Thank YOU. I cannot say enough about how your work has empowered me on so many levels. I am not at all computer savvy and am generally frightened of the internet. Doing the video was such a huge, huge thing. One of my professors keeps telling me, “look at yourself on camera etc.” (because more and more classes are going to be filmed and online and you have to be comfortable [with the lens trained on you] with your image.) So sending you and Garance my heartfelt congratulations was one way of overcoming that fear! You and Garance looked so glamorous last night, can’t wait to see the whole event! But Thank you! Thank you! I meant what I said in the video about your capturing the spiritual connection between people and the clothes they wear…you guys are so deserving of this award–congratulations!
It’s already been said, but I must echo – beautiful and touching video. Maybe you can make a longer one with the complete submissions of many of your fans. I could watch it for hours. I’m in tears – the idea that you can mean so much to so many people in so many different places must be an incredible feeling!
