outrageous. just flipping outrageous. Handsome guy, phenomenal coat and wonderful scarf. I can tell how soft it is just by looking at the picture. I hope I age that gracefully. Oh, and the cords are terrific too.

I love the old-school style loafers with the cords. He is really elegant and handsome.

Chromatically, in fact in all ways, a winner.
And the coat looks wonderfully creamy….

Should be in the textbook under Casual Elegance. Even his hair is perfect.

would have liked to see a pop of color, maybe in the scarf. it’s a little watered-down for me. but i agree that he’s elegant and rather classically stylish.

well played indeed

Very nice. Except for the lenght of his pants. Narrow pants should be shortened properly otherwise…this is what happens.

A wonderful look over all. This is the very definition of “tasteful” casual dress.BUT Are those BLACK gloves he’s holding? I understand not wanting to mix too many shades of brown, but black gloves would disrupt the entire outfit. Good thing he’s just hanging on to them.JP

Yep, complete harmony!

If I was a man, I would immediately buy a pair of trousers exactly like his.

Certenly is stylish!

When I marry someone, I want my husband to look just as stylish and effortless as this sir…

That coat is amazing, very rich and warm looking.

How are all New York men so well-dressed? I’d like to steal his scarf.

I like this older fella not afraid to wear a slimmer cut trouser…and it looks good on him. I agree that the hem should be taken up a bit since narrow legs look better with no break. Overall his look is effortless and very becoming to him.

Great pant. Moleskin? Moleskin is the new corduroy. One thing: so narrow a pant leg shouldn’t break so much at the bottom. Otherwise, very fine.

I think the ochre tint of his slacks give it a wow factor, when contrasted to the monochromatic tan & beige above the belt. Nicely done!

It really doesn’t get better than this. Such a beautiful colour scheme, and the shoes and cords just blend in perfectly. He looks so gracefully elegant.

the color of the trousers really pops esp. with the rest being so monochrome – and I love the way he ties his scarf.
December 20, 2006 at 3:06 pm
Now this gentleman is the visual definition of dapper. Well done!
