Love her coat and hat!
December 6, 2011 at 9:07 am
Wow this outfit is absolutely adorable! I specially love her colorful bracelets :)
December 6, 2011 at 9:12 am
WOW, she is beautiful and she seems a little scared and the photo seems so inspiration. If you get a chance I would love it if you checked out my blog, I have interesting fashion posts you might love to read.
December 6, 2011 at 9:15 am
I love everything (especially hat, vest, bracelets) except the shoes.
December 6, 2011 at 9:18 am
Is she shivering from cold or it’s just the pose?
Anyway, the sneakers are pretty cool!
December 6, 2011 at 9:20 am
Oh wow…. I love this. As the photo appeared, I loved what I saw (until the shoes). But who cares! What an outfit, and such beautiful light!
Great mik of styles…
December 6, 2011 at 9:21 am
Love the hat, the fur, the bracelets.. Strange though how what makes her unique are exactly the other clothing pieces.
December 6, 2011 at 9:22 am
looks like she is freezing :)
December 6, 2011 at 9:25 am
I love her hat and fur. Istanbul…..lovely memory.

Love her hat and bracelets. Not so sure about the lower part but a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do to stay warm and practical.

December 6, 2011 at 9:31 am
everything looks good on her except for the shoes, they don’t compliment what she’s wearing
December 6, 2011 at 9:41 am
Wow, I am so stealing this look. The bracelets are the kicker. I’m not sure about the sneakers, but they do add a modern & unexpected element to it.
December 6, 2011 at 9:43 am
up and coming fashionista
December 6, 2011 at 9:44 am
A modern coco chanel from the ankles up – she must have a commute!!
December 6, 2011 at 9:48 am
Love her hat and bag!
December 6, 2011 at 9:50 am
Wow, she’s beautiful. Not sure about the sneakers but I love the vest and the skirt!

Her shoes! Other than that, I love it.

December 6, 2011 at 9:56 am
How cute! Love her vest!
December 6, 2011 at 9:59 am
So cute! And the sneakers just crack me up!
quite a strange mix between “gosford park” and “a league of theyr own”: impressive.

She’ll catch some flack for the white hose and high-top sneakers. But her irreverence lets her get away with this outfit. As they say around these parts, “she’s got it going on.”
December 6, 2011 at 10:02 am
Not sure about her tights and shoes, but otherwise this is a gorgeous outfit. I really love her vest and hat. The color combination is warm and wonderful.
Which me will I be today
She exudes that old holloywood style. It’s nice to see that even in fashion comfort is an essential.

Scott! It’s an honour to have you in Istanbul. As one of your fans from Istanbul, I zealously follow your blog every day. Hope you enjoy your stay! Great shot btw. Keep hanging around in Galata and Cihangir!
December 6, 2011 at 10:14 am
I LOVE YOU…
December 6, 2011 at 10:24 am
Its a beautiful photo, and ahe is a very interesting subject. This is certainly not a look I would want to experiment with, but its very interesting. The city really is unattractive, which makes for an interesting background.
December 6, 2011 at 10:28 am
Actually, if it wasn’t for the super ugly shoes and socks it would be a pretty cute look, especially for an inexpensive one.
Chic outfit, love Istambul.
December 6, 2011 at 10:29 am
the bangles. oh the bangles…
They shot a final scene of one of my favourite movies “Girl on the bridge”, with Vanessa Paradis and Daniel Auteuil, on the Galata bridge !
She could be that girl too :)
December 6, 2011 at 10:32 am
gorgeous from the knees up….give her some grey tights and a pair of boots
December 6, 2011 at 10:45 am
Wow I love the fur vest. I posted on some faux fur vests yesterday! There is a really cheap one that H&M sells
December 6, 2011 at 10:49 am
Wooow ! I Like it <3 She is very beautiful and stylish!

December 6, 2011 at 11:14 am
I love how stacked and lined up everything seems in the background of this shot — from the soda and water bottles in the lower left to the garage doors in the middle left to the bay windows in the upper left (the windows in the same hue as the chestnut in her outfit) — I love this.

