your photography has come very full circle scott, amazing photo. great depth of field, great composition.
for those asking what cameras scott uses, i’ve seen him use canon cameras with the 85 f1.2 and the 50 f1.2. you can see it in his bio pic. unless this is a new camera, while in europe, the drop off is gorgeous, almost cinema quality. but pretty sure it’s a canon rig.
your pictures have become so vibrant recently. really good showing lately.
Style Crowd Pleaser Alert!! Ditto.. all the comments above!
And, I rest my case about all the elegant style that the over 50+ crowd is rocking, and how inspiring it is at any age to see more of them. Keep ‘em coming;).
Reminds me of my always stylishFather too, @La Perla. I can’t look at this dapper gentleman without the faucet turning on.
Only angel’s come in with those Lake Louise Blues. Such kindness. But I’ll bet there is some devilish wisdom behind them.
Exquisite shot, man, style, Scott!
PS..Hoping there’s a Sart fan in Milano making sure he sees his beautiful portrait, and that he gets to read/hear of all the LOVE from his new worldwide Style fan club. George, Lino, AdR, Franca, Giovanna…anyone? What fun!
This photo remembered me of my father…is still alive, and has the same style and elegance of this man.
Great picture! Thank you for making our day so much beautiful…everyday!
Beautiful shot! Just the expression on this face says everything. There is such kindness in this look….and a touch of amusement too!

This picture shows wrinkles, character, a personality gone through years of experiences.
But above that, the thing that caught my eye the most, was his happiness.
Sarah looked again at the old man, reluctant to meet his gaze. There was something in his eyes she never found in the glances of the forty-something Wall Street types she usually dated.
It was knowledge.
It was happiness that had somehow made a pact with pain somewhere in his distant past; maybe before she’d even been born.

She stopped dead in her tracks and returned his smile.
I am so touched by this photo. It evokes so much purity and sweetness. You can’t help but think someone is lucky enough to call him Grandpa. Thank you Scott.
I was looking at the photo prior to this one marvelling at the perfection of the outfit when I saw this photo. Not sure whether one can photograph a person’s spirit but if so I believe you may be the first. Beautiful! http://www.vforveronique.com

But it was humor, too, and underneath that frayed but well cared-for hat, she could see it.
It was as if he knew more about her than she knew about herself. And in that instant, she realized what had driven her to Italy.
She stopped dead in her tracks and returned his smile.
