That was the hardest I’ve laughed at a t-shirt ever. Would using that picture in an add incur any sort of problems from where ever that shirt came from? I’d love to see that shot used somewhere.
Perfection. Handsome, hilarious. I am at a loss for words to describe how delightful I find this picture. It is the ideal showcase for the glasses, and yet it is also an antidote to those who can sometimes take fashion too seriously. I hope editors, stylists, and designers will continue to be schooled by this site. ;-)
This is a great shot, Sart, from a purely technical point of view. However, I just don’t see the attraction. Nothing personal, but I would cross the street to avoid someone wearing that tee and those glasses.
Brilliant! I laughed out loud. A sunnily sly comment on the current Manhattan fashion accessory de rigueur: the baby in the Bjorn.
The necklace is smart because it’s truly 3-dimensional, which, sitting on top of the trompe l’oeil image of the baby, makes the piece of jewelry more ‘real’ than the baby.
Ha! That tee is so awesome (as are the glasses). The only thing that could have made this more awesome is if he said, “yah, that really is my kid too.” -h
Okay I saw a guy at my University that had the exact same shirt on today. One of the funniest shirts I’ve ever seen, what is the story behind the shirt and where is it from??
The t-shirt is from paul frank.. I have the same shirt, it always draws attention.. I think the shirt is from a limited collection ’cause I’ve never seen this shirt on anyone else but.. I got it from Finland though.
i think the glasses are louis vuitton. they are originally sunglasses. it looks like he got the lenses removed and replaced with prescription lenses. smart.
so awesome. i was just considering trompe l’oeil as a possible fashion trend the other day (don’t ask me where that came from). and the necklace is a smart accessory. whoever said they’d cross the street to avoid him- who could be scared of a man with such a sense of humor and coy grin?? one certainly couldn’t have a normal day wearing something like this.
also, am i the only other person who reads most of the comments before posting? i highly suggest doing so, before asking a question that’s been previously posted and answered seven other times :)
This is what new york fashion is all about. Induvidual style, and humor with such a creative edge. This young man doesn’t have to speak a word about his ideas and viewpoints. He gets it and ignores it at the same time. He needs to be at some of these boring dreadful magazines that could use a fresh approach

Proving that there IS a god(dess), such that one can look and have delivered this superior item for photographing.
It’s the chain, though, that “finishes” the look, and adds a wonderful dollop of the “look-twice” surreal.
