What a fabulous outfit! I love the hat and the jewel tones.
October 5, 2011 at 9:07 am
Mastering the art of playing with colors. Beautiful.
October 5, 2011 at 9:08 am
Beautifulllllll, absolutely brilliant here!
And of course, Garance looking gorgeous :)
I loved her outfit yesterday very much, couldn’t help snapping a few shots before the Chanel show (http://cairo-paris.blogspot.com/search/label/garance%20dore)
October 5, 2011 at 9:10 am
Now, these shoes are worthy of love! such a nice colour. Lovely autumn colours in the background, too, matches the clothes. A touch of Robin Hood there with the hat – cool!

Beautifulllllllll, absolutely brilliant here.
And of course Garance looking gorgeous, I loved the purple yesterday, couldn’t help but snap a few shots before the Chanel show (http://cairo-paris.blogspot.com/search/label/garance%20dore)
I actually gasped when I saw this photo. Such luscious fall colors, and that hat! Both women are beautiful. But Garance really does have a killer smile.
I’m guessing that you do whatever you can to see that smile as often as possible.
October 5, 2011 at 9:13 am
Garance is simply faboulus, and so are your photo’s…a perfect combination! :-)
October 5, 2011 at 9:17 am
Beautiful Picture…….Great color.
October 5, 2011 at 9:18 am
I loved the purplish combination!
Great picture, but let’s talk about that HAT! PLEASE share where Garance got that most fabulous hat!
October 5, 2011 at 9:19 am
Oh My GoD!! How cute!! I’d like to look like them :)
October 5, 2011 at 9:25 am
October 5, 2011 at 9:27 am
Excellent photo! So joyful, I feel like I’m with them. Phenomenal ensembles as well- not sure what is the best piece. Shoes, bags, purple? The little bracelet on the blonde is a nice touch.
October 5, 2011 at 9:28 am
October 5, 2011 at 9:30 am
Oh good god. Look at the PAIR of them!!! Wowowowow…. thanks for this, Scott.
Is that Elisa Nalin she’s with? They both look great and you’ve captured a wonderful, happy moment.
What a beautiful smile ! (le soleil des Tuileries?)

Loving the symmetry in colors, crossed legs, shoes, and, most pleasantly–the joie de vivre.
October 5, 2011 at 9:32 am

October 5, 2011 at 9:34 am
The colors they’re wearing are amazing. I love this shot. It’s so fall!
October 5, 2011 at 9:42 am
Wow! Tres chic!
Parfaita aux Tuileries !
Wow! Her hat and dress are absolutely fabulous! I love the texture of the dress and how it falls on her. The mix of colors is amazing, she looks so autumn-y!
October 5, 2011 at 9:43 am
I love the looks of both ladies, I love the backround (the leaves, the bench, the light) and their smiles. Nice moment captured.
Blonde lady has a very nice mixture of colour and textures and a chic bracelet.
But Garance is a cute little cheater: She said she only wore Zara flats in Paris while I see here some serious heel amazingly well combined with hat and dress ;-) By the way is this the Gucci hat she said she would yield to? Well worn!!!
Kisses from Greece!
October 5, 2011 at 9:45 am
all their colours are fantastic :)
I never realy liked magenta color. But Garance fits perfectly! Selection of colors, autumn, and those Prada shoes! WOW – lady!
October 5, 2011 at 9:47 am
Lovely sophisticated stylish ladies~ I love….
October 5, 2011 at 9:48 am
Love, love, love that hat! what a sophisticated ensemble… both of them!
October 5, 2011 at 9:51 am
Beautiful colours! Garance looks as stunning as ever – what a fabulous hat! But I do love the fresh colours her friend is wearing. The purple skirt really lifts her outfit out of an ice-cream palette into something more interesting. Great image of two very stylish ladies.
October 5, 2011 at 9:55 am
Oooh, gorgeous fall colours. Love the plum and rust together.
October 5, 2011 at 9:58 am

October 5, 2011 at 9:59 am
she smiles, wide and pure, her hat jauntily cocked to the side of her head. all who are in her presence are enveloped by her warmth, her beauty.
October 5, 2011 at 10:00 am