Looks like the hand has been photoshoped?
December 6, 2011 at 11:26 am
I’m in love with this look down to the ankles, but I’m assuming she’s between work and home or something, because the rest of her outfit is so chic. Drooling over that vest…and the bracelets!
December 6, 2011 at 11:30 am
I love the details in this look– the shoes, the vest, the bangles.
December 6, 2011 at 11:42 am
was she originally holding a cigarette ?!
December 6, 2011 at 11:45 am
She’s soo cute :)
December 6, 2011 at 11:53 am
I love her attitude and the colors.
December 6, 2011 at 12:02 pm
Wonderful colours & lights!
December 6, 2011 at 12:11 pm
I love it but she’s ruined it with the shoes. Could have been one ‘to die for’ outfit. But to each their own!
December 6, 2011 at 12:40 pm
I die for that hat. I wish more women would wear hats like these. So vintage, so beautiful.

December 6, 2011 at 1:55 pm
Her looks remind me of Angelina Jolie from Changeling!! Very nice look!
December 6, 2011 at 2:09 pm
mother + daughter= her style =)
December 6, 2011 at 2:18 pm
I love grey and beige together, and with the fur vest, it just kicks.
December 6, 2011 at 2:28 pm
I love the backlit hair. It makes her light up even tho she is cold.
I actually like the sneakers on the bottom. Same colour as tights so lengthens her leg. They help to make her look 21st century rather than from the 1920′s which would be nearly a century out!
December 6, 2011 at 2:39 pm
As a long time follower, welcome to Istanbul. Although not the perfect time I hope you enjoy it. Ckeck Bagdat Avenue as well.

j’adore ces bracelets =)
December 6, 2011 at 3:43 pm
I’m totally in until it comes to the white tights and sneakers. Then I’m out. I think I’d go tights in eggplant with grey suede booties.
December 6, 2011 at 3:47 pm
I like her mixed style, I like specially her vintage hat.
December 6, 2011 at 3:56 pm
Damn shoes! Ruined it.
December 6, 2011 at 4:14 pm
huge fan…especially from the waist up! :)
December 6, 2011 at 7:02 pm
beautiful woman! just wish she had chosen something else instead of those socks&shoes!
December 6, 2011 at 8:01 pm
Beautiful shot. I love the light!

Not sure I love it all paired with those sneakers but really she has a easy cool bohemian style that is fun.
December 6, 2011 at 9:21 pm
Her hat and skirt have an awesome vintage vibe! Love the fur vest too… just not really understanding the look from her knees down.

December 7, 2011 at 2:04 am
something so magical about this shot, stunning!
December 7, 2011 at 2:39 am
Everything down to the knee is so chic. The socks and sneakers are kind of throwing me off though. Maybe with some camel color Mary Janes and an awesome pair of flats.
December 7, 2011 at 3:43 am
Back off the Lady! She’s beautiful, the shot formidable. Enough already!
December 7, 2011 at 4:02 am
Hello…I am inlove with your photos and with the beauty of them…the light in this photo is just amazing….
Love at first sight♥
December 7, 2011 at 5:33 am
i really love her oufit! i love how she has mixed different styles, a retro look (hat, bag, fur) with sports shoes. great style!!!
December 7, 2011 at 6:01 am
She loooks like a Parisian girl from the decade of ’30s
December 7, 2011 at 6:28 am
Galata is such a fashionable neighborhood, I love this girls look. Especially the shoes!
December 7, 2011 at 8:35 am
On the streets.. interesting combination she made with those shoes

December 7, 2011 at 9:10 am

December 7, 2011 at 9:23 am

December 7, 2011 at 6:08 pm
I love the shoes with the white tights. What a beautiful contrast that just works so well.
December 7, 2011 at 9:02 pm
Your pictures have always reminded me of August Sander – one of the greats.
December 7, 2011 at 10:43 pm
Vintage style + sport shoes. What a lovely contrast. I think she looks gorgeous.
December 8, 2011 at 2:00 am
The light coming through the bottom of her skirt draws the soul into the sun and makes this photograph absolute permeance for me.
December 8, 2011 at 3:33 am
I am very curious where have you been in Istanbul Scott?
December 8, 2011 at 12:39 pm
I can’t believe everyone doesn’t adore the contrast of the shoes. I think they are what makes the outfit really stand out
December 8, 2011 at 3:01 pm
have you got her phone number ;-)?

i MISS ISTANBUL from NYC!
December 9, 2011 at 1:48 pm
Great shot. Though an unconventional look, I kind of like the vintage + sneakers combo. She makes it work.
December 9, 2011 at 8:01 pm
why did you edit out her cigarette? I understand that many people dont like it. but was this a photo shoot or was it a photo-journalistic shot? i would have left it in, it would have seemed more realistic.

Very interesting subject, appreciate it for putting up.
