I love this type of style — when a woman can look so sexy with her tattoos and still be feminine. I think because it’s so opposite my look, but it would be so fun to look like this for a day!

Black is so gorgeous always!
I love black and I use it quite a lot in my outfits…although white wins some protaginism in summer.

I love beautiful tattoos. I love the expression in her eyes. beautiful! thank you!

Goodness the next generation is going to looked at this generation with their fading tattoos and think ‘ How awful , just what possessed them to do it?!’

It seems that she has as much sass and attitude as the goat type thing tattooed on her arm. I can’t understand what persuades people to get tattoos, but it makes for an interesting picture.
July 15, 2012 at 5:32 pm
She looks so cute. Love her tatoos
July 15, 2012 at 5:34 pm
Woww nice picuture, she looks beautiful:)
July 15, 2012 at 5:36 pm
The thing about tattoos is that they aren’t an expression of the person displaying them, but an expression of the person who created them.
Who wants to be a walking canvas for someone else’s ideas? Not me.
July 16, 2012 at 2:34 pm
July 17, 2012 at 6:29 pm
it’s definitely an expression of the wearer…tattoo artists are not just going around and putting things on people randomly against their will…WE choose the image WE wish to carry on us…and in some cases, do the actual drawing…as someone who has a large amount of tattoos and in very visible places, they are an expression of me and what I wish to visually represent…after the tattoo is done, the artist isn’t walking around with me all day to take credit…it’s all me and all my expression…
July 18, 2012 at 12:39 pm
Well said, Laura.
July 18, 2012 at 3:11 pm
I second. I also am covered and quite frankly VERY feminine. I choose every single tattoo with love and meaning. TATTOOS are not accessories they are an expression of the wearer. I get so tired of explaining to people that ARE NOT tattooed that we don’t “match” our ink to our clothes nor care that someone considers them unsightly. THAT is the difference between one that truly knows the art versus someone that wants one to be “on trend”. Please spare us, for the generation before us had them and those that have ones that are faded and blurred…still love them. Besides, how worried are you going to be about your looks when you’re 60+….
July 20, 2012 at 10:25 pm
Then why do you wear clothing by designers? That is walking around wearing someone else’s vision, art and ideas.
And for me anyway, the tattoos on my body are my ideas, rendered visual by someone with a talent for making art on skin.
July 15, 2012 at 5:38 pm
Wow, great photo. The simplicity of the shot allows the colours of her tattoo to pop in the photo.
July 15, 2012 at 5:45 pm
She is so beautiful!!! nice tatoos
That’s a clean tattoo–I wonder where she got inked..

Tattoos are becoming such a familiar language in the street style dialogue, it’s really cool to see how some people are actually using their tattoos to add to their outfits or to use them as permanent accessories in their look.

it’s so hipnotic. she isn’t that beauty but her tattoos are amazing, it makes me addicted
Tattoos always seem so dark, but I like the face.
July 15, 2012 at 6:22 pm
I don’t like tattoos but this portrait is awsome ! Strong face, beautiful eyes, charming pout and her skin is gorgeous, let’s not forget the bustier top that shows her tattos very stylishly.
July 15, 2012 at 6:26 pm
I believe her Tats will remain her lifetime accessories, This girl can pass with such hair cut and any plain color :)
July 15, 2012 at 6:32 pm
Love the line of her neck!

I don’t normally like tattoos either, but this girl makes them look chique.

@ Becca, quote: “Who wants to be a walking canvas for someone else’s ideas? Not me.”
You must not wear any clothes, then? All clothing is somebody else’s idea, let alone hair cuts, makeup, etc… ;o)
I quite like these tattoos; they fit her aura very well.
July 16, 2012 at 3:55 pm
Ah, but clothes are easily exchanged and manipulated.
I don’t mind being a clothes hanger for someone’s creation, but I can change them whenever I want to. A tattoo is more permanent.

