she looks so gorgeous! loving her outfit. wish i saw more like her when i was still in hong kong last week.
Loving the loose fit of both the shirt and pants, and how she still manages to make the outfit look feminine and quirky with this beautiful red colour and the super high heels. Ah Hong Kong girls!
May 2, 2012 at 9:13 am
Love this, definitely going to try to recreate this look.

Love the combination of those Charlotte Olympia Heels and the bright trousers, so striking and fun.
White, red and green but not Italian… A surprisingly attractive combination. Proof that white shirts can never go wrong.:)
Gorgeous!! Love you hair. And the outfit is perfect, love everything in it!!

So happy to begin seeing lots of color on the streets! Featuring a pretty colorful outfit today on my blog too! [http://www.akeytothearmoire.com/post/22250110515/tropical-slush]
I love the clear Furla bags, they’re so fun! Such a simple outfit, but the materials match well, and the watermelon pink with the light green of the sandals tie it together very well.
Thanks for posting!

May 2, 2012 at 10:48 am
I love the satiny sheen of the pants.I wonder what fabric it is? Ultimately though, it is this woman’s hair is what truly makes her stand out.
While those shoes aren’t made for walking….and the rest of the look is simple in color…it is very sharp. Strikes a great pose.
May 2, 2012 at 10:54 am
Beautiful photo. It makes me want to go to Tokyo to make “street style”.
Good post, Scott.

Loving this loose silhouette! And I love how her hair is edgy but still pretty.

DOPE! Love this look, simple with a touch of edge.
May 2, 2012 at 12:28 pm
this is the beauty of classic pieces. though i don’t at all care for the color of the pants it doesn’t matter, that’s not what’s interesting here. what is exciting is the fit of these “classics” and how she’s put them together and how she carries herself in the world.
May 2, 2012 at 12:29 pm
this is simple and great!
May 2, 2012 at 12:32 pm

May 2, 2012 at 12:51 pm
This is so subtle but I love the coral on the track pants and especially the tiny hint of red on the bottom of the heels. Great pose, great shot.
May 2, 2012 at 12:53 pm
Beautiful shot! The way she poses, the boyfriend shirt (and the way she’s wearing it), the white, pink and green combination…

Dear Sartorialist, what grabbed your attention the moment you saw her? Hair, or the pants, or the striking vibe she has?
May 2, 2012 at 6:27 pm
I like this look conceptually, the trousers and shoes and hair are fab, but the shirt and bag both look, well cheap. Which is a shame as it could have been exquisite…
May 2, 2012 at 7:01 pm

May 5, 2012 at 5:44 pm
The pants are too frumpy & loud to add to that ok shirt. And her feet are sliding right out of the shoes. Not everyone is good at ‘throw on whatever’.
I enjoy your site of course. Sometimes you really throw us a twist and I like that. I know you’re smart & I like your work. Thank you :)
May 5, 2012 at 10:19 pm

I am so desperate for a pair berry pink bottoms! Love the mint heels as a form of colour blocking in the look. Great find!

In case anybody is wondering, these pants are from Zara, currently in Los Angeles stores, just got them for about $70. Hopefully I’ll find a way to wear them as beautifully!

the shaved part is so cool, great to see 2 primary colours worked so well together.

everything too baggy, too loose. would have paired the loose top with a pair of slim trousers or the baggy pants with a fitted top. colours are nice, but not a fan of the silhouette.

I am from Hong Kong so very happy to see pictures of women from my country. This girl (in asian terms) has a rather masculine face, the only thing that keeps her feminity is 3/4 head of long hair; very daring do for a chinese woman too (esp one who is residing in HK) so kudos for her. I love how she wore her clothes with an attitude. It is like she don’t care whether you know what label she is wearing, but she wants you to see and feel how naturally stylish she is; how she dress how she carry herself how she gazed…must say I have yet to see woman this confident when I go home; and I cannot wait for my next trip back. Thank you Scott, great picture.

This look stuck out to me because it appealed to my style, and the photo was taken in Hong Kong. We have talked in class about how significant China is, and is becoming, in the fashion world. This look is effortlessly chic with a slight edge, and is worn with confidence. I love the color combination, and how she makes a casual street outfit look very sophisticated.
