After looking at people today, I think I like too long sleeves. Yes, I know most men seem to like slightly short fit with the shirt showing. But it somehow looks too tidy. I saw a guy with a way oversized sweater, so it covered a lot of his hands today, and I couldn’t help but notice how much more youthful and sexy it was. Kind of like a little kid in a way, but nice. So the looseness is good!
I have a cardigan that’s a little looser but I don’t wear it as often as the others in my closet. I’m not super duper keen on how it makes me look being 5’7” and all. I’m trying to stay lean looking! Haha
I really love how passionate you are about details!
Sometimes it’s the whole setup of a look and sometimes it really are just those little things that make an impact on a look that at first sight might seem not too extraordinary…..
and also agree with the sleeve lenght commentary from Martine…
I like this! I feel it is also a bit narcissistic saying this though, because this man is basically a male version of how I dress: short boots, dark straight-leg jeans, and a cardi. I also used to stick to more form-fitting cardigans, but looser ones are so much comfier, and easier to wear long sleeves under for cold days!
I love a man in a cardigan at any age. But what happen to those two wonderful photos of our favorite female photographer that were up a few moments ago?
i hate buttoned cardigans! my brother wears them and i always shout at him, i think people think cardigans can be used as a type of waistcoat and i disagree with this, if i ever wear a cardigan its always unbuttoned :)
I highly dislike fitted cardigans. I tend to buy them a size up or fitted baggy. I like things to look refined, but still casual, which makes things look effortless.
yes, thank you! the whole look – not skin-tight- it’s about time and i hope that more of this happens on the streets. he’s got a good look, stylish and contemporary without looking like he’s rocking tights and a sweater that was accidentally put in the dryer. bravo!
I tend not to button up my cardigan because I feel crushed when I do it, even though they’re not tight on me. And I don’t like to hide the dress/shirt I wear underneath. I wonder if that guy would mind..^^
This is exactly what I look like from behind. It’s kind of trippy, to be honest. Sometimes I start to show concern for my style when I constantly wear oversized cardigans but I’m pleased to see it has a Parisian undertone. Love it.

Loose cardigans are a staple of French menswear. Paired with a shirt or just a t-shirt they always do the trick!
