i love that the jeans look so raw, the texture is so natural.

Loose cardigans are a staple of French menswear. Paired with a shirt or just a t-shirt they always do the trick!

After looking at people today, I think I like too long sleeves. Yes, I know most men seem to like slightly short fit with the shirt showing. But it somehow looks too tidy. I saw a guy with a way oversized sweater, so it covered a lot of his hands today, and I couldn’t help but notice how much more youthful and sexy it was. Kind of like a little kid in a way, but nice. So the looseness is good!

I have a cardigan that’s a little looser but I don’t wear it as often as the others in my closet. I’m not super duper keen on how it makes me look being 5’7” and all. I’m trying to stay lean looking! Haha

Love the cuffs! Exactly how I wear my jeans.

great silhouette, understated elegance

I really love how passionate you are about details!
Sometimes it’s the whole setup of a look and sometimes it really are just those little things that make an impact on a look that at first sight might seem not too extraordinary…..
and also agree with the sleeve lenght commentary from Martine…

Love the entire look… I’m especially in love with the jeans and boots! So classically rebellious!
October 31, 2011 at 5:54 pm
I like this! I feel it is also a bit narcissistic saying this though, because this man is basically a male version of how I dress: short boots, dark straight-leg jeans, and a cardi. I also used to stick to more form-fitting cardigans, but looser ones are so much comfier, and easier to wear long sleeves under for cold days!

i adore colette…nice eye sart!!!

Yeap, loose cardigans are cool. But NOT loose pants.

What an amazing cardigan!
the cuff on the pants is a little too short for me though!

I love a man in a cardigan at any age. But what happen to those two wonderful photos of our favorite female photographer that were up a few moments ago?
October 31, 2011 at 6:21 pm
Nice candid shot. Love his rolled-up jeans and boots.
I find cardigans on men very sexy.

i hate buttoned cardigans! my brother wears them and i always shout at him, i think people think cardigans can be used as a type of waistcoat and i disagree with this, if i ever wear a cardigan its always unbuttoned :)

I highly dislike fitted cardigans. I tend to buy them a size up or fitted baggy. I like things to look refined, but still casual, which makes things look effortless.
October 31, 2011 at 9:56 pm
hahha im seeing a trend here in the backs of mens shirts…
October 31, 2011 at 10:27 pm
Slice of shirt, slice of sock, slice of skin. I see a deliberate theme here.

I find very few things sexier than a man in a cardigan. End of story.

yes, thank you! the whole look – not skin-tight- it’s about time and i hope that more of this happens on the streets. he’s got a good look, stylish and contemporary without looking like he’s rocking tights and a sweater that was accidentally put in the dryer. bravo!
November 1, 2011 at 2:57 am
I tend not to button up my cardigan because I feel crushed when I do it, even though they’re not tight on me. And I don’t like to hide the dress/shirt I wear underneath. I wonder if that guy would mind..^^
November 1, 2011 at 7:32 am
I love the way he adjusted his jeans! Looks so effortless stylish!
November 1, 2011 at 7:49 am
You can only see a glimpse of his socks, but i think em make the whole outfit.

I like to play with lenghts as well… and those few “white centimeters” are everything but casual. :)

what a style
November 1, 2011 at 10:13 am
Frankly. I have no idea why everyone likes this.
I don’t like it in the least. sorry.
It looks sloppy and unkempt.
November 1, 2011 at 10:18 am
I haven’t a clue why everyone likes this?
It looks slipshod and messy.
Just my opinion. brutal.

November 1, 2011 at 12:42 pm
I LOVE LOOSE CARDIGANS .. EVEN IN WOMAN LOOKS GREAT!
November 1, 2011 at 3:17 pm
I’m enamored of the hint of skin peeking between his denim cuff and sock.
November 1, 2011 at 6:47 pm
The jeans and converse are a perfect match!
November 2, 2011 at 9:08 am
I love his boots…. fantastic!
November 2, 2011 at 10:24 am
I love how this takes the jeans and t-shirt combo somewhere less American with a simple cuff of the leg and that wonderful deep blue cardigan.
November 2, 2011 at 6:52 pm
love his style!

This is exactly what I look like from behind. It’s kind of trippy, to be honest. Sometimes I start to show concern for my style when I constantly wear oversized cardigans but I’m pleased to see it has a Parisian undertone. Love it.

The slice of white shirt is the most important part of any casual outfit in my view ! It always bugs me when i look down to see my t-shirt has disappeared under my jumper ! !
