I own that blue dress! My summer uniform.
October 28, 2011 at 8:22 pm
Aw, that is so sweet (despite the non-smiling expression on the daughter’s face), what a stylish mother-daughter team!
October 28, 2011 at 8:23 pm
This Picture is Fantastic…Mother Daughter..and Dichotomy between the Two…
October 28, 2011 at 8:29 pm
The Mother’s style is so much more funkier than the daughter’s. Those glasses are super-vintage and yet super-cool. The girl’s dress is somewhat boring though!
October 28, 2011 at 8:31 pm
I love the daughter’s simple dress and boots. simply chic.
October 28, 2011 at 8:34 pm
Wow , this is beautiful.

See? I knew it! There’s something in the water in Paris. I don’t know which one is chicer. Love them!
October 28, 2011 at 9:04 pm
I love this moment in time. Both women are so stylish and so different from one another. It is inspiring to see style at any age.
October 28, 2011 at 9:13 pm
Love both of them <3

i wish my mother was this cool to wear something nice when we go out…She only wears men t-shirts, and bandanas….she is too beautiful for all of that.

I love that the daughter has her “too cool for school” face on–but is hugging her mom tight. That’s a really sweet photo.

I love seeing mother’s a daughter’s together. It’s so fascinating to see the similarities of looks and style. These are a gorgeous pair! They say if you want to see how a girl will turn out, look at her mother.
October 29, 2011 at 1:38 am
They both have great style, although i will never understand young girls’ obsession with pouting in photos. a smile is much more natural and beautiful…and i’m only 25!
October 29, 2011 at 1:39 am
The mother is verrry cool! Love her ambience:)
October 29, 2011 at 1:53 am
The mother is fierce!

You can see where the daughter has the feeling for fashion from.
Both effortless elegant in their own way…
Super chic mother!

PDA for the most important woman in your life is cool. Don’t outgrow it. Because one day you might just regret it.
The daughter has a Brigitte Bardot/Claudia Schiffer pout. Up and coming model, perhaps? In any case, warms my heart to see shots of this ilk. Keep ‘em coming.
October 29, 2011 at 5:31 am
Just one word: stunning!
October 29, 2011 at 6:03 am
Hey Scott, it’s Fonelle. Funny to see this photo, i recognize my blue dress (from H&M, for ou five years ago), and also my boots (Celine, this season) on that so so young girl!!!
I can’t wear those things together because of my age, but it is so beautifull.

Inherited style…very Parisian
October 29, 2011 at 8:34 am
The mother’s truly ageless style is beautiful to me. x
October 29, 2011 at 8:46 am
Beautiful shot, and lovely relationship between them. But, it does look a little like the mother has been shot. Perhaps it’s part of her bracelet?
October 29, 2011 at 9:47 am
This one of my favourite pictures by you lately.. Though i am quite the sucker for mother-daughter pictures :)
October 29, 2011 at 9:59 am
I LOVE this photo. I think you are really onto something with the mother/daughter series!! Is good taste inherited or do you learn style sensibilities from your parents?
October 29, 2011 at 11:09 am
They look great. Both have such wonderful style.
October 29, 2011 at 11:27 am
One of my favorite pictures !!!
October 29, 2011 at 12:16 pm
I agree – more Mothers and Daughters. (Very Comptoir des Cotonniers, I know) but it would be appreciated. Gives daughters something to aspire to and keeps mothers ‘on their toes’.
October 29, 2011 at 12:28 pm
This is such a cute picture!
October 29, 2011 at 12:31 pm
Cool pants and awesome dress!
October 29, 2011 at 12:34 pm
The mother has great fashion sense-wish my mom was like that! If you look closely, she has an odd red blob slightly covered by her arm! Hmmmm…
October 29, 2011 at 12:44 pm
I love this picture!! It makes me dream that someday I will be walking with my daughter through the streets of Paris. Both very stylish in our own way.
It will be great if you can make a special post of mother-daughter of all ages.
October 29, 2011 at 1:15 pm
the pout looks a bit forced/fake, the mother is just amazing otherwise!
October 29, 2011 at 1:31 pm
Hope my daughter and I look as stylish and as comfortable together these two by the time we reach their age. Both look like they are comfortable with who they are !
October 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm
wow awsome i love it
October 29, 2011 at 2:14 pm
The mom’s sunglasses really pop and her sandals are unique. I love stylish moms.

