Love it, love it, love it all! I love the modest styles, and sparkles and the fur! It’s all great. And I’ve got an idea now on how to remix the skirt I wore here: http://natashafatah.blogspot.com/2012/02/allan-gardens-flowers-and-jewels.html

there’s too much fur… but I need one of those chunky sweaters!
February 16, 2012 at 3:34 am
Wow..what I would have given to be at “Fashion Week” …This collection is so sturdy with warm hues and over-size structure, its reminds me of the 1940′s Prior to World War 1. A German, Parisian style couture , the working class woman inspired look… which was how they dressed in efforts to support the war.
The design of the oversize jackets and the narrow tailoring around the waist and the labor working style woman shoe. Just makes me think of the women back then that wanted to still show their status in society by wearing fur coats during a time of chaos…. only thing missing is a fedora. Michael Kors… Simply Fabulous!
Thanks Scott, for giving me a front-row seat….

Lovely collection. Nice coats!
This is a great choice.
Casual and elegant, specially the first. Sweater intergrated with the dress looks amazing.
The fur goes great with those brown boots.
This is how woman should dress in next winter, this is so wearable.

The reasons I love Michael Kors’ collections so much are many but I can summarise them as follows.
His clothes are elegant, classy, up to date and yet so wearable. I could picture myself in each and every outfit. He is clearly one of the representatives of classic American style, which in itself is practical, elegant and a bit more down to Earth (thus more wearable) than European style, but moreover he has greatly worked towards its current undergoing evolution.
Thank you for the wondeful pictures! I don’t know if it’s the clothes or the light or your technique, or all of them together, but I can actually feel the lovely textures in my fingertips.
A big kiss from Greece!

Little bit too much of death animals in this collection, for my taste..

They look like the most gorgeous stylish girl-pilots from the 1930s.
Love also the sunglasses. It’s just looking so good.
Lots of love,

FABULOUS! Michael Kors is so talented and always want to wear his clothes (except that coat with 1000 tales dangling off it!). They seem to do a lot of fur in NYC – in London there is always a riot when it’s mentioned yet alone put on the runway.
February 16, 2012 at 5:42 am
I reallly like these clothes, the silver dress most, but they need to lose the dead animals.
February 16, 2012 at 6:26 am

Haven’t seen the whole show…….grung american chic an oxymoron…….love the back view of the metal gown
February 16, 2012 at 8:51 am
j’adore Michael Kors just because of his colors
The overall camel/brown shades aren’t my favorite, but I do really like the sparkly lace skirts and the last sequin dress with what looks like transparent trim is gorgeous.
February 16, 2012 at 8:58 am
No one does tan better than Mr. Kors. Superb.
February 16, 2012 at 9:21 am
I adore. Love the chunky knits.
February 16, 2012 at 9:26 am
Love the 30′s feel. Particularly like the delicate skirts with the scrumptious knit sweater and the cozy fur vest – the high low lace skirt is amazing (have to imagine the fur is fake!!)
February 16, 2012 at 9:51 am
I LOVE IT!! Especially the combination furs or knit +sparkles… awesome!!
We also presented our FW 12 collection last weekend in Pure London Show!!!
Maybe in some months we are at London Fashion Week…. :-)

the silver backless dress!! wow!! am I the onlu one that has stopped to check out the fragile silver paillettes dress?? INCREDIBLE. my congrats!!
February 16, 2012 at 10:08 am
Michael Kors was one of my favorites. More fur, and lush knits..can’t get much better than that except if you add the feathers. Check out some of my faves.
February 16, 2012 at 10:34 am
Wondefull coats! Love the last dress.

beautifull the first coat!! so 20′s!!
February 16, 2012 at 1:08 pm
Not as innovative as I would like but still comfy and stylish.
February 16, 2012 at 1:11 pm
What is that, so incredibly unsophisticated display of fur? It is 2012! We have incredible fakes!
February 16, 2012 at 1:25 pm
How is that beautiful? How is useless, wasteful killing of all those animals carelessly draped over a glitzy dress admirable or glamorous in any way? The collection was beautiful without it…I hope next time he has enough conviction in them to leave out the fur..
February 16, 2012 at 1:26 pm
Love the mixture of textures!!!
February 16, 2012 at 1:43 pm
STOP FUR !! You should not do that…
c’est une aberration et c’est lamentable.

All those poor little tails :-s
What a waste of lives. Bleh.
February 16, 2012 at 10:39 pm
So not modern, all that fur. Disheartening that it’s still going on when so many inroads have been made in legislation and awareness.

Such a distasteful display of animal suffering… Are we still in the Middle Age?
I love this blog, I wish you wouldn’t contribute with the marketing of such shameful practice…

again, wish i could wear these things TOMORROW =)
February 17, 2012 at 7:44 pm
I find the use of fur so tasteless and morally wrong. It ruins the entire collection for me. It says a lot about a designer who cannot compromise and give up fur. I dislike Michael Kors very much for his poor choice.
February 18, 2012 at 12:52 am
Love the fur and sequins… amazing!
February 18, 2012 at 2:25 pm
Such gorgeous clothes!!
February 19, 2012 at 8:28 am
STOP posting furs! It is the fifth time I’m trying to post this comment. Just stop with the furs, it is totally immoral!
February 19, 2012 at 8:32 am
It is the 9th time trying to post here. STOP posting furs!!!!
February 19, 2012 at 9:52 pm
Thank you for all these strong voices against fur!!! I’m totally thrown off by it’s amount in the collection, otherwise gorgeous. You just cannot justify it today, with all the info available on where it comes from. The price is too high! People, please educate yourselves and stop this barbarian practice.
February 20, 2012 at 3:12 am
In Norway we have banned fur from our fashion week. In sweden it is forbidden to have fur farm. We do not only think of the welfare of all our citizens, thinking of animals rights is also very natural to us…
February 20, 2012 at 3:14 am
Wearing fur is like having a child-slave in your home. Nobody except uninformed, likeminded friends will be impressed….
February 23, 2012 at 5:26 pm
Oh, fur is so tired. I, like most of us here, understand fashion and it’s many forms, but a fur coat in 2012 is ignorant, and certainly has nothing to do with function.
July 16, 2012 at 5:52 am
Fur is always beatiful and sexy, and also in many regions it is neccessary – for examle, in Alaska State
