You use the light perfectly in this shot : the soft and blurry background, the “studed” wall behind the girl, her shot of black, then the subtile light over her ankles and through the water bottles . Perfect photo.
I like all the hints about who she might be. The press passes in the pocket. The camera in the backpack. She could just be a street kid if it weren’t for that expensive phone.
Perhaps it’s time we create a pronoun for a 3rd gender. I’m almost convinced this person is male but maybe not. His/her style is ok enough but the question this picture is raising in my mind is, how important is it to immediately determine another’s gender group?
It’s classical yet modern, all at the same time. As if the photo was taken years ago but you know that its recent because of the modern tech props. Weird|love it.

Standard East London garb, I’m wearing a fairly identical outfit right now. The hat and studs are a nice departure from the norm though.

The studded detail of that jacket is great. Personally, I prefer when accents of that nature enhance the minimalism, rather than overwhelm it.
