January 8, 2007 at 9:01 am
those videos are so great! totally drool-worthy clothes of course and makes one a bit envious, but still! fabulous idea!
January 8, 2007 at 9:25 am
Great additions. Congratulations! I wanted to reccommend a French film to you, if you have not seen it already. The movie is called “La Belle Noiseuse”. The cinematography and the ambiance of the film is so great that you are left with nothing but inspiration. Perhaps this one is for your collection that will definitely complement the book “The artist in his studio”. cheers.

Wow. That’s awesome. And I must say I just love Elizabeth Sulcer’s style. And in addition to that she is really beautiful. Why isn’t she a model?
Please show more photos of her :) Also, are you going to implement more cities than Milano, NY and Paris or are you going to stick to those three?
January 8, 2007 at 10:05 am
Thanks a lot!!! These additions are just great…About Florence enjoy it…I go a lot because of my work too, and I love a restaurant over there called 4 LEONI, you maybe already have gone, but if you haven’t try it one day, all the people from fashion go there now for the Pitti Fair… Best RegardsThe Spanish girl

LOVE your blog. Just love it. Cannot wait for the women’s SartoriaList. BTW, Shoe Service Plus is the best for shoe repair (as a few of the gentlemen on your list attest). And Cameo Cleaners on 3rd Ave between 22nd and 23rd are phenomenal (albeit expensive).

I absolutely love Sartorialist – you brighten up my day. I’ve always enjoyed pics of how people actually wear clothes and put them together much more than magazine editorials and runway pics – you’re a star!

Congrats, Scott! I have been following your blog from the beginning (when you were posting photos on another fashion website). You’re going from success to success.
January 8, 2007 at 4:34 pm
Congratulations for the improved site!
Ever since i discovered your blog a few months ago, i’ve been visiting it everyday, and that’s more than i can say for most sites.
I just want to say that your photos are such inspirations. I don’t live in a metropolitan area at all, but i think even the most common person from a small town who loves fashion and style can find inspiration from your shots.
January 8, 2007 at 4:37 pm
Thanx! Thanx! Thanx!….for being you and putting daily inspiration into the lives of many, ESPECIALLY MINE!
January 8, 2007 at 4:55 pm

LOVE the format of the SartoriaList. So much information is given in one glance, since the photo speaks to the style of the individual in question. It’s just brilliant.
Go Sartorialist, go!
January 8, 2007 at 7:11 pm
Hi!In your “press list” it’s missing the magazine i read about your blog. It’s called Revista Bravo (brasilian magazine). On the cover a picture about the movie Volver (http://bravoonline.com.br/images106/capa.jpg).Nice changes around here :-)

LOVE IT. love the new side bar and the deluge of new information. :)
January 9, 2007 at 6:52 am
Congratulations, Scott! Your blog is the first thing I check in the morning – it’s essential reading for anyone who loves fashion, I think – and I love what you’ve done with the site so far. Can’t wait to read your women’s SartorialList in April (and thanks for keeping it real with the variety/mix – after all, not everyone wants to spend $500 on a haircut or pair of jeans, and that whole high-low mix is how most people live/shop these days anyway, in fashion and in life). Thanks again for doing all the heavy lifting for us! And the new features look great – Mazel Tov!
January 9, 2007 at 7:14 am
hail to the additions! keep up the good work, there’s nothing like the streets and your camera ;)
January 9, 2007 at 8:44 am
Great new features. Keep on doing your good job! Regards from Germany!
January 9, 2007 at 9:51 am

