So some people are going to bitch because I’m going to use the T-word, but it has to be said…this look is absolutely TIMELESS. She is so intriguing. You have photographed her before, haven’t you?

October 4, 2012 at 4:54 am
a very classical look but she keeps it interesting with a few details :)
October 4, 2012 at 11:33 am
I think you are spot on with the use of the word “timeless”. It’s a perfectly fitting word as some things are really just that, timeless.
October 5, 2012 at 4:15 pm
I agree–she is very intriguing! Her name is Kamilya and she’s a stylist. I read an interview about her on Domahoka: http://domahoka.com/the-outlands

Her coat is absolutely stunning and timeless :)
She’s in very deep thought and this would be a great ad for the coat. I like the structure.

Perfect. Just perfect.
October 3, 2012 at 5:22 pm
that coat is genius, love it with a pair of flats
I’m not a fan of the dress neither the shoes (I don’t like doll/ flat shoes) but there is something about this photo that attracts me. Can’t really point it out, maybe it’s the style of her hair or her beautiful pale face which reminds me of a Japanese Geisha doll -though without bright red make-up- or the overall composition of the photo. Whatever it is, it made me write a comment here & I don’t really usually do it. I want this photo hanging on my salon :)
this is so Lartigue

I was trying to figure out what was so captivating about this photo and I think it is the mystery that surrounds someone who is guarded. This woman’s face, the fact that her coat is buttoned all the way up and her hands are hidden…she’s keeping things close to the chest, and it’s intriguing and beautiful.
October 3, 2012 at 6:46 pm
wow amazing coat!
October 3, 2012 at 6:52 pm
Wow. On a hanger, I’d assume that this is “too much coat.” But, on an actual body, the cut makes a strong statement.
October 3, 2012 at 6:58 pm
What a stunning photo! The coat is so beautiful and her expression is a bit mysterious. Love it!

Love this coat!!!!!
October 3, 2012 at 8:45 pm
She looks gorgeous! Kinda like she slept with Sherlock Holmes last night and borrowed his coat to go home in. But belted it to make it hers. Very pretty and sweet. I love the plaid.
October 4, 2012 at 12:34 am
I especially love this comment by Martine ! Also the 3F’s above what a lovely observation.
October 4, 2012 at 4:49 am
Well, now that you say it. Yes, that would make a lovely story around it :)

If so The Sherlock Holmes i.e. Benedict Cumberbatch’s coat is what she should have taken :-D see picture http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-azaJHZiilX4/T0e5jrwQamI/AAAAAAAAB4E/MDGUl8T4bVE/s1600/tv_sherlock_2.jpg

That is a powerful look, and she wears it so well. It could easily overwhelm someone else, but she carries it like it’s no big deal. Awesome.

This is so pleasantly Sherlock Homes meets total couture, but her look could fit in any era. Very intriguing, very mysterious.
Mostly just lovely.
October 4, 2012 at 12:18 am
What an elegant look. Love the brown belt, it really make me love this look even more. The plaid against her skin tone is just beautiful.
October 4, 2012 at 12:36 am
its a tweed raglan coat with cape back, i like it a lot.
October 4, 2012 at 12:39 am
Сама девушка маленькая и хрупкая, но из за этого пальто плечи и руки смотрятся очень огромными, это ей не подходит….
October 4, 2012 at 12:41 am
Love the lighting and the muted colors, the contrast of her soft hair against the concrete wall.
A really beautiful photo.

I wonder what I can add to the above comments ?
Spectacular photo, the color and shape of the coat against her delicate face and legs paired with (Chanel ?) flats is gorgeous.
The composition has an air of longing or mystery.

With Lucy Liu playing Sherlock Holmes in the new TV show “Elementary,”
her choice was simple. I’m going to get her a deerstalker and a pipe, though.
Now what’s the rule? Should your pipe match your shoes?
October 4, 2012 at 10:15 am
Just kidding. I know the correct answer is that your pipe should match your belt.
