel – I wonder – maybe I should design some pretzel brooches, scarves, pins, necklaces bags… they may be the next big thing!
November 6, 2006 at 12:18 am
i think it might be Australian actress Emma Lung, which is funny given the quintessential New Yorkness of the pic…
November 6, 2006 at 11:49 pm

November 7, 2006 at 2:25 am
