San Francisco has a few of these trams in its collection. This particular photo you’ve taken, the buiding in the background, the sidewalk, the pavement, could almost pass as San Francisco. Although, the woman in the photo would not be nearly as stylish or attractive in San Francisco. She would be wearing yoga pants and Nike running shoes!

The tram in the background adds so much to the photo!
February 9, 2012 at 12:14 pm
This picture is amazing!! in love with the colour of the tram matching to the jumper!!!
February 9, 2012 at 12:18 pm
Of course the men notice the Hasselblad (as used to take photos on the Moon) as well as the very stylish young lady!

Her Hair…LOVE IT!
February 9, 2012 at 1:22 pm
Beautiful! She is wearing a loden, a traditional wool coat, used mostly by men. I’m a fan, This winter I took a few pictures of people wearing a loden in Milano.

Taking a pic. Like a boss.

I love how the yellow bus contrasts with her outfit! Fantastic!

I love the idea of this girl. She thinks about what she wears but not too much. She has this great hair that she doesn’t have to control or style, it’s just there and it’s perfect. Her shoes, her jeans, her coat and her camera. Love it all. Great shot.
Such a lovely postcard. And light…
This is so romantic. Tram cars are romantic to begin with. Add a woman with long tumbling red locks and it works.

Very pretty love her hair
February 9, 2012 at 1:46 pm
that hair makes me hot
February 9, 2012 at 1:48 pm
This is beautiful; the dark figure between the yellow trolley and the white poster, very elegant composition.

love her hair!

The color of the outfit is great, especially with her hair. And I love the old fashioned camera and the train at the back.

I love how her hair covers the face. You don’t need to see the face to see the clothes look so good on her. If you saw her face and didn’t like her then you would think that the clothes would be ugly on her. Its about fashion NOT anything else…. <3 :)

This is a great photo, funny how she is holding the camera :)

Love the picture! And I just LOVE her hair! Makes me want to stop chopping my locks of and finally letting them grow like this.
February 9, 2012 at 5:49 pm
This isn’t in Lisbon, Portugal? I’m sure the tram is called “Carris” because it’s yellow, and tram cars in Portugal are yellow!
February 9, 2012 at 10:18 pm

When I first saw this photo I thought, “It’s lovely, but there’s nothing special about it.” Then I realized that that’s the point: there’s no one splashy bit in the photo that grabs one’s attention, so all the elements–the balanced composition, the lovely light, the girl’s beautiful hair, the glowing yellow of the trolley–come together in quiet harmony to capture a moment.
