Could she look more pale on what looks like a cloudy day on Madison.
The colors are great ///very subtle and yet tasteful enough to appreciate…..I agree with you there Sar…..everything looks well tailore, classic waist be;ted trench, beautiful leather bag…LOVE LOVE …good stuff…except for the complexion….what’ ya gonna do …thats built in rught!

it’s all about the proportions with her, short pant, long trench, little flat shoes, supersized tote, big sunglasses, skinny girl. Yin and Yang.

this bag is fantastic!!that’s what captures attention, there rest is good but just details

Yes to everything…except for the bag.

I vote for everything but the bag.
Seems to me part of style is picking and choosing what goes. Big bags don’t go with everything.
Interesting pants length. Are we usually seeing those with boots instead of flats?

Agree with the others – I’m not a big fan of the bag. But that doesn’t stop her from looking great! I find grey very hard to wear, but it looks lovely with the tan.

I love how the bag is the focal point. It looks so impractical, being large and empty, that it almost becomes an art-work-come-accessory.
It seems more creative, like it wasn’t chosen for the mere purpose of matching one’s shoes or impressing girls with It Bags.
positively the same dame

this is pretty much what you will find me wearing on any given day. i agree with everyone about the bag, though. i carry a large cream henry beguelin satchel when i need to carry a lot of stuff because his bags are feather-light AND they look great, or a vintage di camerino if i can get by with schlepping less, but usually i don’t carry any bag at all — a cell phone (which, like you, sart, i use instead of wearing a watch) and cash in one pocket of the trench and my keys in the other. my ankles are starting to get a bit cold as the season progresses, so i will probably have to go to longer pants and a heavier coat fairly soon, and the ballet flats will be traded in for some sort of flat boot, but this look and variations on it are my basic everyday uniform for running around town.

The bag just looks impractical and cumbersome to carry. And I still don’t like most of these oversized shades.

I agree 100 % with Rafe Totengco, it’s all about proportions , and I think she chose them perfectly.I adore her look , big bag included.

She looks fantastic. I love the flats in the neutral colour.

What’s up with the bag?!?!?
November 22, 2006 at 3:45 pm
nice. but she should be wearing heels

I think my issue w/the bag is the color. If it were more complimentary to the rest of the outfit (such as a dark brown), it would work. I do like the oversize sunnies, though.

I like the bag, because everyone doesn’t like it.
The bigger the better.

That is a great bag, anyone know who it is by?
November 23, 2006 at 2:22 am
Oh no, I love this bag. This is what makes the whole look work !
November 23, 2006 at 11:33 am
I love all of that, but the bag seems to dwarf the rest. I wonder what it would have looked like in taupe suede?

garbage bag, great ensemble.
November 24, 2006 at 6:06 pm
she’s overdoing “oversized”
November 24, 2006 at 10:59 pm
This is adorable, I could do this.. I might.
November 26, 2006 at 5:49 am

November 29, 2006 at 2:50 am
except the shoes…

Isn’t this the ubiquitous Chanel garbage bag everyone is hauling around? Hmm. Not sure about that, but the rest of her looks quite chic.
