I like the rounded collar shirt. I see this style so rarely worn, but this shows just how important is to wear something that represents you. Great interview!
Damn! I wish some of this guy would rub off on my husband…. He lives in flip flops and jeans… It’s taken me 3 weeks just to convince him to get a hair cut! Small steps I guess – Maybe I need to introduce small elements at one piece at a time, then by the time I’m 90 he’ll be looking good!
Hallelujah! A man who DOESN’T wear flip flops or shorts. Wow. I keep praying for the day the 30, 40, 50, 60 year old guys stop dressing like a 12 year old boy: flip flops, cargo shorts and baseball cap. If you are at the beach this is fine, but not for a date, a business meeting or a startup pitch.
I like this photo alot, pale blue shirt is nice with or without his great plaid odd jacket. Perhaps I’m a bit too conservative ( I am a Texan ) but I would prefer solid gray trousers with that jacket. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing flip-flops and my feet are probably my best feature. mr. john.
F*in BRILLIANT! His passion for menswear is absolutely endearing.
And of course, a stylish father begets a stylish son (two! including his shoe-store owning bro,) SOOO cute how he says that he only trusts his dad with his store, who flies in to help out. Fantastic style profile and so glad I stumbled upon this :D going to google what rope shoulder is… xoxo
Fantastic interview. It’s always nice to read the details a true craftsman finds relevant, especially in clothing. It’s the easiest way to improved taste.
Very handsome and refined man with lots of refined habits…nice interview but I wish men like him would bring fashion (menswear) to common people…the stores his shops, brands his wear and etc its so not people with low paid salary…wish your fashionable people would bring fashion and style to real life…at the end of the day 90% of your readers and featured elegant and chic people are very but very rich.
