Is that a quilted jacket? I have serious problems accepting those jackets other than on stable workers, old ladies and maybe old men – but the men have to be british or italian to get away with it. To wear a quilted jacket in downtown stockholm is just a lame upperclass statement. And he seems to be just that type of guy. I can’t deny his good looks though, and I like the shirt. Also he pulls off the combination of colors well.
Hm, in stureplan/östermalm, this is so ordinary that i’m getting tired in the eyes just by looking at the picture. It’s like that scene in the second matrix movie with all the Agent Smith clones, in stockholm you have 200 of this guy around you all the time and that’s pretty annoying after a while.
A lot of swedes has a great sense of fashion though, but you find most of them in Södermalm/SoFo.

I think this is just as stupid and bad as people that look down on others because they do not wear designer labels.
Style is not a win/lose game the Ostermalm doesn’t have to be better or worse than Sodermalm it can just be different and be fine for that
stop being a snob maybe you will learn something from others that will make a positive difference in your style – Sodermalm is good but not the the only game in town.

Hm, the style is timeless. However, you need to be quite relaxed in it, I believe, not to appear 50-ish. This boy looks a bit stiff to me. My guess is he would rather run around in jeans and t-shirt and thus, that is what he should do..
I love this picture. The way the trafic signs were caught on both sides of the boy. And the way he looks in to the camera, like it was taken so fast he didn’t even have time to put both hands fully in the pockets. I like his style.. Very nice; casual-street-elegance..

A substitute teacher in my school was wearing a fine gauge sweater in that same green color today, except his look was hideous– washed out green plaid and khakis.
