I dig the way he did his hair into a black version of a pompadour. Very cool!! His looks says “I’m cool to hang out with and my taste in music is really good”…and i’m sure he’s right.
ha ha i was standing next to this guy in line but i dropped out after an hour (i’m sure he waited at least 3!). whilst in line, i kept thinking, this queue is a sartorialist field day! lo and behold you were there!
the guy looks nothing like Basquiat, it seems like everytime a black guy that is somewhat hip gets compared to Basquiat on this Blog, open your eyes people!! there is no resemblance, nice outfit though…..

I think he is the only guy ever who can pull off the pinkey ring and not look like a jerk-off.

Just wanted to post again because I read the entries after mine and couldn’t figure out this “Basquiat” reference.
I’ve since been educated on this artist (I was only a kid when he died so soon).
And, err, I don’t think it fits at all for this “dandy dreadlocks dude” but at least I can place the reference now.
Thank you, Sart, for allowing this to be a place of education on all things and not just fashion!
