So serious but so pretty! Fun Shoes!!
Love it. Though, her top could do with being longer.
November 15, 2011 at 9:03 pm
The sheer shirt is so pretty! I can’t honestly say I’m a huge fan of the shoes / shorts combination though…
November 15, 2011 at 9:20 pm
Is this near Harajuku station? I think I recognize that crosswalk above the street . . . Love the “creepers”.
I love the shoes, they make the outfit. What designer are they???
November 15, 2011 at 9:25 pm
interesting expression. can’t quite figure it out, but she does look nice!
Gorgeous colors. Pink and orange rule.

Love her slightly bored and disdainful facial expression! It’s the attitude that makes this shot.
November 15, 2011 at 10:19 pm
WOW. Just when I was going to give up on Tokyo all together, here we have something great! Those creepers go so well with the black shorts, and the peach shirt, and her blond hair! NO anime character, NO little goth girl, NO blond tan barbie doll, or anything else equally stupid! NO mushroom hat! She is just being a human!!!! Ah mazing.
November 15, 2011 at 10:29 pm
i’ve been seeing these shoes a lot lately and i love them
November 15, 2011 at 10:36 pm
I remember another photo of this young woman from months ago. She wore the beautiful eyelashes right? If this is the same person, I have to say, I think this hair color is beautiful, modern and daring. She just looks cool and with it.
November 15, 2011 at 10:46 pm
Between her hair, her lipstick, and what she’s wearing, all the colors at play here work really nicely together. On a more micro level, I just love her shoes and how she’s wearing them.

I am not sure about the shorts here but I love the color of the shirt.
November 15, 2011 at 11:36 pm
I love this photo! I like the coral shade of her shirt, and those shoes are fabulous- I haven’t seen something so different for a long time.

Great shoes and shorts!
November 16, 2011 at 12:09 am
Love her shoes!
She’s thinking: “Why are you taking a picture of me…?”
Great photo by the way ^^

I don’t come to your blog to see the fashions, but rather to see some of the best street/ environmental portraits on the web. You never disappoint. Thanks.

To be honest, I’m not crazy about the general outfit going on here. However, if anyone is going to look alright in that, it’s this girl and her ‘I’m not trying, but I look hip anyway’ self.

I love her shoes!

Don’t get me wrong, I love the pic, I like her style.
But why, oh why, do the Asian girls with those beautiful straight, dark, shiny hair, go on and dye it in colours who totally mess it up?
Boof, sorry for my nagging, it’s just that I am envious of the Asian (Japanese in particular) elegance sometimes.
Kisses from Greece!

Those Japanese girl with blonde hair..why do they look so good?! Also love that she’s wearing masculine shoes

She looks so mysterious, I love it that I can’t figure her out. She has that playful edge vibe and those shoes are seriously something. I would love it if you checked out my blog, I have interesting fashion posts you might love to read. I have a new post on leather and knits, love to here what you think of it.
November 16, 2011 at 5:31 am
The shoes are Prada. No? As far as I know they were around for a season, maybe two, and no longer available. Love them.
November 16, 2011 at 5:33 am
The lippy resonates in the colour pop of the shoes. A very pretty but melancholic look
November 16, 2011 at 6:04 am
I adore this! The feminine, sheer, pastel blouse teamed with the dark, completely relaxed and boyish shorts, is a brilliant combination. Her moody, i-don’t-care attitude and weird shoes complete the look perfectly.
November 16, 2011 at 6:06 am
Simple and relaxed outfit, ready for a walk in a park, it’s so Tokio!

Very cool ‘citrus’ outfit, with grapefruit and tangerine at the top and bottom of the look. If you have simple vintage athletic shorts it’s pretty easy to dress them up with something tailored or something delicate, which she executes perfectly in this photo.
November 16, 2011 at 8:52 am
Love her sassy look.. Like she would really fight someone and smile in their face the whole time..

November 17, 2011 at 5:13 pm
I simply adore that pink…
November 17, 2011 at 10:33 pm
Why wouldn’t an Asian woman die her hair? What a weird question. Its about the same as asking why anyone would die their hair. Why would a blond woman die her hair? Especially when so many people want to be blond? Or why would a red haired woman die her hair when so many people want red hair? Just because they want to do something different.
