I wonder… did the rest of these 2 women’s appearance differ significantly? It is interesting, by cropping the picture as you did, it becomes quite a statement on conformity.

i love these photos.beautiful

I’m sorry to say but when you isolate the shoes like this, the trendy bootie-platforms look pretty dreadful. Glad that your picture points this out (I personally don’t care for them for just this reason…) Nice job,

Those Gucci’s are haunting me with the little metal front bumpers – I love the shoes and the boots (pictured in the past). Sadly, the price makes me screech to a halt.

They ALL look good to me.

Channeling László Moholy-Nagy a little in that first one. Nice! :-)

I am powerfully reminded of the scene in Roald Dahl’s The Witches when all the witches turn up for a big conference – I bet they looked like this rushing up the stairs. I know its a bit early for halloween but still….

As if I needed any more convincing that a beautiful stiletto could take a great pair of legs to the next level…
Beautiful shots, both of them.
October 17, 2007 at 2:54 pm
genius work, love how the way that you cropped it shows how entrenched the fashion uniform is
by the way, the girls in photo 1 are scarily skiny.

first picture: melanie huynh’s hot legs!! lolloving the shoes <3
October 17, 2007 at 4:02 pm
i love them all, but on a practical note — is there anyway to ensure one with less grace than them would not slip and crack some bones while wearing those shoes? If people know the secret, please let me in on it.

Love those photos! Great! Amazing! And the shoes are all so beautiful!
October 17, 2007 at 6:06 pm
the blue booties are adorable.
peep toes are horrible for rainy weather. yuck!
October 17, 2007 at 6:47 pm
Such stick thin legs in picture one, accentuated by the booties! But I do covet those metallic green peep-toe pumps, they look amazing.

Do all women in Milan have legs like these? They look fantastic

I love these shots! Immediately give you the notion of motion (rhyme intended) and fashion commotion!
October 18, 2007 at 11:59 am
Great photos, but I just hate the spike heels and giant bags hanging down.
October 18, 2007 at 8:46 pm
Oh my God I love these shots! The shoes, the angle, the movement…
October 18, 2007 at 9:11 pm
great creative shots…you can almost imagine what the ladies look like. Considering many women love shoes, this is a nice tribute to us!

Pic 1- When I first saw these Marc Jacob shoes (purple) I though they were dreadful and never imagined they could look this great! But she obviously doesn’t want to keep them if shes wearing satin shoes in the rain. And the Gucci ancle boots look fabuliously agressive…. love itPic 2- What well dressed woman wears opentoed shoes on a rainy day? I love the pair with graduated green colouring. Mind you, they are both holding beautiful handbags
October 21, 2011 at 12:16 pm
Beautiful shoes. I LOVE wearing open toed shoes in rainy weather. Especially platforms. Its always sexy to wear something unexpected for the weather. Just a little bit impractical. That way it doesn’t feel like our mommy dressed us.
October 21, 2011 at 12:19 pm
LOL! I have fallen down plenty of times in my life, and never broken anything. Lord, some people are just afraid of life. Its ok to get wet, its ok to get cold, and its ok to fall down. Do ‘t let that rule how you live or how you dress.

Mr Scott Schulman is, without debate, a Leg Man. This site might be called The Leg-ophile. I’m a bit surprised these leg shots don’t have their own category but I suppose it would entail 55% of the photography…
