Blue Floppy Hat
February 20, 2007 at 11:58 pm
It honestly looks amazing… a lot of people rag on girls who opt for the Heidi do but it always looks a little unexpected (and interesting) no matter what you’ve got on with it- whether it’s a fancy dress a la Sienna Miller, or something completely casual like this.

I feel like I just saw that hairstyle at fashion week show, maybe from last season. Does anyone else know which one I’m referring to?
February 21, 2007 at 12:41 am
Gosh, that’s gorgeous. I wonder if the braid is really her hair?
February 21, 2007 at 12:49 am
Sienna Miller had her hair up in Heidi braids during the Golden Globes and she was lambasted by the press. This lady fares so much better…I think it’s because hers itsn’t too slicked back (which can give one a headache at times), as if she spent half the day fixing it. All in all, brava!

The way you have captured the light on her hair makes her look almost angelic…beautiful shot and beautiful girl.
February 21, 2007 at 2:07 am
I have the same dress…But not the same hair!!I love it!!Angie.
February 21, 2007 at 2:34 am
It’s just lovely!!!
February 21, 2007 at 2:49 am

Another Great captured Moment
February 21, 2007 at 5:33 am
I use to wear my hair in that way quite often, but her look is really beautiful! It’s not easy to get that “wool-look”. God, now I almost want to dye my hair in that white-blonde color again…
February 21, 2007 at 5:51 am
angie where did you get this dress? i just need to know to sleep well
February 21, 2007 at 6:58 am
She looks gorgeous! Great shot!!!
February 21, 2007 at 7:25 am
perhaps only blondes can sport this ‘do? as a brunette – i’m thinking the braid in chocolate brown may not exude such charm as in goldenrod blonde?
sart – lighting couldn’t be more perfect – kudos!
February 21, 2007 at 7:27 am
That is one gorgeous photograph.
February 21, 2007 at 8:22 am
amazing. i love the messy part of it – like she just threw it up in a second…instead of taking an hour to fix her hair. beautiful. and i agree with ‘calm.cool.collected’ – she does look very angelic in that lighting. great eye, scott!
February 21, 2007 at 8:42 am
Beautiful. The hair looks great and as anonymous said this pulls it off much better than Sienna Miller who was pilloried for it….but Miller was on to something wasn’t she? I guess I’m wondering if the look is more heidi or angelic.
February 21, 2007 at 9:46 am
thanks for searching…it was well worth it. charming haircut indeed!
February 21, 2007 at 10:31 am
ooh that hear! she looks like a grown up version of heidi! i loooove it!!
February 21, 2007 at 11:28 am
Positive_negative, I saw that kind of hair at Bottega Veneta, yesterday.

One of your best portraits… she looks angelic
February 21, 2007 at 1:43 pm
It looks so baby fine.
positively the same dame
February 21, 2007 at 1:52 pm
i can never see a braid without immediately flashing on scenes from “the bad seed, and when i saw sienna miller’s do all i could think was that she seemed to be trying too hard to be a trendsetter to actually succeed at it. were i capable of an objective opinion however i’d say that this is lovely.
February 21, 2007 at 3:16 pm
i love the messy look and the braid adds interest – its a great shot, she looks like a cheeky goddess/angel.
February 21, 2007 at 3:56 pm
Thanks Carolina! Bottega Venetta is one of my favorite lines- I knew I had seen it somewhere!
February 21, 2007 at 4:27 pm
I agree with anon. It looks great on light-haired blondes. It’s a great look with couture or vintage floral dresses of chiffon or gauze.
fashion me this
February 21, 2007 at 4:40 pm
the lighting makes her look so etheralshe pulls it off wellprobably because of her face shape and bone structure.I like how the hair’s a bit messy and rumpled
February 21, 2007 at 5:19 pm
Il vestito e di Marni da questa stagione. E veramente un amore….
February 21, 2007 at 5:50 pm
You’re a confessed stalker – but who could blame you – she’s hot and I’m in love . . . .
February 21, 2007 at 6:51 pm
Zara has a very very -if is not the same- dress

February 21, 2007 at 9:49 pm
i feel like sienna miller would bring this hairstyle back…
she did, at the golden globes.
February 21, 2007 at 10:19 pm
well i’m glad you waited to post this because it’s absolute perfection – the light is breathtaking, and doesn’t hurt that she’s beautiful too.
this is an amazing shot. i’m going to try (and likely fail) this look.
February 21, 2007 at 11:31 pm
charlotte ronson also did heidi braids at her FW show in new york
February 21, 2007 at 11:55 pm
this reminds me of Kirsten Dunst in Marie Antoinette!
February 22, 2007 at 5:32 am
You know that it’s just a headband of braided hair, right?
This is the first time I’ve actually seen it look decent although anyone can do this…especially with the “bed head “/”just got out of bed” look.

February 22, 2007 at 12:10 pm
She had the same hair for days?
February 22, 2007 at 2:36 pm
This is my good friend and neighbor Daniela. You should know that she is always this beautiful. Lovely photo–thanks for making my day!
February 22, 2007 at 3:24 pm
When you say that you’ve been trying to get a shot of her hair for the past two days, it makes it sound like she’s been wearing it like that for the past two days.
February 22, 2007 at 3:26 pm
So right on!
Heidi hair should not be pooh-poohed. What other style can young girls and older ladies wear, confident they will look pretty and polished?
This young woman nails her place in life by wearing it messy.
February 22, 2007 at 9:44 pm
She is just gorgeous and Suprise! she has a profile! Amazing. My understanding is that one has to travel to Europe to find women with profiles now, as they have been outlawed in America. Blonde with a sideview. Isn’t that against the law in the US? Keep those Roman noses coming, Sart.
February 24, 2007 at 12:38 am
This was originally done by Yulia Tymoshenko, a Ukranian billionaire/politician a year or two ago. It’s amazing how fashion comes from the most random places, to Sienna, to now.
As you can see, messy does it right.
February 25, 2007 at 1:35 pm
That hairstyle: Galliano, Valentino? Irretating it’s on the tip of my tong!
February 28, 2007 at 6:26 am
Oh, I’m in love with her hair! (L)
March 1, 2007 at 7:51 am
SHE IS AN ANGEL
March 28, 2007 at 2:22 pm
beautiful. i’d sure like to be there when she lets it down…
April 17, 2009 at 10:14 pm
She looks like a Botticelli painting. Lovely to the core.
