Oh, what a lovely moment you’ve captured!
Would love to see the woman’s expression as she’s being photographed!! What’s their relationship? Why is he so close up!?

Spring coats are so cute! http://trescic.wordpress.com/2012/04/14/bollicine/

A cool moment you captured there!
May 10, 2012 at 4:14 pm
What does that guy with the camera so close to the girl? The photo is very nice. A very interesting situation, the kind that you meet on the street especially when there are tourists.

Nice photo, that’s original (a photographer photographing a photographer who’s photographing someone!)

Great pic! It’s like, hello Mr. Photographer, if you are looking for stylish people, did you not notice you look uber cool? — Royal Purple & Navy beats Caramel & Charcoal trend to one!

Great camel coat!!!
May 10, 2012 at 4:26 pm
This is such an amazing photo!
I just can’t stop looking at it. Lucky shot!

The perfect candid shot, from one street photographer of another.
May 10, 2012 at 4:36 pm
I like all the colors together : navy, grey, camel and the colours in the background, but this is too close for comfort. This young lady is courageous.

such a nice shot to see :D

The photographer is more stylish than the model…
May 10, 2012 at 4:56 pm
camel again? it’s seems to be a trend…still :)
May 10, 2012 at 5:02 pm
Indead a really stylish photographer! Really fun picture!
May 10, 2012 at 5:03 pm

May 10, 2012 at 5:14 pm
So amazing!!! It´s so cool!
May 10, 2012 at 5:16 pm

May 10, 2012 at 5:35 pm
So that is how it’s done! A peer to a seemingly instant shot.
May 10, 2012 at 5:37 pm
What’s that quilt-y thing that guy is wearing? It looks interesting.

what a fun photo!
May 10, 2012 at 6:02 pm
Just at the good time !
May 10, 2012 at 6:32 pm
Is the guy wearing a waffled apron? Did he take a break from delivering pizzas to snap a photo or what?
May 10, 2012 at 6:52 pm
love this photo. shows the perfect reality. he’s got some funky style.. visit my new blog.
May 10, 2012 at 7:12 pm
He was a subject…. still not a fan of his style.
May 10, 2012 at 7:21 pm
Great moment you captured here!
May 10, 2012 at 8:06 pm
Aw – so cute. :) He kind of looks like a fashion disaster, but I’m loving her tres chic ensemble.
May 10, 2012 at 8:10 pm
I love this candid shot- and it tells a story. Amazing!
May 10, 2012 at 8:16 pm
Layers layers layers.
May 10, 2012 at 8:58 pm
What an incredibly fun shot! And…an amazing contrast of styles too!
May 10, 2012 at 10:29 pm
Are we really saying that his style is better than hers? I swear, no matter the photo, somebody will think its fantastic. The photographer in this shot is a fashion disaster. Just because its unusual doesn’t make it great. Sometimes unusual is just bad.
May 10, 2012 at 11:52 pm
was there someone taking a picture of you? ;)
May 11, 2012 at 12:24 am
I wonder what she looks like…

His expression is, as they say in these parts, just precious.
And, oddly enough, I was thinking about shoes like hers just the other day–I had a pair in junior high & really liked them. Need to be on the lookout for something like them now…
May 11, 2012 at 2:37 am
So funny !!!
May 11, 2012 at 4:12 am
I still don’t understand that Japanese Street Style (I see it now so often)…? :/
May 11, 2012 at 5:31 am
Fantastic moment – great picture and the men’s outfit is certainly eye-catching.
May 11, 2012 at 6:05 am
Successfully captured the moment. Picture is natural, it is not staging. It is gorgeous!
May 11, 2012 at 6:26 am
Love the hat.
When are you coming to Sydney?!
May 11, 2012 at 7:22 am
He is trying WAY too hard lol
May 11, 2012 at 8:21 am
May 11, 2012 at 8:45 am
I like the smirk on his face!
May 11, 2012 at 9:26 am
Some people hate one’s style, and others are obsessed with the style, that how every fashion started:) Comme des Garcon and etc. Gordo, you don’t have to decide which is better.. Just enjoy the difference of people and their own approaches to fashion.
May 11, 2012 at 10:08 am
The delight he shows in photographing that woman is the mark of a warm-hearted individual. He would have kind words for the commenters who belittle his style.
May 11, 2012 at 11:47 am
Scott always knows exactly WHAT to take a photo of .
May 11, 2012 at 12:42 pm
Indeed! Nothing like a closeup.

This picture makes me laugh a little.
May 11, 2012 at 5:50 pm
I agree that there is some humor in this shot. Its also kind of sweet, too. She seems very patient with him. Great pic!
May 11, 2012 at 7:48 pm
Love it! It takes a little gumption to ask a complete stranger to take their photo -and so close! Of course, you probably know this..:)

great photo of a person taking a photo. I guess there are others photographing great fashion too ;)
May 12, 2012 at 6:53 pm
he has my attention. a little too complicated for me (would like it better if the pieces were better tailored or of less structured fabrics) but it is is fantastic enough to love!

Great photo as always… something very comical about it: the guy taking a closeup a bit too close? hope his camera can focus… the subject seems very serious also…

i’m guessing he’s using fish-eye lens, which explains the closeness to the subject

RYO SAN IS THE BEST! WHILE THIS PICTURE PORTRAYS AN OVERLY COMPLEX STYLE, IF YOU WERE TO MEET RYO, YOU’D KNOW THAT HE’S HANDS-DOWN ONE OF THE MOST STYLISH YOUNG MEN IN NYC–HE HAS AN AMAZING ENSEMBLE OF COLLECTED VINTAGE ITEMS THAT FIT EVERY MOOD AND AESTHETIC AND IS ALMOST CHAMELEON-LIKE, AT TIMES, WHICH LEADS TO A DUALITY–HE DOESN’T LIVE ONE AESTHETIC STORY, WHICH COULD BE CONSTRUED NEGATIVELY, BUT IS INDEED QUITE ADEPT AT A RANGE OF MORE AVANT-GARDE LOOKS. I’M ALWAYS HAPPY TO SEE THE MAN BEHIND OTAMAYIM B DIPPER.
May 22, 2012 at 7:32 am
What the hell is he wearing
May 23, 2012 at 8:11 am
a good contrast :]
