It’s a look I would have never thought about to wear, but that makes it very inspirational.
she’s stunning! Never seen a skirt like that, really beautiful! :)
October 6, 2011 at 9:32 am
a modern-day snow white!
October 6, 2011 at 9:37 am
Nice contrasted combination of the sparkly, outrageous shoes and the boyish burgundy socks.
October 6, 2011 at 9:39 am
Love the shoes with the socks, something about it is very glamorous yet very earthy and banal. Great shot, Scott!
And hey, I took a good shot of you too(hope you like it), before the Chanel show in Paris: http://cairo-paris.blogspot.com/2011/10/sartorialist.html
A true original. Beautiful.
PS: I wish I could walk in shoes like that.
October 6, 2011 at 9:41 am
Classic beauty modern hipster!
October 6, 2011 at 9:42 am

October 6, 2011 at 9:50 am

October 6, 2011 at 9:52 am
Fresh, young, beautiful.
October 6, 2011 at 9:53 am
I adore her ‘coy’ attitude to having her picture taken. And her skirt, that’s a damn cool skirt.
October 6, 2011 at 9:54 am
If she wouldn’t smile I would be wondering.
I do not like her style but I see what is interesting on her. The boldness and sweetness all together.
Very nice picture.
Kisses from Greece!
This is certainly a woman with her own ideas about style.
I like this picture, and I like how she own’s the style.
October 6, 2011 at 9:58 am
A gorgeous mix of styles… grunge, classic and modern. I love it!
October 6, 2011 at 9:59 am

October 6, 2011 at 10:00 am
Stunning! Such an amazing haircut and a wonderful skirt!
October 6, 2011 at 10:01 am
This is all kinds of fabulousness! Love how the tattoo picks up the sense of the drawings on her skirt, the classic bag with just a touch of edge (chain straps), and of course those SHOES!! Great shot!
October 6, 2011 at 10:03 am
Wow… the way those figures marching across her skirt echo her tattoo fanned across her upper arm… This photograph is full of contrasts and depth. Gorgeous, Scott!

October 6, 2011 at 10:20 am
how fun is that skirt! Brave combination, I think the glittery shoes take the cake.
October 6, 2011 at 10:29 am
Not necessarily something that I would put together, but I really like it!
I love the shoes and socks! Actually love the whole look, minus handbag….
October 6, 2011 at 10:31 am
Interesting look, spoiled by the cig…

October 6, 2011 at 10:39 am
I’m fascinated by the drawing on that skirt…wish I could touch it…can’t tell how it was applied. A very fine hand is on that skirt.
October 6, 2011 at 10:42 am
She looks like a modern-day Audery Hepburn!

Her style is the best. So original and cool, love her!
October 6, 2011 at 11:11 am
Who knew that drawing cartoons with sharpy could make a perfectly beautiful dress disposable? Love what she was aiming for and she does look beautiful but that poor poor dress.

October 6, 2011 at 11:12 am
Beautiful….the shoes with the socks are cool!
Mes Voyages à Paris
Very sexy woman. her outfit is edgy but feminine. i really like the graffiti on the skirt: playful. it all works for me.
October 6, 2011 at 11:19 am

October 6, 2011 at 11:30 am

What an interesting lady and wonderful mixtures of styles..
October 6, 2011 at 11:47 am
OMG! Unlike a lot of others, I think this girl is so daring! So Parisian. <3
October 6, 2011 at 11:51 am
Fun skirt, but don’t care for the heavy socks..
October 6, 2011 at 11:53 am
She has a graceful strength, and a subtle delicateness in her composure. I love her smile.
October 6, 2011 at 12:05 pm
She is a Miu Miu lover… Miu miu matelasse bag match with Miu Miu glitter sandals (not of this season). Interesting contrast in style between bag/shoes and skirt/tattoo
October 6, 2011 at 12:15 pm
I never thought she had doodled on the skirt, I thought it was embroidery. Marvelous.
October 6, 2011 at 12:22 pm
The drawings on her skirt are inspiring me to draw on mine!
October 6, 2011 at 12:26 pm

