I wonder… did the rest of these 2 women’s appearance differ significantly? It is interesting, by cropping the picture as you did, it becomes quite a statement on conformity.

I’m sorry to say but when you isolate the shoes like this, the trendy bootie-platforms look pretty dreadful. Glad that your picture points this out (I personally don’t care for them for just this reason…) Nice job,

Those Gucci’s are haunting me with the little metal front bumpers – I love the shoes and the boots (pictured in the past). Sadly, the price makes me screech to a halt.

I am powerfully reminded of the scene in Roald Dahl’s The Witches when all the witches turn up for a big conference – I bet they looked like this rushing up the stairs. I know its a bit early for halloween but still….

genius work, love how the way that you cropped it shows how entrenched the fashion uniform is

by the way, the girls in photo 1 are scarily skiny.

i love them all, but on a practical note — is there anyway to ensure one with less grace than them would not slip and crack some bones while wearing those shoes? If people know the secret, please let me in on it.

Such stick thin legs in picture one, accentuated by the booties! But I do covet those metallic green peep-toe pumps, they look amazing.

Pic 1- When I first saw these Marc Jacob shoes (purple) I though they were dreadful and never imagined they could look this great! But she obviously doesn’t want to keep them if shes wearing satin shoes in the rain. And the Gucci ancle boots look fabuliously agressive…. love it
Pic 2- What well dressed woman wears opentoed shoes on a rainy day? I love the pair with graduated green colouring. Mind you, they are both holding beautiful handbags

Beautiful shoes. I LOVE wearing open toed shoes in rainy weather. Especially platforms. Its always sexy to wear something unexpected for the weather. Just a little bit impractical. That way it doesn’t feel like our mommy dressed us.

LOL! I have fallen down plenty of times in my life, and never broken anything. Lord, some people are just afraid of life. Its ok to get wet, its ok to get cold, and its ok to fall down. Do ‘t let that rule how you live or how you dress.

Mr Scott Schulman is, without debate, a Leg Man. This site might be called The Leg-ophile. I’m a bit surprised these leg shots don’t have their own category but I suppose it would entail 55% of the photography…
