That is one awesome one-piece. I like that hat. I love how she's dressed sortof like a hobo, but it's cute.Mustart x

Love the beat up sneakers and fabulous romper. Effortless.
April 29, 2010 at 9:59 am

the nickel fit
April 29, 2010 at 10:00 am
could have easily overdone this look with the paired heels to match the trench. i'm glad she didn't :)
April 29, 2010 at 10:05 am
This model is so cute! LOVE her coat! Wonder if it's Yohji?
April 29, 2010 at 10:08 am
Bohemien is what came first to my mind when i saw this lovely girl..
April 29, 2010 at 10:09 am

The bag and trench are great, and the low-brim hat is cute, but as for the shapeless overall and filthy runners… no thanks.
April 29, 2010 at 10:17 am
she's aussie model rachel rutt!i love her.
Beautiful light . . .
April 29, 2010 at 10:18 am
Great style! I love her Chucks :)
April 29, 2010 at 10:20 am
again a great photography, the golden light towards the right just adds to the atmosphere, I also love the jumpsuit and the chucks. great look.
Rachel Rutt! She's amazing. Love her, and love this photo as well.
April 29, 2010 at 10:32 am
I love her stance, her expression, the sneakers and of course the one piece. She rocks it like no one else could. x
April 29, 2010 at 10:43 am

I love this…
April 29, 2010 at 11:01 am
Those are some well worn chucks!I love this lookand agree about the coach bag.I have a couple of vintage ones that definitely just keep getting better with age.
April 29, 2010 at 11:10 am
She is just stunning. I love her casual look and how different it could be if she flung on a pair of killer heels.
I need that jumpsuit in my life!

Rompers are my favorite. It's so great how she pairs it with the trench coat. Nice shot too!
April 29, 2010 at 11:24 am
Old, beat-up converses are a girl's best friend!
April 29, 2010 at 11:38 am
dirty shoes is good.
April 29, 2010 at 11:46 am
I'm so not into the dirty sneaker/converse thing. If you are a fashionista and like to wear converse, I think there should be a rule that you have to keep the white parts around the bottom white and clean at all times!

She is so lovely. Looks like a model and kind of reminds me of Kate Moss in the casually elegant way she has "thrown" everything together to perfection. I love the print of her one piece, and her choice of off beat accessories mixed with classics is unsurpassed!
April 29, 2010 at 1:07 pm
WOW! I adore her style, she looks fantastic!
Simply beautiful . . .
April 29, 2010 at 1:08 pm
April 29, 2010 at 1:36 pm
She has that faraway look…thinking about someone she loves? Very enchanting and effortless!
April 29, 2010 at 1:38 pm
Wow I never would have believed a jumpsuit could look sexy. I think the depth of the neckline, some kind of waist knotting or gathering, and cropped pants work to counter the garbageman effect. As, of course, does the gorgeous woman wearing it. I'll even forgive the diaper bag.
April 29, 2010 at 2:11 pm
White converse are inevitably going to get dirty, which is chill – who has time to keep them sparkling white anyways… but these are just gross- they're filthy!
April 29, 2010 at 2:14 pm
I would've been horribly self-conscious of my dirty sneaks if asked to pose. Doesn't seem to bother her so it doesn't me. She looks super comfy without looking careless.
April 29, 2010 at 2:23 pm
i would never have thought to wear that coat with this which is why i love it
April 29, 2010 at 2:24 pm
This all works so good together. This is the kind of look that makes me wish I was tall so that I could wear a super long trench and jumpsuit without it dwarfing me. The best part is her chucks, I don't mind that they're dirty, when I was a teen mind were way worse (actually falling into pieces). To top it all off she's super gorgeous too, lucky girl!
April 29, 2010 at 2:25 pm
Those trainers are class!
April 29, 2010 at 2:50 pm
She looks very bohemian, I like her outfit :)
April 29, 2010 at 2:54 pm
OMG, she cant look better! looove this!