January 9, 2007 at 10:11 am
good just got better! thank you for the information.
January 9, 2007 at 3:59 pm
The great just got greater!
Now all I want is information on the pieces that the subjects are actually wearing in the street photos
January 9, 2007 at 5:56 pm
I look forward to unwinding everyday with “The Sartorialist”. I checked the blog daily, even on Christmas day, when you were a tad slow with the blog. You are awesome!!! Keep up the good work.
January 9, 2007 at 7:54 pm
As I always do, I came back today, early in the morning, looking for new posts… :((( But… where are the news?!?… I really miss them.
January 9, 2007 at 8:48 pm
Love the new sections, your biography is very inspiring.
Don’t know if it matters now, but that girl is french actor Ludivine Sagnier, in case you wanted to add that
January 9, 2007 at 11:09 pm
Love your blog! I loved the minimalist look of your blog, but the changes are great too!
January 9, 2007 at 11:46 pm
I love your blog. I especially love your videos. You bring a much needed perspective to fashion. One based on style rather than the latest “it” whatever. Thank you!
Mrs. de Winter
January 10, 2007 at 3:09 am
Great additions!Great blog, congrats!Expecting women´s suggestions
January 10, 2007 at 7:13 am
While you are in Europe, please try to track down/stalk Virginie Mouzat of “Le Figaro” – the pictures you have taken of her in the past are superlative!
January 10, 2007 at 7:35 am
Salut salut !!!Ici BRUXELLESA+++
January 10, 2007 at 8:42 am
I am so happy for you and for me as well, cause that means more Sartorialist and more übercoole people.Thumbs up for you,Andrea
January 10, 2007 at 10:00 am
Thanks Sart. You may not want to post this, but you might be interested in knowing that since I found you (through GQ) I’ve dropped my subscription to GQ! And now all the more reason.
January 10, 2007 at 10:19 am
I really agree with this:
“It would be great if on the comments page you could also see the original photo. I always have to flip back and forth so I can see what the posts are referring to.”
But I don’t think Scott has any control over that; I think it is a Blogger glitch…
January 10, 2007 at 10:59 am
as for london, i’m sure you’ll know all of the best on JErmyn Street and as for the women we hope Browns on South Moulton St gets a mention.
January 10, 2007 at 11:27 am
good just got better!thanks for the additions.
January 10, 2007 at 1:23 pm
I hope some of your previous subjects get back to you on where they got some of their objects…I know there were quite a few request to specify brands or sources…
January 10, 2007 at 1:40 pm
I’ve been a big fan since I discovered your blog several months ago. Beyond the obvious (great photos and great subjects), I’ve tried to pinpoint exactly what it is that has me so riveted to this site. I’ve finally figured it out. You are so ENTHUSIASTIC about what you do that it’s infectious! With you, we get style without the blase-ness that is usually it’s shadow.
January 10, 2007 at 2:34 pm
Fantastic. Like I didn’t spend entirely too much time on this blog already. There’s really no hope for me having a well-balanced life anymore. Thanks, Sart. :)
January 10, 2007 at 3:34 pm
fabulous images! please do include women & London in your lists…was hooked, now addicted…
January 10, 2007 at 8:09 pm
To add to the discussion about seeing the original photo on the comments page (“It would be great if on the comments page you could also see the original photo. I always have to flip back and forth so I can see what the posts are referring to” and “But I don’t think Scott has any control over that; I think it is a Blogger glitch…”), one solution might be to choose have the comments pop up as a separate smaller window instead of replacing the original page. I don’t know anything about html but I was able to select this option for my blogger site. That way, you can see the original image and the comments at the same time.
Just my 2 cents…!
January 12, 2007 at 7:44 am
Oh my god! I love the videos! The people walking…fantastic! congratulations! I love so much! Thank you… This site is my inspiration, my day is happier when i came here to see all these wonderful photos of real people that inspire me…
January 12, 2007 at 6:04 pm
Wow! I love all the new additions to the blog…they are all fabulous!
You are, deservedly..the toast of many towns :)
January 13, 2007 at 5:46 am

Good post. I learn something more challenging on completely different blogs everyday. It’ll always be stimulating to read content from other writers and follow a bit one thing from their store. I’d favor to make use of some with the content material on my blog whether or not you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing.
June 25, 2012 at 2:43 am
I like this idea, I completely with you agree.
