This is very 1990′s except back then the denim jacket would be sized to be a little longer and fall past the shoulder. In that way I think I prefer the real 1990′s but the colors in this version are good.
I kinda dig this look. My only sticking points are the jacket: I prefer he had taken a magic market to that denim and written graffiti or drawn all over it, like I did to mine in the fourth grade, circa 1973; that was The street style in NYC back then, and that tie belt– too cloying for attention.
Love Docs that height. If the jacket were a little bigger & the tie a little older/more raggedy the look would be even better, in my eyes. (Monsieur M–or he could have painted a portrait of Marilyn Monroe on the back of the jacket… )
New serie ? Young men ‘s back … The one with the “marcel” against a wall was really stunning ! I made a link between the woman in HK (the fatal one) with the super super portrait in NYC (same long hair cut) but so different soul and mood ! Sorry for my english !
Oh my god, do they still wear patches on their jackets?! I find it weird, maybe because it reminds me my teen period. But on him it looks great!
Perhaps I should start chaning my mind on the subject….! :-)
Nice color scheme here. The red shoes bring out the design on the back of the jacket. This look is different and interesting, but it works. Check out http://www.donkordesigns.com
Great photo.. so much information, and from the back.. love the tie on the hip and the D’s. Beautiful muted color composition… leaves me wondering who (s)he is….:)

I will forever associate the one-leg-up-one-leg-down look with LL Cool J. This is a nice modern twist, even if it happened by accident. :)
