Stunning, interesting, sophisticated. And the colors in and composition of your photo are splendid — brown and grey minimalist as background for very subtle colors and complex patterns of the clothing. Bravo!
Oh man, those two prints together, mediated by the sold scarf and tights, are great! I love how such simple cuts can be transformed by a texture or print.
If she would only open her eyes! Or does that add to the mystery? A Beautiful look that has it all, texture, pattern, color and a great sense of proportion
I’m not so keen on the shoes. I think the heel is too high and she looks wobbly.
But I love the coat, dress and scarf. They really go together well. It’s also a big help that the woman has wonderful skin. I’d skip the clothes and just take that!
I ADORE the coat. Anyone know where it’s from? In general though, I love how she combines many subtle elegant print, texures and colors into a minimalist and still engaging whole. truly splendid
Love the clashing of the prints. The scarf not only balances the colours out, but also the proportions – otherwise, the big coat would make her small frame look too broad.
Wonderful outfit. The mix of patterns are beautiful. I wish I was like her. Hope to dress like that to the Elle awards tonigt. I think your blogg is DIVINE!
Wow. This woman is too cool for school! She’s able to mix patterns and textures in a way that doesn’t overwhelm her frame or make her look like she’s trying too hard (which I find with many people who work the multi-culti Marni look). Really beautiful.
I have a feeling Bottega will be making a big impact this season ….just because they seem to be talking very consciously about everything they have to offer besides the “interlaccio” or signature weave pattern. And since they are focusing on Lavender(my fav. color) and in unusual materials …like aged(vintage) or crushed velvet as well lavender crocodile in their bags, clothes and accessories……….I can’t wait to see it all on somebody and see how they will carry it off…I certainly cannot afford it ….especially some of the very exquisitie items like furniture pieces including writing desks …accent tables and throw pillows …beautiful beautiful beautiful just like this woman here!!!!!!!!!!!! THX SAR!!!!
I’ve never seen anything quite like this before. Her outfit is fresh, the combination gutsy yet subdued, and the expression on her face priceless. Smart smart.
All these patterns and colours together – it would be so easy to fail and look like a mismatches Cristmas Tree, but this is just perfection. I love it.
