Your book has been on the shelf of the COS store (behind the cash register) in Paris for months. Can't take my eyes off it each time I shop there. I own a copy, hence no need to buy it. I sense that COS uses it for decorative / image purposes, they are not selling it.

Would just like to say that decency can be found in any country; and no matter where it comes from and in what manner, it brings a smile to our face. You certainly brought a smile to mine with that post.

Indeed very generous and very THOUGHTFUL of them! I found out the book is supposed to go on sale here in late April and the price is about $110, so they could've easily sell it for $200 at the event, but they didn't. Being from Moscow, I really didn't expect it, btw :) Too bad I didn't get a chance to show up though. Hope you loved it here!

Truly sad to hear that imported books cost so much in Russia . . .

But there could be more people, cos in fact many of my friends (who adore ur blog) thought that it would be a "private party" only for selected people

me, someone from a very littre russian town on Black Sea Coast, I read this blog during a few years. in fact, I don't rememeber how long I read it.it was always New York, Paris, Milano, cities in Australia, Europe, America and finally Mr. Sastorialist goes to Moscow to present his book when I am in Moscow too. and I get to know about it just 7 days after his visit.. what a luck!(just in case. I am in Moscow for the next 4 months)
