She looks fierce!
Brilliant, sexy, fun & chic. The best of New York. I love it
I just saw this amazing looking woman on another fashion site, and she looks impeccable. I love all the contrast – the look is so top heavy, and then these tiny heels on the bottom. Love the military, sombre look with playful, colourful shoes. And overall, it’s just nice to see a clean, dignified look, when there’s a whole lot of grunginess around. ;)
now this one looks like she came out straight of the runway.

The shoes are amazing. Only needs a pop of color.
February 13, 2012 at 10:04 am
The color of her shoes are to die for.
February 13, 2012 at 10:06 am
Classy, femenine and the colour of those shoes is just…stunning!
February 13, 2012 at 10:07 am
bare legs and sandals! one wonders what’s wrong with winter clothes and shoes… at least that’s what i would do if i were a designer.
(the alterative would be wondering what’s wrong with certain women, pretending it’s summer in midwinter. well, it’s a fact that women can be vain to the point of cruelty, even to themselves.)
and apparently when you’re young you have more grey fat in your body, which keeps you from feeling cold. as you get older the grey fat changes and you (feel the need to) dress warmer.
must admit that i never considered wearing sandals in february, not even in my teens. not enough grey fat, i guess.
She looks gorgeous off course but… How could she wear strapy sandals on that freaking cool weather?!
I absolutely love this look!

The one detail that stands alone is her exaggerated low parting on her short haircut. It does add a strong but subtle detail to the over all style, and is magnificent to look at.
I love sandals in winter
February 13, 2012 at 10:16 am
I love her sandals, the colour and the design, so elegant and chic.
February 13, 2012 at 10:17 am
I love her sandals, so colourful, smart and chic.

February 13, 2012 at 10:31 am
Very chic. I love how she’s wearing her coat…very cape like. And the weather here has been warm enough to wear a skirt, kinda!!
February 13, 2012 at 10:32 am
What a stunning woman. Beautiful clothes that fit perfectly. I love the proportions, the colors and the shock of green shoes. I don’t understand, though, how anyone could go open-toed in winter! Gadzooks! My hat is off to her, but I feel cold on her behalf!

February 13, 2012 at 10:33 am
I love the coat with the fur trim and the pop of green in the strappy heels! This outfit has such a unique blend of different styles that somehow work well together – she can definitely pull it off.
February 13, 2012 at 10:36 am
Such an elegant look! Love her sandals!
February 13, 2012 at 10:44 am
love the dark jeans jacket, its weird that nowadays most of the “trendy” jeans jackets are light.
statement heels in winter! love them! XX

February 13, 2012 at 11:19 am
She’s gorgeous and she looks perfect for New York City!
February 13, 2012 at 11:21 am
bold + BEAUTIFUL!
February 13, 2012 at 11:24 am
Nice coat and look except for the satin(?) evening shoes. Should have worn boots to complement the heavy winter look.
February 13, 2012 at 11:31 am
I love the colors and spareness of this photo – the tiny bits of green and red in the stoplights echoing the green sandal and reddish-brown handbag colors. Very nice – and of course the nice mix of the more boyish jeans jacket mixed with the very ladylike fur collar coat.
February 13, 2012 at 11:34 am
She is so intimidating ! I love this attitude !!
February 13, 2012 at 11:35 am
The only way I could describe how gorgeous this lady is would be by putting a bunch of curse words in front of ‘gorgeous’.
February 13, 2012 at 11:37 am
Love her look! I wish there is winter season in most cities of South East Asia. It would be easy to spot style like this.
February 13, 2012 at 11:46 am
She looks like an extra from Blade Runner – love it!
She looks great but must be totally FREEZING in bare legs and sandals! I thought it was snowing in NYC yesterday! x
February 13, 2012 at 11:49 am
Love the whole style … but… the sandals.

the shoes are so unexpected! but I love the glamour of the whole ensemble.

I’m so cold when I’m looking at her shoes ! (which are awesome but not the right time)
Please Don't Tell
February 13, 2012 at 12:42 pm
Love love love this!
February 13, 2012 at 12:43 pm
I love the entire look from head to toe. The green strappy heels are a great addition to the overall dark monotone ensemble. She has a very powerful presence that is nicely reflected in this photo.
February 13, 2012 at 12:54 pm
Oh, those shoes! Swoon.
February 13, 2012 at 12:56 pm
This woman is fabulous.

I didn’t see the shoes coming!
Although I totally disagree with wearing out of weather clothes and accessoites, you got me with this outfit. She looks cool.
A big kiss from -what used to be- Greece…
February 13, 2012 at 1:23 pm
she looks great. the footwear is a little confusing for a walking city like new york especially in the middle of cold-february. all that said, she is making it work!
(i mean, a bootie, a boot? something, it’s cold outside!)
February 13, 2012 at 1:51 pm
First my focus goes down to the shoes (what a color – particularly beautiful against her skin tone) but then I see the whole outfit which is just so effortless and confident. Very cool shot.

February 13, 2012 at 1:54 pm
I love the element of surprise those fabulous heels give.
February 13, 2012 at 1:57 pm
I love the combination, but the sandals on her feet make me feel cold!
February 13, 2012 at 2:07 pm
Well, I do wear sandals with wooly tights but maybe that’s a bit rough and ready for NYC. (I mean black suede ‘winter’ sandals not clumpy great country things!) It’s still cold though unless you have a driver and maybe she has as she looks so elegant.

February 13, 2012 at 2:21 pm
Love the look, but honestly, it’s freezing today. I have no idea how she is handling the cold in those shoes…but then again, my mother always said “Who said that fashion would be comfortable?”
February 13, 2012 at 2:22 pm
As someone currently freezing her butt off in Boston, I want to dislike this because it only supports dressing for fashion, not weather, and it makes my winter boots look bulky and ugly (if warm)…but
Ooof, she looks fantastic!
February 13, 2012 at 2:26 pm
Not a huge fan of the straps on the heels…
February 13, 2012 at 2:42 pm
Freezing temperatures aside…. The sandals are pretty, but I think the outfit looks out of proportion. It’s just my opinion of course, but the sandals seem too dainty for the heaviness of the clothing. I do love the components of the outfit, but I think different footwear would have looked beautiful.

I like all the different elements here – and that is how to wear a denim jacket!

February 13, 2012 at 2:49 pm
I love her attitude from head to toe. She must be freezing, but there’s a phrase that rhymes in spanish that says “fashion is not about being comfy” (la moda, incomoda).
Greetings from Santiago, Chile.

Love the color on the shoes;)’
February 13, 2012 at 4:43 pm
She’s really wearing that coat and not the other way around. Very chic.
February 13, 2012 at 5:00 pm
Love the bag and collar trick. Powerful statement. Also agree about the shoes. My toes are cold just looking at it.
February 13, 2012 at 5:12 pm
I know this winter has been warm, but not THAT warm.
February 13, 2012 at 5:14 pm
Her feet must be freezing.
February 13, 2012 at 5:29 pm
Digging it all EXCEPT the shoes…she needs some warm boots or some sort of encapsulating shoe to make this look believable. You cannot tell me that this woman does not have feet that do not get cold…they all do.
February 13, 2012 at 6:06 pm
is that Oroma Elewa?she is amazing!