October 5, 2011 at 10:17 am
October 5, 2011 at 10:18 am
Okay, more Garance from time to time, please. She fascinates me. And she has *such* a sense of personal style.
The woman with her is no slouch, either. :) I would steal either (or both!) pairs of shoes in a nanosecond!
Gorgeous! Love the colours & light! Very early Fall
October 5, 2011 at 10:24 am

October 5, 2011 at 10:43 am
The two women are perfectly well combined…
Purple mixed with orange is one of my favourites mixtures…it’s simply wonderful.
The violet feather in her hat..
Their smiles show complicity between them… in a Fall atmosphere… Perfection.

October 5, 2011 at 10:58 am

October 5, 2011 at 10:59 am
She’s so chic…
October 5, 2011 at 11:01 am
Really warm, autumnal shot. The climate, clothing and the obvious warmth between Garance and her blonde friend with the AMAZING hair. (Does she actually have anything in that beautiful black patent bag?).
October 5, 2011 at 11:07 am
Very nice picture of two beautiful ladies.
love the colors.
Garance’s shoes are wonderful; while the hat I feel it sits to high. But maybe it is done on purpose – she often wear hats a bit too much above the headfront.
October 5, 2011 at 11:13 am
Absolutely stunning – what a smile and that hat – wow
October 5, 2011 at 11:14 am
They look amazing… I want their style :)
October 5, 2011 at 11:15 am
So adorable both of them are using the same shade of purple and nice bracelets

The life after
October 5, 2011 at 11:29 am
This is such a beautiful picture!! The both women are so elegant and feminine. Love it!
I adore Garance… in this photo, though, before realizing that it was her, the first thing that came to my mind is “high class female pimp.”
she is an absolute dream filled with style and personality !
October 5, 2011 at 11:32 am
my mum would love that purple!
October 5, 2011 at 11:34 am
it’s simply amazing!

October 5, 2011 at 11:56 am
oh she’s so incredible! I know where it is! Jardin des Tuileries… You know why? Cos I’m Fren and I’ve seen you in the park, with your camera, you were walking very fastly and have been in one meter from me for a second, looking after a great pic to take. But, you haven’t taken a pic from me, ahah! You had such an “eagle” look, you know what I mean? Like lasers. It was fun to meet you like this! A Parisian fan :o)
October 5, 2011 at 11:58 am
Stunning beauties and wonderful composition in photo. I love the hat but would love to see more chic short haircuts like the blond’s~ Parisians can pull off short hair better than anyone! Could you give us a portfolio of what you are seeing there?
October 5, 2011 at 12:05 pm
That short silver hair is to-die-for chic!
October 5, 2011 at 12:08 pm
J’adore les couleurs, et les chaussures, surtout les FENDI de Garance !!
October 5, 2011 at 12:11 pm
This has to go in the next book. It’s the sort of photo people will look back on 80 years from now and say, “I really wish I had lived during that time” if only to bask in such a smile.
October 5, 2011 at 12:19 pm
I would LOVE to be the third girl in this ellegant and happy laughing round!
They look gorgeous, stunning!!!
October 5, 2011 at 12:41 pm

Oh, those purple and rust hues just glow! Looks like Paris cooled off a bit after I left on Tuesday. It was great to run into you at the Palais Royale and then later catch Garance after the Chloe show! Safe travels!

October 5, 2011 at 2:53 pm
I like so much how the play with colors .
October 5, 2011 at 2:59 pm
Fall colors for Garance, I love her Gucci hat!
October 5, 2011 at 3:03 pm
I think the hat is great fun..so different from the ones we’ve been seeing lately on the street. Here in Chicago, it’s a lot of Target hats…no doubt Garance’s is more high end. But it has considerably more flare. Now I just want to learn how to knit something like this. Then I’d felt it. Is this doable?
October 5, 2011 at 3:04 pm
nobody rocks a hat like garance …
October 5, 2011 at 3:10 pm
Elisa looks great. The combination of colors is awesome! I think Garance’s hat is to high, it doesn’t look not very charming to me.
October 5, 2011 at 3:19 pm
Very nice complicity, beautiful girls !!!
Ed Ward G Hyde
One word: gorgeous.
October 5, 2011 at 3:37 pm
October 5, 2011 at 3:55 pm
It’s Garance’s smile under that flambard that makes me very happy.
October 5, 2011 at 3:57 pm
Beautiful photo. They had to have planned their color palette, didn’t they? They complement each other beautifully.
October 5, 2011 at 4:00 pm

What an utterley fabulous shade of purple. They look like they are having fun and enjoying themselves – what’s the point of wearing all those nice clothes if you can’t laugh at the same time so GOOD for them!

