I have such a soft spot for Jil Sanders. When I was a little girl, my family moved to Amsterdam, and my cousin worked in a fancy boutique, and she’d bring home beautiful goodies, and I still remember seeing the luxurious treats with the Jil Sander tag. I’m excited to see her bring the magic back!

I am sad about Raf leaving Jil Sander. Even though Jil Sander herself is coming back. He’s done a remarkable job with this brand. Even down to his last collection.

After seeing all of the emotional tweets after Raf’s double bow, I jumped online to try catch a glimpse of this collection. Thank you for sharing so promptly!

Absolutely stunning! I love love Raf’s aesthetic, he truly is a genius! I really hope we get to see him doing his own label next. Jil Sander herself will have very large shoes to fill now….

I want to live and die in that collection. A perfect final show for Raf.
February 25, 2012 at 11:05 am
Beautiful simple shapes – a great collection. Wonder what Raf will do next, though I am thrilled Jil is coming back to her namesake.
February 25, 2012 at 11:18 am
i seriously stood up in my own home and clapped ! Gorgeous and I want every single piece. Congrats to Raf for making wonderful creative pieces – consistently challenging and engaging.

Very simple collection. I’m excited about the re-emergence of the sloping shoulders, so that I can now wear my leather jacket purchased in the 90′s.

Good show ! It was a touching tribute done here !!

This is so emotional! What a wonderful final collection for Raf. It’s sad that he is leaving- he has designed such wonderful clothes whilst with Jil Sander- but I’m sure he has something incredible in the pipeline.
February 25, 2012 at 1:03 pm
amazing! he makes fifties shapes look sleek and modern. actually this is the first time i fully understand his decision to accept dior. now everything falls into place – raf at dior, jil sander back into her own.

One of my favourite houses. So clean, so minimal, so chick….And Raf never fails….

February 25, 2012 at 2:56 pm
EVERYONE looks good in Jil Sander–One of my favorite labels. I am still wearing pieces I bought 10 years ago.
February 25, 2012 at 3:07 pm
I am a complete fashion outsider. I work in the sciences and am usually entirely practical. But Jil Sander always manages to walk the line between fashion fantasy and “I’d wear that” in a way I adore. This is no exception. Most of these pieces manage to look both 1955 and space-aged. Many are both delicate, feminine and glamorous as well as powerful, practical and smart. I would love to be able to afford such treats!

The Smashing Pumpkins??? Really???
I am confused as to how that was the accompanying track to such a lush collection. I wanted to hit the mute button, but I was in a state of denial and hoping I was mistaken…
