Very retro and yet edgy, one has to be rather daring to wear an outfit with huge chillis on it. She completely pulls it off though, with her sexy, I-don’t-really-care attitude. Love this girl!

EEEK! I have a dress with the same pattern. Just got it as a gift, and I haven’t had a chance to wear it yet. Well, maybe today is the day! :)
Her’s is beautiful.

Love it! It’s a great photograph. The colors, the style, great. Also, I go by that street every day almost. Good to have you in Milan. Cheers.

she looks really incredible!
What I love about this shot is how 1950s it looks. The hair is healthy, shiny and full and makes this woman look 10 years younger. The sunglasses are retro…and the outfit is straight out of the 1950s…easy to sew too. It would be so comfortable in the hot hot weather we’re having in the U.S. Finally, that bag? Perfect size for a knitting WIP!

Nice shadow and light.

This was such a fun collection by Dolce and Gabbana! I like how she complemented the 50s silhouette with 50s Sykes hair, matching red lippie and cateye sunglasses, then dressed it right down with those simple flat sandals…not the usual choice of footwear worn with Birkins.
June 25, 2012 at 9:21 am
She is so beautifly dressed! I’ve never seen a print like this :)
my fave part of this outfit is her cat-sunglasses xx
June 25, 2012 at 9:23 am
The skirt and top are artistic and sophisticated, but also sexy. She’s kind of an Eva Mendes look-a-like, which is fitting, all things consider.

Adore the print. Fifties feeling, yet also so modern, perfect!

June 25, 2012 at 9:31 am
Ahhhh….Dolce & Gabbana perfection!!! Such a happy print and she looks great in it!! Her hair, sunglasses, bag, but especially how she wore it with flat sandals as opposed to a heel, makes this a quintessential summer outfit!!! So feminine!! Truly a “HOT PEPPER”!!! LOL!!!
June 25, 2012 at 9:32 am
this is perfection.
I love chillies. This lady has made me love them even more. Beautiful….Just waiting for Cary Grant to turn up, she’s got that Sophia Luaren / Cary grant movie look going on. Well to me she has anyway :)
June 25, 2012 at 9:36 am
this outfit is amazing!
June 25, 2012 at 9:38 am
I love the vibrancy of this outfit, such a classic shot. And a Birkin to top it all off!
Love the dress, of course.

WOW. I don’t usually like the bralette look, but it works so perfectly here! her sunglasses and hair are perfect.
June 25, 2012 at 9:43 am
What a bold outfit, I love it! :)
This woman looks so gorgeous, like an old hollywood star. Unfortunately, I won’t be wearing midi skirts this summer, because I live in Berlin, where people stopyou on the street and tell you, ”Nice outfit, but you shouldn’t be wearing something more ghetto?” Unbelievable.
June 25, 2012 at 9:44 am
That dress is amazing…everything from the pattern to the cutout to the silhouette. Perfect! Beautiful photo!
June 25, 2012 at 9:49 am

This chili-pepper skirt/top outfit is delightful. The full skirt and cropped top evoke a wonderful 50s-era Italian resort glamour. Her styling is superb with the cat-eye sunglasses and flat sandals.
June 25, 2012 at 9:56 am

June 25, 2012 at 10:07 am
What a hot tamale! (pun totally intended) But seriously, I love the subtle 50s glam attitude this photo exudes but she still has her personality & a touch of sex appeal infused in her outfit! Perfection!
June 25, 2012 at 10:11 am
Palpable. The heat, the sun, the fabric, her youth. Looking at this photograph makes me physically understand I am no longer a young woman. I will never wear a dress like that again. But she is so adorable, it’s a pleasure to look at. There is an entire story in it.
June 25, 2012 at 10:20 am
What I like the most about this woman is her hair! gorgeus and shiny!
I love this D&G outfit! The colors and natural pose makes this photo beautifully interesting!!

June 25, 2012 at 10:39 am
this look is perfect.
June 25, 2012 at 10:40 am
A sexy halter top and then a dowdy skirt–the synergy created is hotter than the chili peppers!
June 25, 2012 at 10:41 am
This is 1950 italian style. This woman reminds me of the movie stars of that era, down to the vespa (minus the phone.)
She is beautiful and the Hermes is a nice modern touch.

My fav D&G print ever and worn with the perfect hair, sunglasses and sandals. Maybe I would have chosen another bag besides the big Birkin?

When I first saw this dress from Dolce & Gabbana I wasn’t sure how it could be worn for everyday but she really pulls it off! I like the hairstyle and the lips match perfectly! So chic!

June 25, 2012 at 11:44 am
my goodness! so cute!! the shoes seem a tiny bit unsophisticated for the outfit she makes it work anyhow!
June 25, 2012 at 11:52 am
Chiles are red hot!
June 25, 2012 at 11:55 am
Absolutely stunning… and then you get to those shoes – dear goddd – anything but those old-lady sandals!!! They might be some hip designer, but they look like crap. So many alternatives that aren’t high heels… sad… and otherwise she seems to know what she’s doing… maybe she needs an intervention – a SHOE intervention.
June 25, 2012 at 11:58 am
I am in a red mood today… One more reason to be in love with your picture!!

her full chili pepper skirt.
Brilliant. Se pique! Se quema!
June 25, 2012 at 1:37 pm
The birkin’s a lovely bag, but it always leads to t-rex arm. Eternal problem with bags that rest in the crook of your arm.
I like to think this is why Starbucks is so popular; women with crook-of-arm bags needed a latte to hold.

She is quite sure of herself!
This is the kind of outfit that only a woman who was quite confident would wear out on the streets.
Even though I am not a big fan of the whole showing off part of your stomach thing, I do like the skirt and the bold prints.
The thing that I really like though is her hair, it looks so healthy and shiny and the way she is wearing it to the side, that color. loveeeeeeeee it.

Adore this classy, throw-back look. Also loved it on Dree Hemingway ;)
June 25, 2012 at 6:34 pm
I do like the pattern and the style of this dress!
And now for something completely different: I don’t know how you travel from Firenze to Milano, but I think by train, because it’s only 2 hours away. I would highly recommend Italo; I’ve been living in Italy for 5 months now, and have travelled with both Italo and the Freccia. I can tell Italo has way better service, wifi is easier to use, prices are lower, and the train is more comfortable!

Yes, so Sophia Loren in a 50′s or 60′s film. Love it. The hair, lipstick, dress and sun. And the flats instead of heels is so natural sexy, effortless elegance. Great shot!
June 25, 2012 at 11:22 pm
The shoes, toenails, and bag are not optimal, but she’s so fine-looking, all is forgiven. Her + that dress = magical.
June 25, 2012 at 11:27 pm

Oh My God! This woman is female personified. This is one of my favourites EVER and makes me proud to be a woman. (Never to achieve this magnificence but proud to be of the same gender!).

Such a fantasy when you are able to see real life princesses who are blessed with both beauty and the means to accouter themselves in complete designer finery with apparently little care in the world for cost.

She looks fantastic. The shoes are just right: anything “nicer” would make the outfit look over-thought and costume-y. As is, she looks earthy, grounded, and sexy.

She looks really cool and pretty – fashionable without being a victim, despite the obvious Dolce ensemble – but I think the Birkin spoils this look. I would have liked to have seen a wicker basket. But she looks gorgeous, bag or no bag!

Like the ’60s flair very much. Im a straight guy who loves when the ladies show some skin, but I think this dress would have looked better with a covered midriff.