Gorgeous girl, great shot, perfect tattoos. Nothing wrong here.
Love the tattoo its beautiful!
July 15, 2012 at 10:43 pm
Beautiful face and hair, and lovely ink. Great attitude! AAAA! I want to CUT MY HAIR but I am too scared… Look how pretty short hair can be. i may be the only one, but I think its MORE feminine then long hair.
July 15, 2012 at 10:55 pm
@ Jo; You missed some thinking, hon. Tattoos have been around forever. Do you honestly think that people who get tattoos have absolutely no idea what fading tattoos look like on older people? They know exactly, and they think its good. You are probably the same kind of person that wrings their hands seeing an older woman baring her legs because GOSH!!! She has a WRINKLE on her knees which MUST BE HIDDEN! Oh noes! Hiding evidence of aging is really not a hallmark of growing old gracefully. That same thinking goes for somehow being ashamed of faded tattoos on less then youthful flesh. It still looks good. Just not quite as good as when you are twenty. Just like everything else. And younger people have been getting tattoos after having seen them on older people forever.
July 16, 2012 at 12:28 pm
My thoughts exactly! (regarding the reply)

July 16, 2012 at 1:24 am
A tattoo is not like buying a dress, it’s deeper; it is deeper than fashion and very personal. You know when you get it that one day it will be faded, the skin may sag…you know all of this, but you know it’s ok… I think many people do not understand this, but that’s ok too; the world is full of difference…thank god!
oh, and for the person that said the tattoo is just someone else’s creation on your body; it’s not really, it is an artist’s work, but it is more like a commissioned piece, just for you. You ask the artist for something and together you choose; it’s a lovely process. It’s like I had Picasso draw a picture just for me, on MY BODY! I would not want to only have things on my body that I created, I would draw terrible tattoos!
This picture is amazing; I love her sleek hair, her nose and that little pout…it’s also beautifully lit. perfect!

When you’re twenty years old you may understand, based on the abundant evidence around you, that you will grow old, but you don’t comprehend it, and thus imagine that you will somehow be immune from mounting devastations of aging. I’ve been told that Nora Ephron once wrote, “If I knew then what I know now, I’d had worn a bikini every day when I was seventeen,” or word to that effect.

I envy women who can pull off the sleek boyish haircut.
July 16, 2012 at 5:17 am
wow, what a tattoo!
July 16, 2012 at 6:14 am
She is gorgeous. Perhaps she will still love her tattoos in 30 years time, but I can’t imagine wearing exactly the same anything forever. Removing them is expensive, painful & not totally effective and they do blur badly. I would disagree that people of any age all consider the consequences of their actions as rationally as suggested above, especially long term consequences. If that were so our attitudes to alcohol, drugs, sun exposure, savings etc would be very different
July 16, 2012 at 6:36 am
I love the photo – and wish I could ‘do’ that hair! Is also really really wish I could see the rest of her body/outfit :D I also wondered what her tattoos meant to her……
imagine my surprise when someone stated that tattoos are only the expression of the tattooist. I have many tattoos and they all have meaning and purpose for me only and for a period in my life.
I also view my older tattoos done 12 years ago with as much fondness as my brighter new ones.

nice drawing, this goat tattoo. though to me it seems a bit straightlined and heavy for her arm – a bit too much.
it’s surprising to see so many tattoos in these photos lately, especially when you consider how quickly most people get bored with their clothes and accessories. apparently more and more people feel the need for something permanent in their lives.
anyway… let’s hope this girl will love her goat and whatever else she’s had inked in for life.

There does appear to be an aura-tattoo synergy; especially, with her deep dark eyes gazing-out over those lightning bolts.

Interesting conversations about tatoos. People are so polarized on the issue. Love them or hate them, there is no middle. I think she is a pretty girl, but it’s hard to see her face beyond the tatoo.
July 16, 2012 at 1:52 pm

I liked this photo although whether I liked the tattoos or not, I couldn’t say. The photo certainly shows them off to great effect, as well as the bustier she is wearing. I can’t always say that tattoos look great with everything, though.

I love this picture! The short hair and tattoos compliment her perfectly!
July 18, 2012 at 6:30 pm
Well done, my dear! Amazing shot.
But I’m ashamed that everyone is mistaking your tattoo for a goat or something.
It seems this will be your “curse”.
People got too much focused on your inked skin, instead of your beauty and the shot itself.
Your outfit was stunning, but I’ve already told you that day.
December 28, 2012 at 9:21 pm
What IS the tattoo of? I think it’s beautiful.
