wow, look at that! sweet specs!
March 26, 2012 at 4:03 pm
Yup, once again you’re right, cyclists are chicest of them all.
I just had a short essay read on the radio today about being in my 30s and never learning how to ride a bicycle. When you live in a big urban centre, where everyone knows how to ride, you definitely feel out of the loop.
Anyway this man looks fantastic, and I love these pics!

Ohhh what a beard, his best accessory for sure! His style is impeccable! I wouldn’t expect anything less from a Milanese man! Bravo!
March 26, 2012 at 4:08 pm
Today I have posted a look with hat too hahaha
I hope you like it!

March 26, 2012 at 4:17 pm

March 26, 2012 at 4:19 pm

March 26, 2012 at 4:20 pm

March 26, 2012 at 4:22 pm
Love the shoes and gloves!
What a lovely photo! He looks such a charming man as well! Bet he has plenty of stories to tell! Great dresser too – very suave and sophisticated and beautifully co-ordinated style. Well captured Scott!
I love this. His sunglasses are sooo perfect for him. This is what I like to call sui generis swag
March 26, 2012 at 4:23 pm
Completely dapper. Legit.
March 26, 2012 at 4:28 pm
This is my ultimate style icon right here. The shoes, the gloves, the perfect coat, the co-ordinate hat…AND the fantastic beard, stache, hair….I want to be this guy!
chic and sophisticated young man, indeed :)
I want to have that kind of charisma at his age. I have some work to do.
March 26, 2012 at 4:29 pm
This man is beautiful!
March 26, 2012 at 4:33 pm
Nice combination, boots, socks and slim-fit corduroy trousers.
Grey Fox – searching for style in middle age.
March 26, 2012 at 4:35 pm
He looks really nice… I like the way he stands on the bike :)
March 26, 2012 at 4:37 pm
yet you still manage to nab them :) that’s a pretty major scarf tuck (and beard).
March 26, 2012 at 4:38 pm
But it is worth trying to catch this elegant man! Truly great!
Hes incredibly chic!
It’s nice to see characters like this. He rides a bike, reads an actual newspaper, and dresses like he’s “stuck in the past.” The best part of it all is that you can tell he’s not trying to be particularly fashionable or different in any way. He just is the way he is. I think that’s what we all strive for–to be able to look “good” without even trying.
The Quiet Spaces
March 26, 2012 at 4:40 pm
But I’m glad you catch him everytime.
March 26, 2012 at 4:41 pm
With that excellent posture on (and off) the bike, it wouldn’t surprise me that he raced in the Giro.
By the way, back in the late 80′s– mid 90′s ,when I spent most of my days on a bike in NYC, there was an elder gent with gray hair and beard who ALWAYS rode his bike against traffic. He wore a purple tie-dyed t-shirt, so he was called Purple Man.
March 26, 2012 at 4:45 pm
He is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a long time… sigh………….
He well dressed. And it great way to move when traffic jams in the city.

Wonderful. So much retained strenght in his style, he outstands really.

Guliano doesn’t exist! He’s a ghost!
March 26, 2012 at 5:03 pm

March 26, 2012 at 5:12 pm

March 26, 2012 at 6:43 pm
Oh, his boots, his boots!
March 26, 2012 at 6:50 pm
I really love this man beard, shoes and pants. His pants are cut perfectly just to let us see how beautiful are his shoes. You seem to catch well beardy men, but NOT with the average beard so I wish I could see more of them. Thank you for your beautiful pictures.

He has an incredibly elegant style, and he looks so calmed!
March 26, 2012 at 10:03 pm
@ Pic #2…”Well, if you insist on following me young man, at least tell me who you are and why you feel the need to chase me hither and thither about the streets of Milano…” At least this is what I imagined he said to you after you snapped the pic. I LOVE this! More charming men on bicycles, please! :)

March 27, 2012 at 12:18 am
A true sartorialist – a conscious interpreter of dress codes and conventions, but also quite dashing – especially when he gets away from you on his bicycle.
March 27, 2012 at 12:22 am
he is amazing :) if I lived in Italy I would fall in love every day
March 27, 2012 at 1:30 am

March 27, 2012 at 11:09 am
Love this look…and the bicycle!
March 27, 2012 at 12:02 pm
I have seen this man in Milan, only on his bicycle, several times in different seasons. There is no one I would more like to talk to about clothes, or more exactly see his closet, than him.
IS THIS IT? models review
March 27, 2012 at 12:40 pm
Well, I repeat it: chic cyclists are always the best… :)
March 27, 2012 at 1:46 pm
This guy is so cool it makes my teeth hurt. But next time you see him – if you can catch him – tell him to raise his saddle – he’s gonna mess up his knees.
March 27, 2012 at 1:55 pm
You ought to show a pic of Bradley Wiggins – British pro cyclist, Top Tuor de France finisher, Olympic medallist, Mod, stylish bloke both in and out of lycra. Possibly faster than Guliano, but no beard.

Such a wonderful picture and what an elegant gentleman.
March 28, 2012 at 9:50 pm
I have the same camel corduroys! Well, not the same, as they’re from my mom’s closet and probably from India. Wish I had such cool shoes to pair them with. Or those funky glasses! When you spot such stylish gentlemen on bicycles, you must have to give quite a chase to take a picture! At least your job keeps you fit (:
March 29, 2012 at 8:40 am
Just wow. If I could look half as stylish on a bike I’d be pleased.
March 29, 2012 at 9:03 am
He really got some style ;D
March 29, 2012 at 11:38 am
Handsome – but isn’t it perhaps condescending to call him young when he so clearly is not? He is beautiful without reference to age at all, but his age must be a reference let us be accurate. All of us age; there’s no shame in that.
March 29, 2012 at 1:44 pm
He looks like Giuseppe Verdi
March 29, 2012 at 4:40 pm
Bellissimo! He’s exactly alike to Giuseppe Verdi!
March 29, 2012 at 4:51 pm
Such a brilliantly simple yet powerful look.
