You have found a Hall of Famer for 2012. The polka dots are relentlessly gorgeous. The stockings… oh dear, the stockings are lovely. The shoes? Beautiful. In a word? Flawless. http://lordashbury.com
the colors on this outfit are very refreshing. The polka-dot pattern gives that needed pop of girly edge. The cardigan plays down the outfit, and the trench adds a “coolness”. the outfit all together compliments this young woman.
There’s something so interesting happening when there’s a merge of fabrics and textures. The whimsical dance at the ledge of the dress meets the knitted pattern that ma makes its way up her legs.
I can’t even explain how much I love this outfit – from top to bottom. I want that dress!

Beautiful!!! Question – I see more and more of these vintage “looking” cameras with tan leather holders around. Are they vintage or are they new cameras being manufactured to look retro? Any info would be appreciated! Now, to find some suede shoes and colored stockings!
The design of the squares on the Italiante building, the circles in the dress fabric and the green vertical lamp posts. A snap composition decision and so Scott.
i should ask my granny for her teen sandals, skirt and tights, but i wouldnt wear them in my country of course, because people will laugh on me. In fashionista countries i will for sure. That looks so original, so natural, so chic.
What a fabulous, perfectly composed shot! The camera, dress, coat and shoes are so cute. I agree with other comments that the tights and stance are not flattering. However, I wonder if the turned-in stance is purposefully quirky or cannot be helped?
Lovely in every way, i absolutely love the color of the coat. Sometimes trench coats come in such unflattering color, but this one is just pretty as can be. Love everything here.
nina-cameras like that are often by lomography, they make repros of vintage cameras. however that looks far better quality. still any news on where the tights/shoes could be from??
When I was young this outfit was just NOT DONE. It was the epitome of provincialism. I still get cramps in my stomach when I see it.
