I love the tailoring of the jacket! I also love how it is slightly military inspired due to the great color combinations and the build of the jacket. Great shots!

Love the jacket!!!
Military Tailoring is so timeless!!!
Understated military is perfect when you’re that good looking :)
October 24, 2011 at 4:38 pm
I think it’s more refined, modern and comfortable-casual tailoring as opposed to the conventional/classic men tailoring we all tend to impose in our minds; i guess it is a bit more easy-going, and self-spoken in one’s personal aeshtetic and “comfort zone”, in contrast to a work-uniform perspective…

Nice jacket, good length and looks to have working cuffs. However, just because this is green does not make it military tailoring IMO. Confident pose so guy gets bonus points for this.
October 24, 2011 at 6:08 pm
Timelessly chic & sexy.

I love that look.. i will show it to my husband!
October 24, 2011 at 7:34 pm
Nothing outstanding apart from the fact the man wearing the jacket knows how to wear it and it suits him. It’s all about a certain kind of individuals who can wear simple pieces and still ooze with class.
October 24, 2011 at 7:46 pm
Great jacket. I’ve had a lifelong love affair with that color!
October 24, 2011 at 8:11 pm

Very handsome! I think some men look a little too metrosexual in the tailored blazer. Not this one, though.

The olive green goes well with the white. The linen-like look makes it extravagant.

I love this – I found a tailor in Paris who specializes in making his own military inspired clothes – unfortunately I am a woman and he only has a man’s line – but beautiful regardless if I can buy it or not!

October 25, 2011 at 8:43 am
Safari, maybe. Not military in any way, shape or form, unless you assume that a shade of green that’s not emerald is military.
October 25, 2011 at 8:55 am
I have that exact jacket, and got it at Target 3 years ago. Nice to see something I own being complemented on for all of the wrong reasons.
October 25, 2011 at 9:23 am

I have a similar jacket for autumn and spring. I love it. Simple, plain, timeless, goes with almost anything. Plus lots of pockets to make it easier for me to misplace my keys…
October 25, 2011 at 11:37 am
This is a look I commonly wear. It’s very comfortable and casual, but not so much that restaurant hostesses will seat me in the back of the restaurant… next to the kitchen or restroom doors.

Although I check this site regularly for its visual interest, I rarely leave comments simply because I think a lot of the looks are a bit costumey. Here, I’ll make an exception. This is a great look that is subtle, comfortable and elegant. Goes to show what you can do with some good tailoring and a little imagination. Bravo.
October 27, 2011 at 1:46 pm

I’m totally obsessing about unstructured jackets. I can’t wait to get one made for me! I’m thinking a thick Harris tweed with patch pockets…
