I love all this layering! You were just showing us a couple of weeks ago I think long cardigans and short coats, this is another great example of that!
I love the autumn feel of this shot! And the way this girl layers is great, too. I never really went for having the longer shirt underneath, but if you have the right shirts, it can obviously work.
Lovely girl! Not well-dressed though, very “American” looking aka unable to pull all the dispirit elements together in a chic, cool way. Most of the time when I look at one of your photos, Scott, I can guess the country by the subject’s ability to pull off the clothing combination. The photograph, however (composition, lighting etc) is chic and cool.
WOW, she looks gorgeous and the simple layering just brings out her beauty even more. I would love it if you checked out my blog, I have interesting fashion posts you might love to read.
Now, this is style… this young woman has layered perfectly nice but individually unexceptional items to create a striking outfit that look terrific on her.
her look is pretty much like the kids in the Supreme-commercials. fresh new york-look. especially her natural beauty with it. what’s up with the people who write thier comments in like french and italian? let’s global-it up- im from the dard woods in sweden haha..
I think that comments saying she looks unstylish and overtly American are a bit silly. Yes, she does not look European, but that doesn’t mean her style doesn’t look good. People n Tokio also do not dress Euro but I’d say Japan is a style icon… can’t we just recognize that there is not one ‘it’ look? Also, does anyone know what bag that is?! I have seen one like it in Toronto and wanted it immediately!
THIS IS AN AMAZING PICTURE ON THE STREETS OF WASHINGTON SQUARE STREET..THE GIRL WITH HER SIMPLE STYLE IS REALLY PRETTY WITH HER STUNNING LOOKS..THE OUTFITS ALONG WITH HER BAG ADDS TO HER BEAUTY..THE BEST SUITE AND COSTUME FOR SUCH WEATHER..

No, I don’t like the denim jacket on the rest. It seems it is too cold.
The Life After
The Color, the Color, the Color of it all
November 25, 2011 at 10:18 am
This is a great picture.
Here’s why: the brown trim on her bag matches the brown of her hair, her brown cardigan and even the leaves in the background.
Denim blue jacket matches the color of the ROAD.
Black bag + black pants + black boots = Match.
Of course, a pop of red at the top plus a gorgeous mien are great too. Icing on the cake.
And the best thing is – this is something that someone like me (and you) would and could wear.
