That’s the colour of Kings.
I want that jacket.

Want that jacket, would die for those cheekbones. Absolutely gorgeous.
Love the jacket with that shirt.

the jacket is beautiful, so is the outfit. it makes me wonder though, because i don’t really understand this look, where he’s coming from style-wise. It’s funny because we all have our own set of personal rules and guidelines for what “works.”

Very interesting face
July 26, 2012 at 8:22 pm
Those are incredible cheek bones — they’re almost lying ontop of his face!
July 23, 2012 at 4:27 pm
No shortage of hipness here.
July 23, 2012 at 4:30 pm
The comoposition of the photo combined with the subject’s cold stare and his hard-edged clothing choices make him an arresting–and vaguely menacing–presence. If I were casting a film about a 1970′s hit man, I’d want him for the role.
July 30, 2012 at 6:11 am
straight out of a nick pileggi movie. perfetto!
or didn’t i see him on the D&G menswear SS13 or resort runway modeling with other scilians? if not they def need him next round.
July 23, 2012 at 4:43 pm
My first thought was the blazer is amazing, but when I saw the print of the shirt I stayed stunned!!!
July 23, 2012 at 8:53 pm
My reaction exactly: generally when one item Pops! then the outfit is out of balance, but this has that initial reaction and gradually draws you in to the rest of the outfit. Well executed! (and I want that jacket!)
July 23, 2012 at 4:45 pm
Interesting to see something other than another denim jean jacket. Like how it picks up the red in the shirt. Nice and pulled together.
July 23, 2012 at 4:46 pm
His face lines are so expressive. I find interesting the mix between the deep red of his jacket and the flower-printed shirt :)
July 23, 2012 at 4:51 pm
Truly gorgeous jacket :) I love the print with it.

I love his mouth. Those cheekbones could cut glass. Very interesting face.

Totally the 2012 version of the “Cigarette Man”
July 23, 2012 at 4:59 pm
Hey , McFly!
What a striking pattern. It really stands out against that red. Such a shame that it is accessorised with a cigarette.
July 23, 2012 at 5:02 pm
Love the shirt and jacket!
July 23, 2012 at 5:08 pm
now, That’s how to wear a print :)
[I am still devastated by the recent pajama-wearing fellow.]
also, I agree Completely with both peter & :D j’ecris.
July 23, 2012 at 5:17 pm
Fantastic shirt – Those are some incredible cheek bones!
July 23, 2012 at 5:21 pm
This man has a some of the most impressive cheekbones I have ever seen. I love the colour of his jacket, it’s definitely something I would wear. The jacket mixed with that shirt looks perfect. His hair is better groomed than mine!
P.S. I will doing a post on Sunday on my favourite blogs. I love your blog, and so I have added it to my list. If you could stop by Sunday and take a look that would be great.

Love the red jacket. So nice.
July 23, 2012 at 5:45 pm
Respect to the kind of man who can so casually work a red jacket and printed top like that.

I love the cut of the jacket

Love the colour combination… especially the jacket.
Great ensemble ;)

I love that color of red greets from Amman
July 23, 2012 at 6:04 pm
The deep red of his jacket is a great colour.
July 23, 2012 at 6:09 pm
He has a wonderful face – more character actor than leading man, but very strong. I’d die for his cheekbones! Love the cool red jacket.
July 23, 2012 at 6:10 pm
Floral print shirts now are nothing special. It’s the red in the flowers combined with the (perfectly cut) jacket that make this photo special.
July 23, 2012 at 6:13 pm
amazing pic!!! such a cool style!

Love that Red. So Beautiful!
Fascinating cheek bones a la Jack Palance. He could be a model for a painter or a sculptor, he’s got the face for it.
To me, his clothes are secondary, although I like the unusual great color of the jacket.
July 23, 2012 at 6:38 pm
The haircut is great, I now also take it. The combination of clothing wise.
July 23, 2012 at 6:45 pm
Great shot. Love the red jacket. Too bad about the smoke … not passing judgment about smoking, just my opinion about how unappealing cigarettes are to me in photos. Like, I always put my drink down or behind my back when I’m being photographed ’cause I just don’t want people to see that.

I think something is off. The print on the shirt is very nice though.
July 23, 2012 at 7:43 pm
what a great print!
July 23, 2012 at 7:44 pm
Nice coat! Love the color structure in the picture.
July 23, 2012 at 7:58 pm
Fashionable yes, yet this gentleman in earlier times would be a hit man in Hollywood films..

His name is Christopher Niquet, fashion director of L’Officiel Hommes. He was also spotted here : http://style-anywhere.com/2012/06/23/christopher-niquet/

He looks like such a sweet guy in this other picture! In fact, he seems to be the complete opposite of the man in the Sartorialist image.
July 24, 2012 at 5:58 pm
Indeed interesting: he is wearing the same clothes, but the whole impression is very different. Here, he looks dark, sad, actually a bit ill.
The outfit is… interesting. Not my cup of tea though. As usual, the photo itself is very good.
July 23, 2012 at 8:07 pm
I really like this look.
July 23, 2012 at 9:35 pm
ottimi colori per un perfetto pomeriggio milanese…
interessante la giacca, simile nel volume e nel taglio alle ultime della casa Valentino
la camicia interna contrasta ma riprende sia il pantalone che la giacca, carino il gioco sul suo tessuto.

Was banging my head on the desk trying to think of who he reminded me of. Can stop now. Both head and desk thank you.

Your welcome, and thank you–for reminding me–he rather exudes The Style Council than The Jam…same lead singer, though !

That jacket is a beautiful colour, and it really works with the pattern on the shirt. That guy’s got some serious cheekbones too!
July 24, 2012 at 12:52 pm
yep, you could slice meat with those cheekbones, and the whole look is sharper than a bucket of razor blades.
July 24, 2012 at 4:49 pm
Nice jacket and shirt!
July 24, 2012 at 5:13 pm
Printed shirt + color jacket + black pants… It´s genious!! I´m loving it. So simple but so incredibly great!
July 24, 2012 at 6:23 pm
great. just great
July 24, 2012 at 7:26 pm
I feel that he could cut me with those cheekbones!
July 24, 2012 at 10:53 pm
My daughter and I were just staying there — he looks totally like the neighorhood!
July 25, 2012 at 12:54 am
In presenting great personal style or fashion the cigarette might seem as an accessory. As such, it’s very unglamorous. Visually it looks like part of the outfit like a piece of smoking jewelry. One feels that the smoke should be put out. It’s a respiratory health hazard that has nothing to do with sartorialism.
July 25, 2012 at 2:25 am
Oh my goodness his cheekbones!

Dear Mr. S,
This is the most compelling photo u took so far. I live in Italy, and this is some cutting edge photography. I think you should take more photos like this. Real people look like this. I think glamour is great, but true beauty is timeless, and you know how to capture it.
