Ed: Scott usually doesn’t answer questions regarding his gear, so I’ll do it since I’m a big photography nut too. He uses a canon eos 5d with a 50mm f1.4 lens, as far as I know.
Thanks interman! I was just wondering what kind of camera he uses. The photographs are so good, they look like it’s for editorials, ads or something. i’m kind of a new reader; i’m still in awe of the stuff i see here :]
I really enjoy these shots of older gentlemen enjoying life. This fellow looks fabulous and has a great zest for life. Keep these pictures going. Joie de vivre is truly timeless. Any good ones of older women?

How delightful! I really admire how older European gentlemen dress – always in a class of their own.

Oh, I love the depth of field in this photo. My eyes automatically gravitate towards the older gentleman despite the other people in the photo.
Very nice.

This is one of my favorite shots of yours. There is so much life in it, and you can almost hear their laughter! Wonderful!

strongly reminiscent of umberto d: the retired, aging, yet somehow properly dressed european man.

the older man is so well dressed and comfortable in his skin. He looks….at peace. Can style alone accomplish all this? True, loyal, original style?
