I really like the coat from Milan – the collar detail is very stylish. The Parisian gentleman looks so ‘precise’ in his styling, seems he has paid intricate detail to every single component of his look. (Love his bag.)

The paris outfit is a bit too much for me, although I appreciate the effort he made to look his best.He is wearing a great scarf and coat (sans fur please), and great shoes. The bag I would remove (what´s inside?). Besides these details, he looks sharp and prosperous.
Thanks Sart for choosing so many different fashion statements so we can appreciate style without prejudices.

Re Monsieur Paris, can’t feature the fur; putting aside my discomfort with fur in general, its use here seems gratuitous.

Parisian men are more dandy. Italian men are more conservative.

Would have loved a NYC look on the list.f

Love the coordinated color on the bag and shoes on the Parisian gentleman. And the details on his coat are amazing. I love the row of buttons that go all the way up to his collar. Fabulous coat.

I agree with Alice, the Parisian looks quite precise. But I do like the sum of his outift, and the scarf is beautiful.

I was in Milan about 1 month ago and the uniform for men was a version of this coat – a shaped chesterfield – very fitted and in black or navy. It looked great mixed with the swagger of Milanese men.

And the Paris coat shot reminds me of a Helmut Newton pic of 70′s women’s YSL. The cigarette, the fur collar coat, the ‘maquillage’…

For some reason, when I scrolled down really quickly across the man from Milan it looked like Dustin Hoffman. And that’s not such a bad thing!

The gentleman in the wonderful navy coat is Franco Minucci. He has a lovely shop in Florence and is regarded as a style leader in Japan. He has featyred in the blog before and I hope will again

Snr. Minucci owns a very nice menswear shop “Tie Your Tie”. He features extensively in both Mens Ex and Leon the two main men’s style magazines in Japan

the guy on the upper photo should wear the fur on his head, he looks like a modernday vampire.the gentleman on the lower photo has the right jacket for his silvery hair, did you want to juxtapose outre against subtle elegance in these photos?