October 29, 2011 at 2:47 pm
The mother’s style is absolutely amazing. It is so hard to come across stylish pictures of women of a certain age in North America. It would be soooo nice if more women of all ages dressed well like the Europeans do. I absolutely love her smile, the super large sunglasses, her sandals, jewelry and clothes. What I also admire is the more natural way these women groom themselves, no big hair, and being fit. Thank you for your amazing blog.
October 29, 2011 at 3:49 pm
I like pics like that!
Light blue dreesy shirt seems nice..!
October 29, 2011 at 4:12 pm
Love them. The mother is off the chain stylish!!!!!!. The daughter simple and gorgeous
October 29, 2011 at 6:10 pm
I think the mother looks quite chic, but that dress on the daughter looks like something my four year old granddaughter might wear.
October 29, 2011 at 6:56 pm
adore the oversize round sunnies!
October 29, 2011 at 8:07 pm
Fashionable mom,. Fashionable daughter. Captured a very nice moment here… loved it!
October 30, 2011 at 2:10 am
Wow those sunnies are really big! ^^
You can just feel the love between you two.
LOVE IT :P
October 30, 2011 at 2:29 am
So compelling. I cannot help but stare inappropriately at mothers with daughters on the street. Just so fascinating. This is a fabulous example, even if daughter is pouty.
October 30, 2011 at 6:20 am
hideously beautiful…the daughter is missing a stuffed winnie the pooh
October 30, 2011 at 8:17 am
THIS IS ADORABLE <3 I love your mother-dughter posts
October 30, 2011 at 11:24 am
Anyone know the brand of shoes the mother is wearing?
October 30, 2011 at 12:25 pm
I like what the mom is wearing, a nice neutral palette, with the pants looking so crisp. Also, the daughter has that Lolita look going (no I don’t mean the Japanese Lolita, but the Nabokov one).
October 30, 2011 at 3:34 pm
such a great capture of a mother daughter relationship!
and they are a fashionable duo at that!
October 30, 2011 at 4:13 pm
I love this photo. The young girl is like Barbara Palvin :) <3
October 30, 2011 at 7:02 pm
my four year old daughter highly rated the pouty daughter in this shot and requested a similar rigout. if thats a fake bloodstain on the shirt of the mum, her look is a winner for the unexpected subversion and if its a real one she should get to a+ e quick! This is a captivating shot because of that half hidden splodge of red and the eccentric sunglasses. unnerving!
October 31, 2011 at 2:50 am
Adore the maman. Raiding my wardrobe to attempt similar look. Love big, chunky bracelet on her right wrist (holding the bag).
October 31, 2011 at 7:12 am

October 31, 2011 at 9:39 am

Kisses from here then!
October 31, 2011 at 1:29 pm
They could be on the mother daughter comptoir des cotonniers campaign, the mother has got some fierce style with the high waisted bouffant pants and the gigantic bug sunglasses!
October 31, 2011 at 2:48 pm
Both super stylish!
October 31, 2011 at 2:59 pm
I have that H&M dress from summer 2007. I wore it to my 30th birthday party but didn’t have the audacity to pair it with a heel. Maybe I still have time to pull it off!

this is very sweet!! Stylish mom!
October 31, 2011 at 10:13 pm
Oh for goodness sakes. The red shape on the mothers shirt is pretty obviously her pendant. Try and learn to identify shapes, people. And if you can’t figure out something really simple like that, at least be ashamed.
