Nice pants and pictures:)’
I actually really like this picture, but I don’t find it or her outfit as edgy as the ones you usually post. I’d love to know what moved you about this woman, or what she was doing?

Love high-waisted bootcut jeans, although I somewhat boringly stick to skinny jeans on a daily basis. I’m going to get a pair soon, and wear it with tucked in colouful blouses.

Those jeans are perfection.
Love her jeans and her jacket, simple and chic!
March 19, 2012 at 8:57 am
Lovely sleek tailoring with a twist thanks to the studs on the lapels. It is that detail which really makes the look special.

I always love a great military jacket. I’ve got one like that in navy blue. I love the structure it gives to an outfit.

March 19, 2012 at 9:34 am
Her smile, and the angles of her body make me happy.
March 19, 2012 at 9:35 am
What a stunning jacket! And those pants. She looks amazing. It’s so funny to see people with their phones as cameras, just snapping away. Makes life a whole lot easier though. And very blog-able!

Strike the pose and take a picture: at the same time.
BTW she’s gorgeous!!!!

What great jeans!!
March 19, 2012 at 9:42 am
I think the combination of those pants and jacket looks awesome on her. I like the fact that the buttons are not the typical golden ones… a rock and military mix and twist!
Love this style of pants, i like to wear them with the same jacket as here
March 19, 2012 at 9:43 am
Seems to be a funny moment ! Love the pants, we almost can not see her shoes !

fresh and pretty. the jacket is beautifully tailored, yet she pulled the outfit together effortlessly.
March 19, 2012 at 10:40 am
love the jacket
March 19, 2012 at 10:43 am
Funny how people try to pinpoint which jean is in or out or back or gone. I’m so glad the other people don’t listen to that.
March 19, 2012 at 10:56 am
I like the jeans, though I dont like to wear them. I prever the skinny jeans. Though, the blazers are quite lovely!
March 19, 2012 at 10:57 am
OH! bell bottom pants :D NICE ONE!

March 19, 2012 at 11:12 am
CUTE! Love the cut too :)
March 19, 2012 at 11:16 am
For me, it was about that slight curve of the jacket as it made it’s way down her back. Really, the details….

One standout piece in this outfit changes the entire look of this lady. Great jacket and of course the great fitting jeans complete the look. Bravo!
March 19, 2012 at 11:39 am
Lots of shapes, lines and angles created by the knee bend. Great vitality to this composition.
Even the photographer over her shoulder is in on the action.
March 19, 2012 at 11:44 am
Gah! I love this! The buttons on her coat & the silhouette of the coat itself caught my eye. I am also liking how the jeans fit her, the length is perfect! Great outfit! She looks comfy & happy! :)
March 19, 2012 at 11:59 am
Fantastic photo! I want that jacket – does anyone recognise where it’s from?

March 19, 2012 at 12:59 pm
LOVE that jacket!
@Monsieur Marcel–you’re dead-on about the lines; almost all of them echo the angles of her body, so while there’s a lot going on here, the shot still feels harmonious.
March 19, 2012 at 1:09 pm
Terrific pose and smile. She’s so in the moment.
I love seeing a bootcut pant featured here. The curent trend of skinny jeans is far from universally flattering and one that I stick to quite loyally. Just because something is easy to wear doesn’t mean it can’t also be fashion-forward.
March 19, 2012 at 1:10 pm
I love that flared/bootcut jeans are coming back–they make women look so damn good!
March 19, 2012 at 1:23 pm
Perfect!…Love the shoes+pants combination!
Not impressed by the outfit, but I love the fact the photo is so spontaneous !

March 19, 2012 at 1:59 pm
sweet smile. she’s enjoying one of life’s little moments.
i cannot wait for the end of the skinny jean. this style is much prettier/ more flattering. thanks for always “mixing it up.”

The jeans and jacket combination is casual and fantastic, though it appears that the jeans have become frayed at the back (a real issue with flares).
I would have liked to have seen a large buckled belt with the jeans as well.
If you look closely the woman behind her is wearing an excellent cream blazer too.
March 19, 2012 at 11:48 pm
this is why boot cut, flare jeans will always come back into style.
March 20, 2012 at 12:44 am
Hi Scott, great shot, new news of the season, flared jeans + heels….one thing though seems to be coming forward in all the comments which makes me question the actual purpose of the posts: are the persons having a blog of their own actually posting a worthy comment (which I think they are barely), asit mostly comes down to a promo of their own blog….what is the actual ethics behind such a comment? time to draw some clear lines i would say, it used to be fun reading various interesting posts, which recently turned into a blog promo. that was not the basic idea, was it? good luck in sorting out the current mass.

Love this photo. There’s a perfect balance to it. The edginess of the outfit, the shoes just about showing, in combination with the pose she has taken. Bonus, is the smile and the inferrence that she is photographing someone. :)

Does anyone know the maker of this jacket? Sorry if I missed it in posts before me. Though I may be a little too chesty for this sleek look.