Anyone know where that romper is from? I love it!
April 29, 2010 at 3:47 pm
Talk about effortless style… She is chic yet casual… I guess its the beat up sneaker that makes it look that way!
April 29, 2010 at 3:52 pm
VERY CHIC OUTFIT! LOVE THE CONVERSES!XX
April 29, 2010 at 3:59 pm
loving me some sydney right now!
April 29, 2010 at 4:06 pm
love the dirty shoeshttp://www.donotshoeme.blogspot.com/
April 29, 2010 at 4:19 pm
OK, I'll say it, I hate the chucks, as you call them. They're dirty, they don't work with the outfit and they seem like a silly way to end an otherwise lovely outfit.
April 29, 2010 at 4:36 pm
Love this look from head to dirty chuck. we just got some great jump suits in by Graham and Spencer.
April 29, 2010 at 6:23 pm
pulls off the one piece with such ease and the beat up sneakers make the look all the better, less predictable.
April 29, 2010 at 7:10 pm
I love the fact that she looks so relaxed. Her pose strikes me more than the clothes, although I really like those too. I wish I looked that comfortable in my own skin.
April 29, 2010 at 7:11 pm
She is just divine. That trench is glorious.
April 29, 2010 at 7:50 pm
Wow, all of the girls on the street that you shoot look remarkably like models. What a coincidence…
April 29, 2010 at 8:23 pm
Oh Rachel Rutt, how I love her! Wish I bumped into her on the street!
April 29, 2010 at 8:40 pm
YEAH!!! converse :D
April 29, 2010 at 8:41 pm
so glad you've made it to sydney !! it is the best city i think – perhaps im biased though… very cool jumpsuit..

wowzers. Amazing outfit. Love the kicks.http://www.citizette.com
April 29, 2010 at 9:15 pm
I particularly like how the color and texture of the print reflect the dirt on the shoes. On one hand you have this wonderful print with the feeling of brush strokes that then contrasts with these worked in , used shoes that were maybe worn while creating this print. Not sure how to articulate this, but I think it is great. I want that jumpsuit.
April 29, 2010 at 9:42 pm
All of these girls shown are models – Aussie's have great style looking forward to more of a mix up with the people in Syd! (not just these beautiful and stylish models)
April 29, 2010 at 9:49 pm
Readers often say, "I wish I could see the shoes," but this time, I don't. Cover the shoes and bare leg to see the difference: elegance and a beautiful face are what you see first.
April 29, 2010 at 10:57 pm
She looks stunning. She knows what looks good on her. That's a talent.

that jumpsuit is amazing!
April 30, 2010 at 3:59 am
I saw this girl on my way to work today. I was on the bus in Glebe and she was walking down Glebe Point Road with a friend and was wearing burgundy stocking with the outfit at the time. She looked super cute!
April 30, 2010 at 4:44 am
i find it somewhat disheartening to know all these australian beauties are models. that said, no disrespect to their amazing style
April 30, 2010 at 6:08 am
little bit too much posing for a street photo! That makes her sneakers not cleaner :-)But she has a heavenly face.
April 30, 2010 at 6:35 am
Great shot! beautiful face and love that trench coat…
April 30, 2010 at 9:39 am
She looks great….love the pose.
April 30, 2010 at 12:13 pm
Why are these one-piece jumpsuits (I don't know their real name) so frequently, so appallingly unflattering?
April 30, 2010 at 7:27 pm
she looks like a cool person.haha.
May 1, 2010 at 12:14 am
I'm surprised no one else mentioned it yet, but doesn't this remind you of The Breakfast Club?
May 1, 2010 at 6:52 am
Love the neckline and shape of the collar on the coat. That is nice.
May 1, 2010 at 7:17 am
Coolest outfit i've seen all week. I want that playsuit!

Love the coach bucket bag. I've been searching for one just like it for awhile now. Unfortunately, this photo is going to make getting my hands on one even more challenging.
May 1, 2010 at 8:20 am
I love her romper!
May 1, 2010 at 10:47 am
You can see more pics of Rachel, in this very same outfit plus bag, in Frockwriter by Patty Huntingdon (who interviewed Garance at the launch of her exhibition of fashion drawings the other day in Sydney).

ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!! i always see her at fashion week
oh yeah its IMG!! lol
May 2, 2010 at 3:24 pm
WOW I love her style ! It's so beautiful and cool ! I have to find a jumpsuit like this.
May 2, 2010 at 11:21 pm
I think what makes this photo spectacular is not only this woman's style choice, but the positioning of her right foot. The odd juxtapostion of her angled foot and symmetric attire truly grabs my attention.
May 3, 2010 at 7:11 am
she is great
May 3, 2010 at 8:55 am
I like everything except the jumpsuit, which she clearly things is the bee's knees.
May 3, 2010 at 1:47 pm

September 6, 2010 at 11:57 am
look at that stance.
December 23, 2010 at 4:01 pm
Degage/insouciant, but sexy as hell. To quote the Ohio Players song "Brickhouse", "makes an old man wish for his younger days".
June 9, 2012 at 11:54 pm
Gorgeous jumpsuit!!!! Gorgeous coat! Gorgeous hat. Gorgeous Converse!!!!!GORGEOUS ATTITUDE. There is NOTHING that needs to be changed! Who thinks like that anyhow??? thats why they call it personal style. No one cares how someone else “might” wear this. the important thing is how SHE IS wearing it. Thats why the picture was taken of her and not anyone else. Thats face. its just easy to get lost in that expression.
