I have such a soft spot for Jil Sanders. When I was a little girl, my family moved to Amsterdam, and my cousin worked in a fancy boutique, and she’d bring home beautiful goodies, and I still remember seeing the luxurious treats with the Jil Sander tag. I’m excited to see her bring the magic back!

I am sad about Raf leaving Jil Sander. Even though Jil Sander herself is coming back. He’s done a remarkable job with this brand. Even down to his last collection.

After seeing all of the emotional tweets after Raf’s double bow, I jumped online to try catch a glimpse of this collection. Thank you for sharing so promptly!

Absolutely stunning! I love love Raf’s aesthetic, he truly is a genius! I really hope we get to see him doing his own label next. Jil Sander herself will have very large shoes to fill now….

Very simple collection. I’m excited about the re-emergence of the sloping shoulders, so that I can now wear my leather jacket purchased in the 90′s.

I am a complete fashion outsider. I work in the sciences and am usually entirely practical. But Jil Sander always manages to walk the line between fashion fantasy and “I’d wear that” in a way I adore. This is no exception. Most of these pieces manage to look both 1955 and space-aged. Many are both delicate, feminine and glamorous as well as powerful, practical and smart. I would love to be able to afford such treats!

    The Smashing Pumpkins??? Really???

I am confused as to how that was the accompanying track to such a lush collection. I wanted to hit the mute button, but I was in a state of denial and hoping I was mistaken…
