I absolutely LOVE that first look! The print, the navy, the necklace around the puss-bow, and simply elegant cuff and clutch…brilliant!

If the woman in the first pic hasn’t worked as a model I’ll eat my shoe. Perfectly accessorised and perfect outfit. I don’t mean I’d like to wear it but I can see how good it is on her.
The women in the second pic look very good too; the colours are so vivid and a joy to look at.
November 21, 2011 at 8:31 pm
both girls look good in that style, they wear it well

That second shot is an absolutely incredible outfit – so lovely!

Those sheer blouses are such gems. x
November 21, 2011 at 9:32 pm
The first picture is just ‘wow’. I love her styling. Black and blue with a touch of gold. Something I need to try!
November 21, 2011 at 9:37 pm
I’m really into the first picture – just can’t get enough of how she’s decided to wear golden hardware with a loose chiffon top. It looks crazily phenomenal!!!!
November 21, 2011 at 9:38 pm
the navy shorts in the second shot were my go-to shorts of the summer – only $20 at h&m!
I love the first photo. The way she contrasts against the white background is stunning, and the blues and golds she is wearing are beautiful. Very chic.
November 21, 2011 at 9:40 pm
Lovely looks, but subtle? Perhaps in New York, but it would be risque here in the Midwest.
Love the peekaboo tops. The sheer element is provocative yet the styles are conservative.
November 21, 2011 at 9:47 pm
Beautiful… I love The Sartorialist; but am I the only one that has noticed the absence of “full-bodied” women in any of his pictures??
November 21, 2011 at 9:52 pm
Love the gold with the nave in the first one. So chic!
November 21, 2011 at 9:55 pm
I love the first look. Very sophisticated.
November 21, 2011 at 9:56 pm
The photo on top allows me to feel as if I’m right next to this beautiful woman, not sure how you did that. The sheer top is ultra feminine. I wish I was going to the same place as the woman in top photo!
November 21, 2011 at 9:57 pm
The gold necklace in the upper picture looks really nice. Well, both of them do!

Any tips for bustier girls on how to pull this off? Every single time I try I end up looking trashy, so I give up and wear something else..
November 21, 2011 at 10:12 pm
I love all three outfits. Thin, seethru fabric is lovely and sensual. Wearing it just feels good. Its much better when its more subtle like this.
November 21, 2011 at 10:14 pm
I absolutely love the top and it goes so well either with pants for a more professional look or with shorts for more casual outings.
November 21, 2011 at 10:19 pm
I’m in alberta, canada right now and there is about 1 foot of snow on the ground, i miss these summer clothes very much!
November 21, 2011 at 10:20 pm
The woman in black has such an elegance, she wears everything perfectly, her shirt while sheer is done tastefully due to her not too revealing bra. Love this look, great pic!
November 21, 2011 at 10:26 pm
The first shot is divine. Only a very slim girl can pull this off – and in a creative field. She looks very chic.
November 21, 2011 at 10:29 pm
That first girl looks so beautifully stylish and I love how natural the 2nd girl looks.
November 21, 2011 at 10:38 pm
I love how both can appear classy even when they’re showing that much skin. It’s something about their composure and in the way they wear it.
November 21, 2011 at 10:42 pm
both girls look lovely. the top one is a really nice, unique look. the details are gorgeous. in the bottom photo, the girl on the left’s shirt/skirt combo is great!
November 21, 2011 at 11:15 pm
The first one is not so subtle. However, I love the second one. What a great look!
November 21, 2011 at 11:28 pm
so into the sheer trend. why did it have to come out in fall/winter? :( haha.
Love the top girl! Midnight blue and gold is such a good combo, and I love the gold accents in way of jewelry!
November 21, 2011 at 11:41 pm
love it. it’s sexy without being tacky
November 21, 2011 at 11:51 pm
Is that first girl trying to look like Olivia Palermo? The hair, the accessories, the style? Not quite there yet
November 22, 2011 at 12:51 am
The first look is just exquisite !!!
November 22, 2011 at 1:26 am

SO lovely print this girl have on her top. It could be worn with a so amazing white jean from Diesel or a Chino from Chloé too

Love the first picture, she really nails the sheer navy and gold accessories (esp the one around her neck!). Nice photographs though I wish to see more of sheer on streets!
November 22, 2011 at 9:34 am
Gorgeous tops and prints.
November 22, 2011 at 9:35 am
Wow…that first pic is so sexy and elegant at the same time! Something about the demure neckline and understated jewelry..I absolutely love it!
I love the first woman’s use of a sheer top, paired with a more conservative look. I’ve given up on rompers though, most look like sleepwear or children’s apparel.

November 22, 2011 at 12:30 pm
Love the look of the woman in the first photo. The material makes it sexy, but the cut and fit are more conservative. A great way to use contrast.
November 22, 2011 at 12:38 pm
The first woman is flawless in all her Parisian splendor. Trés chic!
November 22, 2011 at 12:40 pm

I think the first picture looks lovely!
Both the combination of semi-transparent shirt with pants, as the choice of accessories, the whole outfit seems perfect to me.

The first photo is of Glamour Accessories Editor Maria Duenas Jacobs, looking gorgeous as always.
November 24, 2011 at 3:25 pm
I love the heavy gold jewelry. Its especially lovely in that first picture. The second picture is super pretty. I keep looking at the lovely sky blue. But its going to be a LONG LONG time before I can wear anything like that where I live. Its c-c-c c cold.
November 24, 2011 at 6:53 pm
