Good looking guy. I like his pairing of checked jacket and pinstriped trousers.
Love those pinstripe slacks!

I love when we get to know the person behind the picture.

I appreciate this classic style with special touches like the shirt’s collar.
December 21, 2011 at 11:29 am
Great clothes but don’t like the jacket and slacks combo.
December 21, 2011 at 11:31 am

December 21, 2011 at 11:33 am
Quelle classe !!
December 21, 2011 at 11:36 am
I like the rounded collar shirt. I see this style so rarely worn, but this shows just how important is to wear something that represents you. Great interview!

December 21, 2011 at 11:54 am
He seems very genuine and down to earth, unpretentious. Subtly dressed and elegant. And cute to boot!
December 21, 2011 at 12:31 pm
It makes me incredibly happy that he doesn’t wear flip flops. Flip flops are just wrong.

‘Do you travel with a shoe tree?’ Interview question of the year :)
December 21, 2011 at 12:41 pm
Amazing style!! Love learning about his journey -but he should really reconsider flip-flops once in a while…
December 21, 2011 at 12:57 pm
Nice interview, pretty good looking man!

December 21, 2011 at 2:17 pm
Great style, and he’s worked with so many inspiring designers, now to become an inspiring one himself. Another great questionaire, thanks for posting!
December 21, 2011 at 2:20 pm
Kate-no, I think “Picky about toothpaste?” is the interview question of the year :)

Wonderful style and a classic watch!
December 21, 2011 at 4:49 pm
This guy has killer style; It’s so Off-Glass.
December 21, 2011 at 5:07 pm
Damn! I wish some of this guy would rub off on my husband…. He lives in flip flops and jeans… It’s taken me 3 weeks just to convince him to get a hair cut! Small steps I guess – Maybe I need to introduce small elements at one piece at a time, then by the time I’m 90 he’ll be looking good!
December 21, 2011 at 5:24 pm
Hallelujah! A man who DOESN’T wear flip flops or shorts. Wow. I keep praying for the day the 30, 40, 50, 60 year old guys stop dressing like a 12 year old boy: flip flops, cargo shorts and baseball cap. If you are at the beach this is fine, but not for a date, a business meeting or a startup pitch.
December 21, 2011 at 7:15 pm
Perfecto! clasico. sencillo. elegante.
December 21, 2011 at 7:41 pm
handsome and very stylish
December 21, 2011 at 7:50 pm
I like this photo alot, pale blue shirt is nice with or without his great plaid odd jacket. Perhaps I’m a bit too conservative ( I am a Texan ) but I would prefer solid gray trousers with that jacket. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing flip-flops and my feet are probably my best feature. mr. john.

F*in BRILLIANT! His passion for menswear is absolutely endearing.
And of course, a stylish father begets a stylish son (two! including his shoe-store owning bro,) SOOO cute how he says that he only trusts his dad with his store, who flies in to help out. Fantastic style profile and so glad I stumbled upon this :D going to google what rope shoulder is…
December 22, 2011 at 12:14 am
He is very handsome. I’d share my Marvis toothpaste:)
Mr. Miller sets a fine example. I wish guys in their 30′s and 40′s would start dressing like ‘men’ again.
December 22, 2011 at 12:46 am

Fantastic interview. It’s always nice to read the details a true craftsman finds relevant, especially in clothing. It’s the easiest way to improved taste.

Very handsome and refined man with lots of refined habits…nice interview but I wish men like him would bring fashion (menswear) to common people…the stores his shops, brands his wear and etc its so not people with low paid salary…wish your fashionable people would bring fashion and style to real life…at the end of the day 90% of your readers and featured elegant and chic people are very but very rich.
January 3, 2012 at 1:12 am
I don’t get how Miller’s Oath is from 1906 and Kirk said he opened it a year ago? Barker Black – since 1880??
