Love it. Love the whole thing, the colours, the pattern and those fabulous shorts.

Whoever designed the shorts (That sounds so wrong to describe these) clearly wasn’t afraid of making a woman a little fuller. How great! Sure,in this case nothing is going to make her look big. I love the flower print tee, happy but not too sweet

those shorts are stellar and the photo is a gorgeous and quiet portrait in and of itself. nice.

This is all too cute. Very nice way to beat the heat.

i like those tied shorts and folded fabric round the waist! where can i find shorts around like that?
August 3, 2007 at 12:06 pm
If the shorts were a knee length skirt it would be much nicer. But I like it from the hip up.

She looks a bit boy-ish and those shorts create a very unflattering shape. Those cargo-pockets on the front of her shorts aren’t helping matters in the least!

I realize you posted this picture because of her shirt or her unique hairstyle, but I never understood diaper shorts

Long live the pixie! She’s adorable in a Mia Farrow (Rosemary’s Baby) sort of way!

this whole look seems very romantic to me… like the way jane austen would dress if she were alive today.

I am quite sure that the shorts are from Acne, and their spring/summer collection. They made lots of paper bag waists in that collection, on shorts, skirts and trousers. She wear them well!

The graphic is pleasantly suprising, matched with such sophisticated proportions and color.

Yes…shorts by Acne. Super cute – even better with a chunky heel to balance them out!

Yes those are acne shorts! I tried them but were WAY too big on me..she on the other hand looks FAB!

Love the outfit but I’m not sure about her hairstyle. It needs more va-va voom.

i used to want my hair cut in that same “dorothy hamill” cut as a child…

i’m laughing at the diaper shorts comment – that’s just a funny funny image. imagine that as copy in a catalog!
but i think this is a really stellar example of style and daring in a very quiet way. she looks great. wonderful pic!

Those shorts are by Acne Jeans, Sweden. The profile is slimmer than you’d expect with most of the volume ‘bagged’ at the waist. The pouch pockets really obscure the silhouette when there are fists jammed in them. As far as where to find them, they’re from spring/summer 07- hejfina.com, based in Chicago- had them. They’ve been sold out for a while though.

It´s warming to find you taking pictures of ordinary and a bit mature women. This lady is closer to my age than the whole bunch before.Luckily she has found a very personal outfit and it just looks so natural on her.Carry on like this Sart!

Well I will be honest and say this woman makes me feel very out of touch because I just don’t get the appeal at all…the bowl haircut…the flower tank that looks like the one I wore in jr. high….I do like the different shape on the shorts, though.

Acne jeans shorts right?

Love the graphic tee but the shorts are a little too complicated for the ensemble.
Love the haircut though!

Cool. I lke the combo of the ‘somber’ color with the graphic hibiscus and the bow at waistline, sort of a whirl of severe and sensuous. Nice looking woman as well.

All she needs is some bright lips and some killer heels – hmmm??? Maybe she had killer heels, can’t see her feet.
Love the t

I love her shorts..

She is beautiful and unpretentious. I love her look–like a young 14th century monk–or Joan of Arc. Enchanting.
The clarity of her face, the direct dreaminess of her eyes, like a young knight, and then the contrast–the full sexiness of a woman’s body. She enhances the clothes, not the other way around.

Elegant take on shorts, but only because they suit her figure. How would this outfit look on someone short and plump (not that I’m shortist or plumpist)? But it begs the question, would she have been photographed? Also, I suspect the designer intended for those pockets to be purely decorative.

Those shorts are amazing. I would still wear them today nd l;ove them. Its nice they are not tight. They look very flattering.
