congratulations! you absolutely deserve it. of course, none of us sartorialist addicts needed time magazine to tell us how inspiring your photos are. but it’s always nice to receive appreciation from well-respected and well-established insitutions.
keep it up. there is nothing more inspiring to me than real people in real situations creating very individualistic expressions through their clothes. and you capture it all so brilliantly.
I look at your blog daily, but I came across the Time Mag article unexpectedly last week. You deserve every accolade. You influence the influencers. Confession: I made your site my home page when I launch my browser. A day without The Sartorialist is like a day without sunshine! ;-)
That is so great! I’ll look for it at the mag stand. I look at your blog every day and it is so inspiring, beautiful and tough on my wallet because it makes me want to both buy new clothes and travel to italy again! Thanks and congratulations. Now back to bugging you to do a book – besides the older man sartorialists, something vaguely similar to the Fruits book with tons of photos, but maybe a bit more info and comment would be stunning!
Scott- I’ve been with you from the beginning on this journey. No need to analyse it all too much… You’re simply good at what you do and you’ve got passion. Well done, you deserve it. All the best from Scotland.
congratulations!!! you deserve to be on that list! :) i got hooked on your site just a year ago (when i suddenly found time to surf the net entirely for fun) and a day hasn’t gone by when i don’t click on “sartorialist” on my favorites bar.
thank you for inspiring me to dress well each day. :)
I have seen the mention in Time — in fact, I am a little ashamed to say that it was the first time I found out about this blog. However, since I have found it, I have become addicted! I so appreciate your true delight in fashion, your genuine appreciation and eye for it, as opposed to making the rest of us feel unworthy! Thank you!
I have to say that as much as I love this blog, and the pictures and the break it gives me from the mundane, what I am constantly impressed and inspired by is what a success you have become, all the while marching (or is it dancing?) to you own tune. There are many successful people in NY, but I think that you are very special in that you have managed to find success and satisfaction (and hopefully some financial reward) in doing what you love. Congratulations! -p.
Congratulations. I check your blog everyday, you show real fashion on the street, the way it should be, and the way us real folks live it. You deserve it! Congrats again!
Congratulations from Bahrain !!! your#1 fan here ..i would like to say keep up the good work and i hope to see more of the sartorialist doing diverse things to show us “average-fashion-folk” better style appreciation :)
Dear Sart, Congratulations on your latest achievement; I think you are the BEST of the BEST. I love your heart and your gentleness, and, of course, your STYLE. Thank you for humanizing fashion. xoxox, 50+
Congrats! You really deserve it. Your photos have made me look at the way I present myself totally differently. I also now catch myself picking our “Sartoralist”‘s on the street.
Ah, don’t let the little old German ladies scare you. They are mean to everyone. You can cross on red so long as there are no kids around. Congratulations on the Times list!
The café St.Oberholz, situated on Rosenthaler platz, a square where five roads intersect.
Weinbergsweg/ Kastanienallee, (jokingly called castingallee) pouring young and beautiful creatives into Mitte from Prenzlauer Berg.
Rosenthaler Strasse, drawing the established architechts and intellectuals of Mitte for their cup of Brazilian coffee at Galao on weinbergsweg.
And Torstrasse, where the elderly couples with appartments in Mitte stroll in the sun.
I would love to see the photographs that could be taken from a moment in the sun at St.Oberholz. The café in itself is interesting too, in that more or less all of the guests bring laptops, to connect to the wireless broadband. There is, of course, nothing new or shocking about an internetcafé. The enjoyable aspect is the very altmodisch design of the place, spacious and classic.
Congratulations! So happy for you! No one asked for my vote, but you are right there at the top of my own design influencers. Thanks again for sharing your photos (and your rise to stardom) with us.

Congratulations… you definitely deserve the honor.

Again, thanks for the vision.
