Very nice, but between the hair and the shirt and the trousers and the bag I’d like to see something more structured and linear somewhere. As it is those shoes appear to be just kind of random and unrelated to what’s going on.
Although she’s obviously pretty, I think the outfit would have worked better with volume on either the bottom or the top, but not both. The puff sleeves and the baggy pants are just too much. Love the lucite peep-toes though!
Sat I have to give it up to you for finding this fantastic looking lady,i am in love with the way she has played with the propotions making sure that the outfit doesn’t drown her, she is so chic
Uh-oh, another baggy-kneed, gathered pant. I was not aware of this trend until its feature on this site. It’s definintely a retreat from the norm, but kinda captivating. So is this girl. Her hair is fab, very editorial, and the color story is inspiring. I said in highschool that if I were a designer, I would appal and amaze people with lots of navy/black brown/black, and I’m surprised it took this long to happen, although current fashion conditions are perfect for this kind of convention-breaking. An alluring combo of sweet, smart, and saucy (hello lucite shoes!)
Love the pants and her hust rolled out of bed hair. I think the color of her pants is a good match for the silver shoes. The two colors also intensify(sp) each other.
sart, i really wish you would make a comment, so i can try to appreciate what you see when you posted this photo and others, because your most recent stockholm visit is going over my head. perhaps you are looking at the faces and not the clothes, because i notice how your other readers are commenting on how good looking they are. i am focusing on their clothes and style. there are many good looking people. but very few well dressed people with style.
I LOVE this photo. The whole ‘voluminous’ look is fabulous, and I especially like the shorter pants (casually rolled up, no less), with those shoes. I myself used to wear such combination, and I like to see someone similar-minded.
I’m having trouble processing this one. All the poufs – the blouse, the pants, the purse, the hair! And I’ve never been a fan of lucite heels. Hopefully someone will have something positive and incisive to say about this to educate me.
She is a classic beauty. I personally don’t opt for that pant style, but she pulls it off well. And nothing beats a crisp white shirt against olive skin. Nothing.
I just simply love the way you succeed to catch Stockholm with all its best in every picture; the light, the people, the surroundings. And no, not everyone in Stockholm are this adoreable, but the ones that are are good-looking enough for the rest of us!
Oh no…not a “frech rolled” pant leg… I know the 80′s are back in full swing but this is one I thought we were going to avoid re-hashing. Some trends should just stay dead!
Other than the pant ove her…shoes, bag, hair and all!
harem baggy pants, wow! is this the new volume trousers are headed to? takes a special physique and confidence to pull this one off and of course, a sense of humor.
I can’t figure Stockholm out. Either they are so far forward that they’ve gone straight into the late 80′s for their fashion sense or else they are still trapped there. I mean, I dressed just like this in High School (and received the ‘best dressed’ award, mind you) so please don’t tell me this is coming back.
the fluffy pants and shirt looks more like a clown or a child playing dress up then something for a beautiful young woman to wear. it just isn’t pretty to me. it just looks silly.
So hard to get away with this harem / odalisque look but she does, and does it so well.
Inspiration goes so much deeper than the 80s, a mere bleep in time.
I love people striking out for themselves away from tight fitted clothing. Not that there’s anything wrong with close fitting but this is so much sexier and intriguing than molded silhouettes.
She looks like she’s just walked out from a photo shoot! Pretty amazing!
I love the way how she manages to pull off a poofy hairstyle, a poofy blouse, and poofy trousers. The usually say choose only one poofy item at a time, but she clearly dispells that idea! As someone else said, somehow it all balances out.
this looks more like a NY look than stockholm! love the poetic hair…she reminds me of Jennifer Beal (is that her name?) in Flashdance…dont know why …maybe its the very strong 80′s look! she pulls it off though…and she’s gorgeous too!
the heels say it all you can be wacky on top but with those shoes , she looks very sexy, off course her beauty also takes care of that ! the mix of sharp heel and full rounded volumes (sleave/pants/bag) is great !
God, her hair is so amazing. I’m jealous! And even though there’s a lot of volume in her clothes, it’s cinched in at her waist and ankles, so she isn’t lost in there. She is so beautiful with her own cool style.
What a wonderful, flattering outfit! Now there is something people can learn from. A perfectly put together, comfortable outfit that will work on many people. Maybe not as well as this little angel.

She’s a modern-day Gibson Girl!
The silhouette of hair, blouse, pants, bag. All accented by the shoes.
It shouldn’t work. Yet, it does. Effortlessly.
