That woman looks as if she walked right of the run way with the designs still on! I can not get over the way that coat hangs on her frame, at first glance it seems too big as seems hang too low over the curve of the shoulder, but something about the oversizing of the coat is so feminine-a mix between effortless and forgiven inaccuracy, a thing I think- designers aim for-that moment of catharsis that makes you feel something.
I think a coat should fit a person, but some how this cut does not come off sloppy or forced, just elegant big and warm. It is such a classic look, trousers and a jacket, but this modern look really gives me the sense anything is possible in fashion, even if you only begin with the classic basics.
Also, telling by the light and warmth of the photo, I really feel as if this woman has a great sense of how to dress for a particular day. It is as if she looked out the window and matched her coat to the air.
OMGGGGGGGGG…..I need a friend like thisssss…….Amazing Trousers and LOVELYYYY walking in Street…The structure of pic is total wonderfullllllll….Congrats to the team =)
I love this because it doesn’t look expensive (even if it is – I have no idea)! The coat reminds me of a men’s coat that I bought at the Salvation Army and cut off and hemmed, when I was in university and had no money (in the late 1980s/early 1990s). Lovely combination of colours as well!
The clothes are lovely but its the girl in the city that take prominent position here. The tension created by her purposeful movement against the flow of traffic while wisps of her hair become as one with the tracery of branches behind her.
To be honest I’m not crazy about the color combination, or the pants–which seem to be billowing in an awkward way about the ankles. As if they’ve been badly hemmed. But nevertheless the overall impression is enchanting–as if a Botticelli had suddenly appeared and been put hastily into modern dress. Primavera! It’s partly the paleness of face, hair, and jacket, I think… which makes her seem a little like a statue…
Fabolous photo.
I love how the hair is unphotoshopped and allowed to be as free as it would be in the real world.
