It’s really blond.

BLOND HAIR AND BIG SUNGLASSES! Love it.
October 10, 2011 at 4:29 pm
Ohhh I miss that warm feeling that we had in Paris during Fashion Week. Not only because of the amazing fashion, but also because of the late summer heat…. *dreaming away again from cold Holland*
October 10, 2011 at 4:30 pm
they look like sisters who have similar tastes in fashion
October 10, 2011 at 4:48 pm

Great photo – there could almost be a mirror in between them. I wonder if they’re twins -
October 10, 2011 at 5:05 pm
How cute are those white shoes?! Thank you, Paris, for teaching us all how to dress :)
Wow, this is actually such a lovely shot. Great job :)
October 10, 2011 at 5:15 pm
The blue bag is Fun! Great hair!!
October 10, 2011 at 5:16 pm
Well spotted! Those white shoes are quite cool paired with the stark black dress.
October 10, 2011 at 5:26 pm
Love black with blonde hair.
October 10, 2011 at 5:30 pm
Blond on Blond…..
I realize as I age that I find dark haired women infinitely more mysterious….
October 10, 2011 at 5:34 pm
Not a fan of crunchy blond hair.
October 10, 2011 at 5:36 pm
I’m filled with a sudden desire to bleach my hair platinum blonde.
Fabulous! They have managed to get the ‘white blonde’ thing looking just perfect and the clothes are great. Pale skin and pale hair is a great combination as this picture shows and love the way that this has just sort of evolved into the mainstream nowadays. Say ‘NO’ to skin cancer and look a million dollars every day of your long life!
October 10, 2011 at 5:48 pm
Very similar but very good! =)
October 10, 2011 at 5:56 pm
Your snapshots are amazing. They seem modeled yet portray a credence of life. Love the site!
Wow, what a great capture! I love their individuality. (and their shoes)
October 10, 2011 at 6:11 pm
This picture reminds me a story about a reunion of two friends who had lost views…. I love the shoes os the first one like if they are from a futuristic designer…
October 10, 2011 at 6:14 pm
Making both clogs and ankle socks look cool is so French!
October 10, 2011 at 6:22 pm
There aren’t many girls who can pull off such damaged hair, but the girl on the left certainly does. Gorgeous.
And I love the woman on the right’s shoes.
homemade blondes love the photo….hair color……
October 10, 2011 at 6:37 pm
natural and beautiful!
October 10, 2011 at 6:38 pm
Oooh…blue furry clutch with snakeskin skirt! Unusually great!

October 10, 2011 at 7:11 pm
There is something edgy about pale bleached hair with very dark roots.
These ladies seem to have an interesting story to tell about their styles which are quite similar in this different way of being chic.
October 10, 2011 at 7:13 pm
I do love their shoes
October 10, 2011 at 8:43 pm
Now THIS is a look I really adore. The Parisians really know how to work a minimalist palette and still make it look amazing and fresh each time. LOVE.
October 10, 2011 at 8:48 pm
Great shot as ever Scott.
PS Does anyone know the make of the solid white shoes? LOVE them; love them!
October 10, 2011 at 9:02 pm
Sorry although the outfits are very cute – from the shoes to the cookie monster clutch – there is no excuse for the hair.
October 10, 2011 at 9:11 pm
Like the python print dress, one of the trends of the moment!
October 10, 2011 at 9:36 pm
as adorable as they are, the hair makes my hair hurt… yet, those white shoes are calling my name!
October 10, 2011 at 11:21 pm
The woman on the left is wearing a python print skirt from the best Prada collection to date. I loved everything about that season and am pleased to see how wearing the pieces casually can be done. They both look really great and at ease. Love it.
October 10, 2011 at 11:41 pm
Black dress, blond hair, and black sunglasses is always a hit.
Funny that damaged hair works for her.

Love the white shoes. In fact, I want those white shoes!!!! Generally I dislike hair like colored like that, but it certainly looks great on these girls and in this shot. Very dramatic.

Looks like a great place to catch up ! Really like the black outfits, but the hair is a bit tooo blonde for my taste

October 11, 2011 at 3:15 am
Interesting to see that black can be a great way to express individual style, and not just a ‘uniform’, ‘hiding’ colour.
October 11, 2011 at 3:17 am
The lighting here is gorgeous, I miss that heat wave. It has turned towards Fall, and then Winter, eek! I guess bring on the fur.
October 11, 2011 at 3:20 am
I LOVE people who are NOT slaves to fashion. I ADORE these women. They are beautiful.
October 11, 2011 at 3:25 am
The bag is fun and the black shoes with socks are great!!!
October 11, 2011 at 3:27 am

October 11, 2011 at 3:30 am
plus the full face look like the sister of Scarlet Johanson.
October 11, 2011 at 3:35 am
Blondes in black — a classic look, often beautiful, as this is; love the shoes of the woman on the right.
October 11, 2011 at 3:55 am
yes..i’d like to know more about the shoes as well…are they Prada? What a calm, refreshing change from all the laborious too high/too strappy/too tortured looking sandals we get paraded in front of us
The life after

Scott. Would you take more pictures like you used to. Just natural peeps on the street, living life and exuding style. Not fashionistas. Women with curves, people with lines on their face. Men with un-groomed hair. People who are creative with colour.
October 11, 2011 at 4:19 am
While both these women may be well dressed ( debatable, the one on the left looks like a Rock Star’s girlfriend) , the overriding impression is of really quite unpleasant hair. So nowadays every woman over 20 has blonde hair- they have to have white blonde hair- with roots. What’s edgy about that? Tasteless.
October 11, 2011 at 4:33 am
I love the photo, nice light and postures on the steps!
Their hair is not acceptable though. Fashionista blond hair should be like Marina’s (the lady you posted with the Pj). This looks frizzy, the black roots are showing and humm, not so classy.
The white shoes now. A bit nurse-like…
Kisses from Greece!

Really nice portrait ! I love to watch people in the street, It’s obvious that the good taste is not easy to define even if we more or less know what it is. Also It could be seen as something superficial and futile but it’s not : It’s a real art, a philosophy of life. Something you do for yourself and for others.
Beau portrait !
The hair…is it just me…but it seems a little creepy?
Love the clothes! Especially the heels!
These women obviously look quite comfortable, especially sitting on steps in dresses! :)

Weirdly, you hardly notice their clothes with that blonde hair. And the shoes. So accessories really do count.

Love their shoes. Hate their hair. I understand the edginess factor, but Deborah Harry pulled off this look 30 years ago to much better effect.