October 6, 2011 at 12:53 pm
Love this style!!!! The color looks so funny together!
October 6, 2011 at 1:02 pm
Woah, her tattoo, her skirt, her tights and the sparkling heels are totally amazing.
I like so much her sketches on the skirt!!!
October 6, 2011 at 1:10 pm
I love the expression on her face and the way she cradles her cigarette. The shoes/red socks are fantastic.
October 6, 2011 at 1:18 pm
This look reminds me of how just a simple trend like socks, can reinvigorate simple silhouettes.
The combination of textures is artful. This style (minus the cig) is so together, maybe it would a Level 10, according to Garance!
October 6, 2011 at 1:36 pm
Oh my, that skirt gave me the idea of letteing friends contribute on the design of one of my skirts. Just give them a pen in their hand and letting them draw or write something, like the way you used to get drawings och sayings on a plaster.
The Fancy Teacup
October 6, 2011 at 1:54 pm
The illustrations on her skirt are such a darling surprise.
October 6, 2011 at 1:57 pm
I wish I could wear my sparkly stilettos with socks like that! I always feel like I fool whenever I attempt to!
October 6, 2011 at 2:03 pm
Interesting in that it’s heavy and light at the same time. One of the prettiest tattoos I’ve seen. She should not get any more because it’s beautiful in its one-ness. Wonder what the fur piece is.
October 6, 2011 at 2:11 pm
woo the skirt is a creation of Jimi Roos. are embroidered by hand and he is very good. I have one of his t-shirt you can see it here!
October 6, 2011 at 2:21 pm
That skirt together with that cut of blouse and waist looks so 1950′s! I absolutely love it!!!! I was watching ‘Pan Am’ and its the same silhouette but better. I love how the socks match the nail polish too. This is def a look i would like to do!
October 6, 2011 at 2:30 pm
Just noticed the drawings on her skirt. Did she draw them herself, I wonder?
October 6, 2011 at 2:38 pm
Thats is NOT a dog. Its a coat trimmed with Faux fur. When is the last time you saw a taupe and lavender dog?
October 6, 2011 at 2:45 pm
Love her look! Unique!
Lover her smile!
Love that photo!
October 6, 2011 at 3:01 pm
A true, Modern-day diva who knows who she is. Love it!
October 6, 2011 at 3:22 pm
If it wasn’t for the cigarette she would be my girl-crush….gorgeous!

October 6, 2011 at 4:14 pm
She looks gorgeous. I love everything in her look. You don’t see stylish gilrs like this here in Brazil.
October 6, 2011 at 4:31 pm
This is Paris and I love it. But I’ve always detested socks in sandals or open shoes so I force myself not to look at her feet.
Greetings from Amsterdam.
October 6, 2011 at 4:44 pm
perfect, loving the socks with these sequin wedges
October 6, 2011 at 4:52 pm
how fun that her apparel is also “tattoo-ed!”

I really like how her nail polish matches her socks, and how she’s freshened up a classic long skirt with freestyle embroidery.
October 6, 2011 at 7:59 pm
thank you so much for identifying that drawing. I knew it couldn’t be ink…
a Sharpie!…please!…even I’m insulted.
October 6, 2011 at 8:07 pm
Love the entire thing–she WEARS it. Beautifully.
October 6, 2011 at 8:45 pm
Funky Funky style, I love those shoes and what she *drew* on her skirt..
October 6, 2011 at 8:52 pm
Love everything about the look. How does one make/let all that happen? Parisiennes–such a mystery.
October 7, 2011 at 1:36 am
Love her haircut and her socks with those shoes! Adorable!

This entire look is stunning! From head to toe! Love it xxx
October 7, 2011 at 1:59 pm
This is one of my favorites- From the dog in her lap, the cut of her hair, her lovely tat across her shoulder, the surprising socks with the shoes. Her smile gestures beyond the cute skirt; it tells us not only she is pleased to photographed but, yes, she is happy with how she looks. Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!
October 7, 2011 at 4:21 pm
Great photo. I love her smile.
October 7, 2011 at 5:59 pm

It. Is. Not. A. Dog. It. Is. A. Coat. And I don’t think that smile is happiness at being photographed. It looks more that she thinks its funny.
October 8, 2011 at 12:00 pm
I love her hair cut so much! Did she draw on her skirt ? :)
October 8, 2011 at 3:07 pm
She could not be more French !
October 8, 2011 at 4:01 pm
Her hair is so fantastic. I love the color and the cut. Her shoes with the chunky red socks are also fantastic. Great photo.

October 10, 2011 at 3:48 am
I am actually in awe of this. Perhaps I shall rummage about in my closet for a similar skirt, but the hair and the shoes and the nails and the everything just (to be honest) humble me.
I want to be this woman when I grow up.
October 10, 2011 at 5:17 am
I love this pic! Is full of contrasts that make it so special…
October 10, 2011 at 4:43 pm

October 16, 2011 at 11:06 am
Love the whole outfit. Great mix of colours and textures. Would love to know if the skirt was sold that way, or she added the sketch details.

October 28, 2011 at 1:55 am
Really liking the punk/Dior look. Meticulous though rebellious.
