Love, love, love your interviews. They are a treat. The subject of this profile, A. Codinha, has a great fashion sensibility and her clothes are quite proportional to her frame. I also want to reconnect with The Atlantic , per her suggestion.

Anyway, I really appreciate these profiles. Always lovely to read about the thought processes behind the clothes.

Love all these photos, but my favorite is still the first one. That smile along with the red jacket has to be one of the year’s best pairings!

The Atlantic is not a name heard often in fashion circles.
I completely agree about tape recorders being non-advantageous.
My mother loves Sucre.
I love these “Style Profiles”. I wish they were done for people who are not in the fashion industry, (maybe just a small one? I have so many questions after seeing a photograph; but I suppose it’s all part of the intrigue).

You show some of the most attractive people in the western world….but I’m saddened to see how many are smoking cigarettes which in my social circle is considered very infra dig.
December 21, 2011 at 6:10 am
Pues a mi me gusta lo que se vé por debajo de la chaqueta. Los puños de la camisa! Me gustaría ver la camisa entera!

Fantastic photos… so lovely and the last bracelet is wonderful!
December 21, 2011 at 7:28 am
Surprising that so many people like the Chanel jacket best, the hotpants and red jacket are just too much for me.. Love the white one and the blue dress myself.
@Imani: I agree, there are too many “visit my blog, too” links here, it gets so tedious

December 21, 2011 at 8:39 am
Great article! I love her outfits!
December 21, 2011 at 9:49 am
This is an excellent interview. I would definitely agree that you have to always be stepping outside of your comfort-zone to be truly ‘daring.’
December 21, 2011 at 11:59 am
Interesting to hear her cite Bianca Jagger as style icon, as she def has a little bit of a Bianca look: dark and smouldering, slightly panther-ish, a lean body made for pantsuits.
Although with those legs I’d be wearing hot pants with everything, all the time!! The great thing about having a body like that is that clothes that would look “daring” on others look perfectly fine, even natural.
December 21, 2011 at 12:40 pm
Love the interview! Her style and her attitude are very inspiring! And I completely agree with her take on buying quality! It will endure in almost every way!
December 21, 2011 at 3:06 pm