October 5, 2011 at 6:01 pm
Great style, looks like a dream.

Always notice how happy garance looks in your photos.
October 5, 2011 at 7:19 pm
Love both of their outfits, i love he setting because the autumn leaves make a good background. Fun….
October 5, 2011 at 7:40 pm
this is amazing! the colors are fantastic and the women in this photo look like long-time friends!
October 5, 2011 at 7:55 pm
This photo is really stunning from every angle! Naturally beautiful.
October 5, 2011 at 8:26 pm
This is too much of a studied look. Its okay for a magazine cover but it still looks unnatural. The purple should have been muted with a blend of grey to make it look better.
October 5, 2011 at 8:29 pm
How nice! This is turning out to be a lovely to read and love fest from commenters for Garance you and Elisa.
Besides all the wonderful style, and fashion on that bench, they both have killa’ legs and smiles. Kinda makes you wish there would be a new rule on runways: Starting today, “All models must smile, laugh and dance down the runway”.
Call me crazy, but i bet sales would go up!
As a matter of fact, i think i’ll do alittle shopping right now.
The Foolish Aesthete
October 5, 2011 at 8:46 pm
Lovely shot. They look beautiful together in their complementary outfits.
October 5, 2011 at 9:14 pm
Garance is absolutely fabulous! She’s right there at the top. If she wouldn’t have such an awesome sense of human she’d be unapproachable. LOVE her style!

October 6, 2011 at 7:25 am
Great energy in the picture! Garance looks lovely.
October 6, 2011 at 7:32 am
They both look divine. I love Elisa’s shoes (great color). And Garance’s hat is the fabulous!
October 6, 2011 at 12:25 pm
Are those velvet shoes? If so, they are amazing. I’ve been looking for velvet pieces and have been left wanting. Those shoes would do the trick.
October 6, 2011 at 2:14 pm
Cannot stop gazing at this photo!
The colour contrast is gorgeous and softened slightly by the different textures Garance is using. Elisa’s playful blue shoes, bright purple skirt and orange collar complete your photo.
October 6, 2011 at 4:09 pm
only one thing can i say while i looking this great photo:i can almost hear them laugh!it’s far away from fashion, its beyond style, its like LIFE in a cinematic way. This is pure s-art-orialist!

October 8, 2011 at 2:38 pm
LOVE the use of color — the bright blue shoe, the purple skirt, and the little bit of orange at the neck? Just terrific. Makes me want to step up my own use of color.

strange days in Paris, autumn and summer temperatures, but to me it was a great sensation…. nice shot mr Scott
October 10, 2011 at 12:25 am
What I like about this photo, is that it captures timeless style, just imagine for a second it was in B&W , it would still make perfect sense!
October 10, 2011 at 6:48 am
Garance’s hat, shoes, bag ..each item has a stylish elegance. Any two of them together would be chic. All three together looks contrived, matchy-matchy,elegance lost.
October 11, 2011 at 1:24 pm
Lovely outfit, but for an older lady not you. it makes you look older than you are.
October 11, 2011 at 4:49 pm
Garance looks adorable!! and Elisa is such an icon.
A Girl, A Style
October 12, 2011 at 5:55 am
Oh, Garance surely does have the most infectious smile in the whole industry! Absolutely love this picture of them amongst the autumn leaves.

To me, the most beautiful thing about Garance (apart from the contagious smile) is that she manages to look both sophisticated and cool at the same time, whatever she wears. Just makes you want to hang out with her, sitting on a bench, laughing :)
July 11, 2012 at 5:46 am
Nice blog, come to see mine!
