Damn! I wish some of this guy would rub off on my husband…. He lives in flip flops and jeans… It’s taken me 3 weeks just to convince him to get a hair cut! Small steps I guess – Maybe I need to introduce small elements at one piece at a time, then by the time I’m 90 he’ll be looking good!

Hallelujah! A man who DOESN’T wear flip flops or shorts. Wow. I keep praying for the day the 30, 40, 50, 60 year old guys stop dressing like a 12 year old boy: flip flops, cargo shorts and baseball cap. If you are at the beach this is fine, but not for a date, a business meeting or a startup pitch.

I like this photo alot, pale blue shirt is nice with or without his great plaid odd jacket. Perhaps I’m a bit too conservative ( I am a Texan ) but I would prefer solid gray trousers with that jacket. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing flip-flops and my feet are probably my best feature. mr. john.

And of course, a stylish father begets a stylish son (two! including his shoe-store owning bro,) SOOO cute how he says that he only trusts his dad with his store, who flies in to help out. Fantastic style profile and so glad I stumbled upon this :D going to google what rope shoulder is…

This is one of the photos on the blog that I always come back to. It’s very inspirational. I don’t own a club collar shirt, nor do I have wool pinstripes trousers. I don’t have an odd jacket and if I did, I wouldn’t pair it with those pants. I typically wear knit or rep ties (on the skinnier side) and my watch is not nearly as cool as his. And yet, when I leave for work in the morning, in my button down oxford, sports jacket, and tie, I feel the way he looks…like it’s no big deal.
