Wonderful style for our early spring!
The epitome of pretty.

You have found a Hall of Famer for 2012. The polka dots are relentlessly gorgeous. The stockings… oh dear, the stockings are lovely. The shoes? Beautiful. In a word? Flawless.
I like her dress and the color of her pantys. So original.
Good picture, Scott.

I don’t like those tights mixed with those shoes and, in general, with those colors…but I like the way she expresses self-confidence!
March 12, 2012 at 10:02 am
Very nice light colors. I would really like the same coat. It’s so soft. Nice imaginativeness.

lookin again at the pic, she’s like a clean, nice kind of too many things all together!
March 12, 2012 at 10:17 am
J’adore! The whole thing.
the colors on this outfit are very refreshing. The polka-dot pattern gives that needed pop of girly edge. The cardigan plays down the outfit, and the trench adds a “coolness”. the outfit all together compliments this young woman.
This is wonderful!!!
March 12, 2012 at 10:18 am
She seems really loveable!!!
Her dress is wonderful.

Super Shoot! Love the outfit.
Nice outfit! Love the dress!
March 12, 2012 at 10:21 am
A fun outfit, but why do so many of the grown women photographed on this site stand with one foot turned in like a little girl?
March 12, 2012 at 10:22 am
Lovely dress with dusty mint color polka dot! I like how she layered it with classic trench. Cute look!

how refreshing the green is ! love her layering… the cardigan, the shoes. very lady-like, with a bit of edge.
Love dots, but think the heavy tights bring down the whole look.
March 12, 2012 at 10:32 am
Green polka dots! Now I’m happy to have saved my mother’s skirt, which looks very similar!

Why is she putting her feet and legs like that, she looks like she’s stupid.

March 12, 2012 at 10:56 am
love the dress!
March 12, 2012 at 11:00 am
There’s something so interesting happening when there’s a merge of fabrics and textures. The whimsical dance at the ledge of the dress meets the knitted pattern that ma makes its way up her legs.
March 12, 2012 at 11:05 am
Love the outfit and her vintage camera

The dress and the coat are structurally at odds, but she’s game enough to make them work together…her winning smile sure helps.
March 12, 2012 at 11:43 am
she looks so naive… I think its because of the dress (polka dots in pastel colors)!
March 12, 2012 at 11:44 am
The outfits is pretty, but I like her face, it’s a young, angelic face! Sweet! :)

loving the colour combo and the polka dots
I can’t even explain how much I love this outfit – from top to bottom. I want that dress!
There’s something about polka dots that’s so cheerful. Worn during fall/winter makes it even better.
March 12, 2012 at 12:11 pm
The coat’s hue against the buildings in the background makes for such simple beauty, thanks for posting.
March 12, 2012 at 12:13 pm
Oh this is so charming! I have a polka dot dress just like this, and now I have new restyling idea! Thanks!
March 12, 2012 at 12:24 pm

March 12, 2012 at 12:50 pm
I like the tights-and-shoes mix–it’s a nice combination of colors and textures (and would like it even more if she wasn’t standing like a cranky 4-year-old).
March 12, 2012 at 12:56 pm
Beautiful!!! Question – I see more and more of these vintage “looking” cameras with tan leather holders around. Are they vintage or are they new cameras being manufactured to look retro? Any info would be appreciated! Now, to find some suede shoes and colored stockings!
March 12, 2012 at 12:58 pm
I’ll never get this look. Way too much going on, the coat and camera are beautiful though. http://www.hotcelebration.com
March 12, 2012 at 1:09 pm
The design of the squares on the Italiante building, the circles in the dress fabric and the green vertical lamp posts. A snap composition decision and so Scott.
March 12, 2012 at 1:12 pm
Love the colors, and the camera!! But the coat is really what got me ;o)

How cool is that pic!
March 12, 2012 at 2:06 pm
i should ask my granny for her teen sandals, skirt and tights, but i wouldnt wear them in my country of course, because people will laugh on me. In fashionista countries i will for sure. That looks so original, so natural, so chic.
March 12, 2012 at 2:26 pm
March 12, 2012 at 2:38 pm
What a fabulous, perfectly composed shot! The camera, dress, coat and shoes are so cute. I agree with other comments that the tights and stance are not flattering. However, I wonder if the turned-in stance is purposefully quirky or cannot be helped?
March 12, 2012 at 2:47 pm
I love the wrinkly stockings!
Grey Fox – a man searching for style in middle age.
March 12, 2012 at 3:05 pm
Lovely in every way, i absolutely love the color of the coat. Sometimes trench coats come in such unflattering color, but this one is just pretty as can be. Love everything here.
nina-cameras like that are often by lomography, they make repros of vintage cameras. however that looks far better quality. still any news on where the tights/shoes could be from??
March 12, 2012 at 3:12 pm
love, love, love! everything about this – the dots, the shoes, the colors, the camera… – love.
March 12, 2012 at 3:22 pm
Those tights and shoes are very cute combination!
Btw that dress with spots reminds me of childhood!
March 12, 2012 at 3:25 pm
When I was young this outfit was just NOT DONE. It was the epitome of provincialism. I still get cramps in my stomach when I see it.

She looks sooo cute…happy….just great!
March 12, 2012 at 7:18 pm
I am another one who will never “get” this look. I like the colours, the trench and the camera, but with the cutesy bow(s), polka dots and the t-straps with saggy hose this says “costume” to me.
March 12, 2012 at 7:29 pm

March 14, 2012 at 2:57 am
the bow + vintage camera + vintage suitcase = pretentious overkill. the green of the shoes completely clashes with the green of the dress. it would be a million times better if just that bow was gone. while yes, she does ‘look’ cute and stylish, these choices make the outfit far from perfect.
March 14, 2012 at 3:38 am
I love the mix of quirky and classic. Just stunning – the outfit and the girl.
March 14, 2012 at 4:07 am
She looks so sweet, I adore her dress.
March 14, 2012 at 5:16 am
The camera definitely adds an interesting touch to the outfit. Her camera looks like a Lumix GF1, a ‘micro four thirds’ camera paired with a vintage styled camera case.
