The Outsiders…..a la Pony Boy before the dye job
love the androgyny, the chain, the haircut looks like the barber just cut it 5 minutes ago.
September 30, 2011 at 3:26 pm
I love your portraits, Scott! They are all so natural, intense and beautiful…
The detail of the chain around the pulse is really cool and gives him a rebellious look! I loved it :)
Wow, I like this chain? Oo. =)

Tout simplement, j’adore !
September 30, 2011 at 4:11 pm
That chain has got to be from a bike. If it’s a bracelet this world has gone crazy…
September 30, 2011 at 4:13 pm
he looks like so many people combined…love the face, what a natural
September 30, 2011 at 4:21 pm
He is very cute with his xxl chain and ring, the shot is great and expressive!
September 30, 2011 at 4:43 pm
Is the bracelet connected to the ring? Beautiful boy. Great symbolism.

Warriors come out and play.
Fantastic today photo.
September 30, 2011 at 4:53 pm
Ha! Saw him today. A russian boy, so not exactly a parisian to say ;) Nothing special really.
September 30, 2011 at 5:11 pm
He is pretty. But I never really see people as androgynous. They always look male or female tp me. He looks like a guy. Probably because he is a guy. That or a girl that shaves her face. And in no way does he remind me of any of the characters in the Outsiders. Not Ponyboy Curtis or anyone else. He looks far too confident and reliable.
September 30, 2011 at 5:15 pm
This is beautiful…..!!!
September 30, 2011 at 5:23 pm
Jet black hair would look better on him, love the chain bracelet and sleeveless Hooded jacket though.
September 30, 2011 at 5:29 pm

I visited a french school for an exchange program and all the guys were wearing varsity jackets and dressed really preppy…this is such a refreshing change.
September 30, 2011 at 7:19 pm
Does he have a blush on?! CUTE!
September 30, 2011 at 8:04 pm
Interesting, accidental implied symbolism Scott? Love the ironic look at how today’s youth are seemingly chained to their technological devices(sic).
September 30, 2011 at 8:29 pm

What is he thinking about?
October 2, 2011 at 1:28 am
He’s a little delicate in build, and he’s very well accessorized – but it would never occur to me he is androgynous… He looks very “les jeunes come hier”

October 3, 2011 at 11:41 pm
i love this portraiture! this youth as his appeal intact the right way at the right age!
October 4, 2011 at 3:11 pm
Its a BIKE CHAIN, NOT a bracelet. Come on! Its pretty obvious.Outsiders is a great book, especially if you read it as a kid, which I did. I suppose you could wear a bike chain as a bracelt even if you don’t own a bike. Might be a bit silly, i have no doubt that he actually does own a bike, and uses the chain for its intended purpose.
October 4, 2011 at 4:38 pm
