the last photo. the back of that coat! And those sleeves. Volume at its best. There’s something unusually graceful about it.

in the last photo, i saw that EXACT same coat on a lady that was walking in front of me in chelsea this past weekend, and was MESMERIZED! so cute in this photo, and even cuter in person.
does anyone know who designed that coat?

I love the MJ dress on the actress in the first picture! I thought about getting it for prom, but decided it would make me look washed-out.
March 28, 2007 at 12:34 pm

The black tights with the beige sandals – is this now a trend? I have decided to try it out very soon, perhaps for the first of May. It has a tickling feeling of being totally out and sneekily in at the same time, and it keeps your toes warm.
March 28, 2007 at 2:56 pm
I think the coat is Stella McCartney – I’ve wanted it forever …
March 28, 2007 at 3:00 pm
I just can’t get with light shoes and dark tights. Very Minnie Mouse.
March 28, 2007 at 3:32 pm
i love that coat!
March 28, 2007 at 3:38 pm
The first photo is absolutely marvelous. She is so working the camera and that dress. She knows how to pose in a seated position too. You just have to look at the other photo to appreciate the delicate art of “modeling”.

Sart, may I request that you include NO MORE than three photos per posting because I think some photos get lost in the shuffle when comments are made.
Obviously, the best and the worst photos get all the attention and those in between are ignored.

Anon 2:44: I’ve been wearing the tights with high sandals thing, and the only thing I can say is get anti-slip pads, otherwise you develop excruciating blisters on the balls of your feet.

I was watching fashion tv today, and this blog was featured while these photographs were being taken.
beautiful pictures of obviously beautiful people, but I think the fact that they are captured on film makes the subjects more appealing- had I seen these people in the street I would be less likely to turn my head.
April 30, 2007 at 9:18 am
The first dress is Philosophy di Alberta Ferretti and I bought mine in a gorgeous chocolate brown in the NY store in soho… Absolutley Fabulous!!!

I think the girl in the first picture is Katie Saunders. I used to go to school with her in Rome. She was pretty then, stunning and elegant now…
September 5, 2009 at 10:45 am
Yes, it is katy saunders. I was at school with her too! its great how make up artists and beautiful clothes can really transform your look. However real stunning girls can get away with barely there makeup and high street clothes and still look a million dollars no?!!!! funny no?
August 14, 2011 at 7:43 pm
